    Actually, you might find and talk to Randalla of Apparatus. She has protected several different up and coming neutrals as a part of the Apparatus Project. We ourselves are graduates of Amazon Territory (the precursor to Apparatus Project).

    Good luck you. Neutrality can be a difficult path to walk at at times, but we find it very rewarding. Feel free to stop by for a cup of coffee any time.

  9. Alliances Throughout the Years

    November 2007, joined with a bunch of folk from another game who formed an alliance called Ubercon, after the game con of the same name.
    Alliance went from micro to over 100 members in a few weeks, and most of us who were staff or senior players in the other game, became government here at one point. After Randalla left to form Amazon Nation, and others got bored, the alliance sank to inactivity.
    September 2009, after much searching and looking, I left with a group of friends and joined TDO. This was right after the mess with Warbuck. Left in July 2010, want to know why, feel free to ask in private, I won't post it publically.
    Went back to Ubercon while working on founding of Pax Corvus, which DOE'd in August 2010.

    I've been neutral and peaceful since the day I started, and will be until death take me or the world end.

    I didn't like the loss of one's avatar and change over to the picture or gravatar. Not that it wasn't fixable, but it was a bit of shock and for those who come over only intermittantly, it might put on a first page a picture that people wouldn't normally see.

    New players come to CN looking for somewhere special that they can belong. Experienced players often find that the place they called home isn't anymore. In both cases, if that is you, you are alliance searching. Looking for a special place. A place that meets your needs and where you can belong.

    What are you seeking in your new home? Are you looking for an alliance that is friendly? Open? Has a place for you to grow, not just your nation, but you as a player. A place that gives everyone an equal opportunity to participate?

    Are you seeking a peaceful place? One that does not get involved in global warfare and let's you be you.
