A list of needed materials would be required as we would like to have a moderately sized part in this project. We are calling an emergency meeting concerning the despicable attack upon the capital of the Imperium of America as well as a promise of utter destruction. For one we see this as a direct attack upon a treaty member and believe that defensive assets should be deployed to assist.

As it has been a while and there is a majority in favor Viniland will become a special member of the American Treaty Organization excluded from articles IV and V of the Charter. OOC: I need your signature.

The Cainan Empire is now a part of the American Treaty Organization I believe we should just go with our peacetime headquarters in Dell Land and in the event of a war either the Imperium of America, the Wilson Empire, or Viniland depending on which is furthest from the main theater of action. If all are agreed we can start a vote for this as we see the peacetime location of the HQ as a rather trivial matter. We also vote aye on the entrance of Viniland. Didn't you want to be excluded from some articles of the ATO for the meantime? The American Treaty Organization is not an anti-colonial organization. While we would probably go against it it is not the mandate of the ATO to oppose all attempts at colonization. If the establishment of a colony leads to instability to the region then actions will be taken but if it doesn't harm anyone we're not going to make a big deal out of it.

We vote aye on the entrance of the Cainan Empire. We also need to find a good and relatively safe headquarters although I do think that in the event of a war it should be moved somewhere safer if it is threatened. That being said we do need a place for representatives such as ourselves to meet and discuss things unless you all want to do it by video phone? We'd be relatively open to that as well but if we go down that path we need to create some landlines which should be impervious to tampering, jamming, and EMPs.

While we do see that the Imperium is among one of the most powerful members of this alliance our military analysts do not believe much of your territory has enough depth for a defense against an extremely large hostile alliance. We'd prefer much to see the Headquarters within around the middle of the Wilson Empire where there is sufficient depth for an prolonged defense or perhaps the nation of Dell Land. EDIT: However, should the nation of Viniland join the ATO we'd prefer to see the headquarters located in the northern middle part of the country.

The Nation of Prince Edward Island is hereby admitted to the American Treaty Organization. As such voting privileges have been given to their representative. We now await the votes of Okhrana and Prince Edward Island on the status of the membership of the Imperium of America and Dell Land.

As the name implies it is the AMERICAN Treaty Organization so we see no reason why this shouldn't be. This could certainly be discussed if you so wish to join the American Treaty Organization.

Although the Wilson Empire has not given it's decision on the membership of Prince Edward Island we hope that the decision will come soon although with a 2/3 majority vote the nation of Prince Edward Island will become a member of the American Treaty Organization by tomorrow at 6:00 PM EST. On another note we'd like to address the our fellow members about some current needs of our alliance. 1) Site of a Headquarters for the American Treaty Organization This site will be where our representatives and military personnel can work together to assist each other in many issues and for general ease of communications. It should preferably be within, at least, a moderately sized city away from the borders of non member nations to be relatively secure from a ground invasion. A joint national security force should be composed of to protect the Headquarters. The location should be debated and decided upon. 2) Military Cooperation Exercises A major part of this alliance is the physical defense of each member nation. As a result we believe it would be very beneficial to start some sort of annual alliance wide military exercise. Details can also be discussed about this.

I would think a nation with a larger military will probably have more than just 50 Cruise missiles. I mean, you're ships need cruise missiles, submarines, aircraft, and just launch sites. I'd think one fleet of ships alone would carry more than just 50 cruise missiles. But like Shan pointed out above you can't just go "lol I launch a gazillion missiles"

The nation of Prince Edward Island has petitioned to join the American Treaty Organization. We'd like to have the vote of all signatories on this matter. The USNA votes yea on the admittance of Prince Edward Island into the American Treaty Organization.

By Unanimous agreement the American Treaty Organization hereby adopts the following resolution. Diberian Defense Resolution The American Treaty Organization finds that the actions of the aggressor nations involved in the unwarranted invasion of Diberia to be unacceptable and destabilizing to the entire Western Hemisphere. The American Treaty Organization finds itself to be in the defense of the nation of Diberia and forces are to be committed by member nations until the aggressor nations agree to a suitable peace settlement or they capitulate. -American Treaty Organization

Even though this is somewhat redundant at this point we call for a Resolution for the assistance and defense of the nation of Diberia from the aggressor nations Marsa Street, Agmar, and Legendis until a peace is negotiated or the enemy destroyed. This calls upon all signatory nations to provide troops and resources to provide defense for Diberia and assist other allied nations there in throwing the aggressor nations out. The USNA votes yes on this resolution.

Our military is being mobilized as well. While we do hope for a diplomatic solution to this incident we must discuss other options. Our Americas Fleet is in the area with the Pacific and Atlantic Fleets on the way as well. We can't do much with what we have in the area currently but give some time we could possibly get something together. OOC: now I sleep.

Of course, this is more like a temporary conference meeting at an undisclosed location. We can decide on a headquarters later.

Starting out we'd like to discuss the sudden conflict that has erupted in South America. We'd like to know the views of the other signatories and decide on a course of action for it.

I'd say using actual troop strength would be best. The efficiency should show the effectiveness of your troops through equipment and training.

I say keep it up for the newer players and in the meantime deliberate on the steps for higher tech levels.

Change the Northern Alliance to the American Treaty Organization and add the Republic of Arizona.
