Agreed. Considering how many superficial personal "relationships" exist between members of all alliances in this game, I don't think an acceptance of terms or surrender is too far off. I'm not enough of a wordsmith to describe exactly what I mean, but it seems like many of the tough guys around these parts really aren't too tough at all. Behind the tough speeches are really just wussy White Peaces and chats in IRC about how drunk they are. Undercover hippies, all.

I'm barely eligible for the Green team senate, because of the Hard-100 rule. However, I agree with the OP's suggestion-- The Senate vote should consist of the top 100 nations in each color sphere, minus those who disallow votes.

There are plenty of very large nations with bad resources. I say stick it out and make it work, Argon. Once you become larger you will be able to buy a trade here or there if you have to. Don't take the easy way out. It's just a game, after all. have fun with the cards you were dealt.
