  1. Nuclear weapons are too much of a burden to waste a wonder slot on it. They hurt your environment, rarely are used unless going rogue, do minimal damage, and just get spied off in war. I'm at 31k NS and I'm only at 9.2% of top nations.
  2. Interstate can be a very powerful improvement depending on your spending habits. The only thing I don't like about it is you're not getting the most out of it unless you're buying infra daily. If you buy 30+ infras a day, it can earn you slightly more than Social Security.
  3. I vouch this as truth. I've lost a lot of 80% to 20% odd fights.
  4. I understand that negative side of the Great Wonder/Temple improvements, but its a nice benefit in war-time when Oktavia sports the hammer and sickle. :jihad: I'm looking at Social Security System next because the 2% tax increase will actually scale up as I gain more tech+wonders.
  5. Guerillas only add to your soldier efficiency. Pentagon adds to your total tank+soldier efficiency battle strength. So if two equal strength opponents with 1,000,000 battle-strength are slugging at it with 50% odds, the 20% battle strength would give the opponent with a Pentagon an additional 12% chance to win. If it was lopsided 1,500,000 (pentagon) to 1,000,000 (no pentagon) which is 66% to 34%, the Pentagon would make the odds 83% to 17% in final calculation. Please note my math is just speculation and probably 30% chance its correct.
  6. Right now I'm at 1.89 Enviroment with monarchy, 1 borderwall, and have 5 stars. I noticed that borderwalls don't do anything once you hit 5 stars. If I change my goverment from monarchy to capitalist, will my environment increase past 1.89 or is it once you hit 5 stars you can't go any higher?
  7. I saw that too, but I donated at the end of the month anyway to cover that. XD
  8. Time to bust out some math. 300 x 8.86 = 2658 citizens. Not sure how you only got 1000? --- Coal, Iron, Oil, Uranium. Oh my!
  9. The good. Weapon Research Center is definitely the de facto best, but the most expensive. An extra 20% more destructive military at 2k tech is just frightening. SDI is definitely the best defensive wonder overall because it provides protection against rogues and "total war" situations. Pentagon is very nice now because of the bonus it provides to defensive and offensive ground attacks. It gives you a fighting chance against nations that are bigger NS than you. Foreign Airforce Base is excellent as well. 20 extra fighters will make your nation a meat grinder. --- The bad. Anti-Air isn't that great, if you ask me, compared to the foreign air-force base. Its also very expensive compared to a FAB. Fallout Shelter… a wonder that only benefits you when you're nuked. I rather not get nuked in the first place! --- I would personally take Pentagon-> FAB-> SDI -> WRS in that order.
  10. It saves you money on your upkeep bill because the more infras you buy, the higher your upkeep bill is. So if you have 1000 infras and pay bills, you're only paying for the cost of the 1000 infras. Then you collect and buy 200 infras, you saved yourself some money. Its not much at low NS, but it can be big at high NS. Infras is $120,000 per level for me now.
  11. I bought my first wonder this week at 4999 infras. I was confused on what the Stock Market's +10 to income actually effected, but I found out. The +10 citizen income effects before you collect taxes, but it benefits from banks, schoosl, etc. mutipliers. So Stock Market is basically a +5 happiness wonder. I should of bought a Great Monument instead.
  12. Some people do this when saving for big infra jumps. They save up enough money to pay off 1 weeks worth of bills. They don't collect for 7 days. They finally pay their bills on the 8th day, collect money, and buy all the infras they need. Depending on how big an infra jump, you can save millions from upkeep bill.
  13. Your soldier count directly effects your enviroment which in turn reduces your soldier count. If you try to pump out your maximum ammount of soldiers, you're going to push yourself over the limit. What I try and do is subtract 500-1000 off my citizen count and try and add incrementally until I'm dead even on my 80% soldier:citizen count.
  14. If you don't pay your bills after 3 days, you cannot purchase anything, and can only collect to pay them off.
  15. Pentagon - $30,000,000 - The Pentagon serves as your nations headquarters for military operations. Increases attacking and defending ground battle strength +20%. Seem's quite effective now.
  16. Technology adding to money looted seems like a great idea because it scales as you grow. Does technology add to nukes as well?
  17. The +1 enviroment from Capitalist gives 1% citizens plus 0.8 happiness so its better than Monarchy if you ask me. My citizens want Monarchy though, so got to appease the masses.
  18. I've been playing CN for a little over 200 days and my alliance got into our first serious war. I took on two opponents who were equal NS, had war chests, and had every military improvement minus guerilla's. I don't understand why when we both have $13mil (spied him) and I attack with 80% to 20% odds, somehow lose, I give him $1,000,000 almost everytime. Then when I win battles I only get $150,000 from him? I've lost about $7,000,000 over a week and a half because of this battle system that makes 70% to 30% / 80% to 20% odds look like 40% to 60%. So why if I win, I get no money at all, and while I lose.. I'm throwing them more than enough to rebuy the losses inflicted?
  19. This change makes it so you have to micromanage your nation smarter. Enviroment was just a mediocre thing in the game that needed a change. Now you have to manage your soldier count, bonuses, goverments, buy land, and border walls to make gains from the losses. I notice buying 1 border wall makes me only lose 150 citizens for 0.5 increased enviroment and 3 happiness. I should have lost 1080 citizens, but the gain is better than the loss.
  20. So basically once your nation overcomes the loss of citizens, are you actually gaining a higher bonus?
  21. I've gained about 600 miles of land just from war. No complaints here. I'm really not sure if I want to collect tonight or wait a few days for the admin to finish the changes.
  22. I haven't had the opportunity to test out border walls in order to calculate the benefit. Borderwalls = 0.5 enviroment With the new change to enviroment affecting citizen count and income, how much benefit are your nations getting from them now? Is it overcoming the actual 2% loss of citizens?
  23. I lost -2 improvements and about 3 happiness. I'm at war so I can't test out borderwalls.
  24. My current resources are gems / iron and this is my current setup: Steel, Fast Food, Affluent Population, Fine Jewelry Cattle, Fish, Furs, Gold, Gems, Coal, Iron, Pigs, Sugar, Spices, Silver, Wine ---- Now I saw Fast Food, Construction, Beer. Since I have gems, I have to fill in that slot. Cattle, Pigs, Sugar, Spices, Water, Wheat, Lumber, Aluminum, Marble, Iron, Gems, Fish
