  1. I'm really sorry... I thought the "IDC" in the topic stood for "I Don't Care", seeing as your byline also said the same.
  2. A cool beer? Hats off to: Drai (GR) Plutarchia (GR) evilgm (OBR) whom I've fought. Good friendly fighters. Special mention to evilgm for not nuking me on the last day when peace was imminent but not yet present.
  3. GPA might actually regain sanctioned status. Amazing.
  4. Neutral menace Well, the only thing will topple the GPA will be and always has been, poor politicking. That's a "valid" statement for you!
  5. Kanto (my opponent) understands this is just a game and is keeping it cool!
  6. This is an excellent graph. But you missed the fat green GPA blip chilling somewhere...
  7. I yearn for the days when nuclear news reports during wartime would give rise to indignant threads on the Forums, with alliances ostracizing the "nuclear rogues". This time around, nukes have been flying to and fro with nary a protest I can see. Personally, I will not nuke anybody until someone fires one at me - but that promise doesn't count for a lot, since the GR nation I am attacking has already been nuked by NPO. (I staggered my declaration of war; the day I declared was the day he went into nuclear anarchy) He's likely to flail around with HIS own nukes when he finally logs on. If even one of them hits an OG nation, we will all be nuke-free, I expect.
  8. The sharper nations realized early on that there can be more than one military treaty between two alliances. Attacking in concert with an ally, and attacking an ally's attackers - these can be two separate treaties. Canceling one does not affect the other, but it does send a strong message to the cancel-ee. Brilliant political move Reyne and all that, see you on the battlefield!
  9. I suppose CCC will understand if I don't wish you guys good luck If and when I get nuked/pounded down a few ranks, I look forward to tussling with CCC.
  10. Nice post. But where would CN be without the negativity? People get bored when summer approaches, and once a critical number of nations (a small number) has gone as far as they can with traditional nation building - all wonders built, etc, there is only war.
  11. Spears HURT when they puncture a spleen...
  12. Only 0.03 before my alliance is in the running...not that we'd ever have the required membership numbers, but still.
  13. 0.15 until OLD GUARD is admitted to the sanction race. Just wait til I rebuild after eating those Vox nukes!
  14. My target was Ashenkine. He has 0 soldiers, 0 tanks, 0 ships, 0 everything. However, today at update I was able to blockade him with my navy. Is this a bug that I was able to do so? Ashenkine is under 1000 land and has no ships. EDIT: He'll have even less land after this post as I'll be launching a nuke. EDIT2: I was also able to use battle support against Ashenkine:
  15. *Ceremony pinches Scalare. Congratulations to FOK. (Also, I remember when Fark was a punching bag for GOONS to hit every now and then. How the giants have toppled.)
  16. Another 0.25 or so points more, and my 59 member alliance will get on the list! Har har. Old Guard just needs to buy more Old Navies.
  17. I dropped 25 ranks or so. Still within the top 100, so I'm not complaining...too much. (now #79 which may change if more people log in and freak out) I suspect a lot of GPA people rose in ranks, since they had no military to begin with, and all those nations which were ranked above them purely due to military now fell below. It'll be interesting to see the effect on alliance score (OG dropped from 8.89 to 8.32, while NPO dropped from 63.55 to 59.35 (damn...) Looking forward to the Great Sanction Race update
  18. There used to be so much green in the race. Now it's all under the qualifying line. In other news, my own allliance is a measly point away from passing Legion and get this- 6,000 NS away from topping GPA. Maybe I should buy more soldiers.
