I certainly condone it, why not? Nobody gets hurt, someone just gets info. Spying is apparently bad morally but telling someone you'll do a tech deal with them or something such if they send you 3 mil and then never sending them the tech is fine. Well, I don't know about that. Of course Moo and friends always got aid when they had spots, common members did get aid too. I got some aid and I refused some aid. Well, "lol Cortath" is hard to interpret. I was just saying that if Cortath says this guy was abrasive, I believe him.

This has probably long since blown over but.. There were a number of discussion at the time (shortly before the GPA war) that there was recruitment trouble because we were not number one and that's why we were stagnating in terms of membership. But don't let facts get in the way of your argument.

Not sure what's meant by this but if Cortath said it, it has a 99% chance of being true; I've never seen him lie.

I remember FAN being worse than NPO. I remember joining NPO and attacking FAN. I remember leaving NPO. I remember FAN changing for the better. I predict FAN changing for the worse.

My last OOC ITT: It's pretty much impossible to claim that IC because..well...he's talking about being banned and doing stuff afterwords, which would of course be OOC.

OOC: Talking about IC characters in IC is different than saying "If I am going to be banned [ie, OOC], bla bla." /OOC Edit: Seems you are aware of this as Schattenmann points out lower you do it yourself. Guess you're just trying to distract then.

OOC: Good to hear NPO takes actions on the OOC front (though I did not think that was OOC but that's another matter), that's my honest opinion too. If you had thought this was IC however, you wouldn't have done anything about IOs mistreating your members, ie, see Zhadum.

If you want to be treated the way IOs treat everyone, demonstrated here by Zhadum (that is, have your posts deleted without so much as a word and then blown off, yelled at and also threatened as "attempt[ing] public defamation of opposing views" for asking why you were banned from your own channel) join NPO! And when you are long gone, they will still claim their IOs are awesome and their treatment of members is fine. Long live the Order!

This is why I love NPO. You bring up IO treatment of everyone else as crap and they blow it off with "yeah but he's just awesome."

If he never got that mask then why are your members saying he failed the exam? You can't even try the exam without it: Why don't you educate your members before you try to claim we are wrong.

Say Zeta, if 15 million isn't much, can I have some? Cadets have always been considered members, they certainly have different masks than "not NPO" and they are able to see NPO guides. I remember asking if I was a member when I was a cadet and the answer I was given is yes. This is a technicality, I suppose whichever IO told me yes thought they were members but some think otherwise. If you want to get off the topic, why don't you stop distracting with it? And I know I was a past member, how else do you think I know how this works, magic?

You mean over half a year after he was gone? Do you see us wearing a FAN mask? I give credit to Dilber for saying something (though I am 99.99% sure that nothing was done about it besides a quick IO discussion about needing to keep the sheep happy), which is more than what happens generally. Also, if it's not approved by higher-ups then why is Zhadum doing it...he's an IO, you realize this?

An applicant is someone who has not been accepted. Anyone past that is a member (including people who have not taken the exam yet, just being able to see the exam and guides means you are accepted and given a different mask). He was accepted. He was a member. He was kicked out for revealing himself to be a spy. If any FAN nation can get NPO members to send them aid, what does that say about your members? Maybe you need to step up the academy and step off the pseudo philosophical questions like "What is more important, the heart or the brain?"

Academy mask is a member mask. You can see NPO guides and everything. You can't see all the forums but once you get that mask you're a member unless you fail the exam. Stop claiming that all he had was a not NPO mask, that is an obvious lie. Bilrow, learn to read. According to your members, he was approved and he failed the exam, which is a further step.

Uh, no, not really. His Not NPO mask is after he revealed he was a spy. You cannot take the exam with that mask because you cannot see the exam or any of the supposed "study" materials with it. You get an NPO mask after you are accepted, then you take the exam. You're not a full member, but you are a member. Don't they even teach you how your own alliance works?

Depends on which subjects. Day to day, no, you weren't prohibited from asking IOs stuff. But when the subject came to something they didn't like in the slightest, all discussion had to go underground. You don't remember those long posts on the forums where their point was "by asking us to do something, particularly in front of other NPO members [like in #npowned], you're trying to force our hand and will be expelled?" They called this "respectful requests" or something, saying that anything else was treasonous. This was the case with the tech corps when it got shut down, I remember someone from that department messaging me saying that if I want it back, I should talk with IOs but not tell them that anyone asked me to. In other news, we could have included that NPO members are afraid to come into our channel (and several have been expelled for doing so). You'll admit Shodemofi that doing pretty much anything against exactly what the IOs wanted got you either expelled or yelled at in NPO - their members are scared of the IOs, which isn't the way an alliance should function.

When I was in NPO the IOs were so dissatisfied with the Tech Corps that they abolished it and everyone else had to beg to get it back, although technically that was prohibited (yes, you are not allowed to ask IOs that they make any changes because then you are just trying to force them and stuff, at least that's how they reasoned it) and people went around in private talking about it.

Pretty sure almost everyone would agree that indeed is a better future. But none of this relates to this thread, though I think it seems to be resolved - NPO won't accept reparations and so the guy is headed off to ZI but he is ok with that and plans to rebuild. I agree with RV's advice, talk to an IO - maybe you'll catch them in a good mood and they'll let you off.

NPO was not even kind enough to provide their puppets internet? What kind of life are you leading in Legion anyway..
