Good luck to you all from your friends at Pax Corvus.

Congratulations.
Some of us in Pax, as from our ancestor Ubercon, came from outside already knowing each other well. It has developed a bond between us and our former protectors, now Apparatus, and now friends who come from the same ancestor alliance, that goes beyond just one online environment.
Your first year is such a milestone event, may you celebrate with lots of your choice of libations. And if you need coffee in the morning after the party, come on by, it's always available. -

Two years and some months ago a group of people had a dream. They dreamed of forming an alliance on the black team that followed the path of peace, but was open to all. Many long discussions ensued including one about why it couldn't be called the coffee shop and it's officers Baristas (it really didn't happen, but it could have happened.) Eventually, a name, a structure and a charter were decided. And two years ago today, Pax Corvus was born.
It almost didn't happen on that particular day. You see, Pax started out as a protectorate of Amazon Nation, and well, Randalla overslept (She's a night owl; Cerridwyn's a lark). But she finally woke up and Cerridwyn calmed down and the DOE was posted without a hitch.
Since then, we graduated from protectorate status, grew larger than our former protector, became that rare neutral alliance to actually sign non-military treaties, and had personal milestones to many to mention here.
So in celebration of our second birthday, we would like to invite all of you over for coffee and exotic dark chocolates. The coffee is a special roast, in honor of this day, roasted by our own Morrighan's Roasterae. It is an heirloom bean and we call the roast Dhá Caife Corvidae, in honor of this our second year. One of our cousins from the Apparatus made me this awesome new coffee maker and well, I can't wait to try it out. Hopefully it will not set the place on fire.

We want to take a moment to remember those who are still with us in spirit but who no longer walk this realm - Bullvine, our first clerk; Allelujah Haptism, Bard Extraordinaire; L0n3w0lf9k, our youngest chieftain and the first to pass from this world. Many other corvid spirits still remain in our hearts but these stand out as deserving remembrance.
And we wish to recognize those who are not a part of Pax but who contributed to our success - Randalla - we couldn't have done it without you. Ama - Rand couldn't have done it without her consort by her side. King Tower, who when times were tough, recommended us to his wife. Isolde is a wonderful women. We are proud every day to call her one of our own. Snikt of Sniktopia, may he rest in Digiterran Peace, for dragging a bunch of us kicking and screaming into this world that we have embraced. And last, but never least, Archein. We hope you have found a place that suits you. Without your diligence and hard work, Pax as we know it would not exist.
From all of us at Pax Corvus to the rest of you out in Digiterra, thank you for a great two years. Here's to two more and two more after that, ad infinitum, until the world ends.

Ravens, Crows and even Blue Jays are a member of the family of birds known as Corvids. They are a social and community oriented bird. They are very intelligent and in many primitive cultures were emissaries of the gods.
Pax Corvus is a black team alliance based loosely on the Scottish Clan system. We are a peaceful folk, who support each other and grow our nations without military involvement with other alliances. We make coffee, not war. (But if you prefer tea, that's okay too.)
