It read Whitney then read the letter out loud.
"Heh, interesting." said Lance. "Then it's possible that the letter is legit, and Miss de Blanc is currently residing within Australia. However, I'm concerned by the fact that the Australian Government does not know her exact location. If Cybil's currently in a mental institution in Australia, as the letter claims, why would her location be unknown? Records of her in the institution would surely exist, and the Australian Government could track her down immediately."

Eggman Empire
OOC:Gotta keep tabs on this more often. IC: Blyzar Dreth, who had been fairly quiet for the most of the meeting, received a phone call. After a minute or two, he put down the phone and addressed the conference. "I've just been informed by Emperor Kintober himself that Cybil de Blanc is still alive. And, to avoid any misunderstandings, we will withdraw our naval and air assets from Cyneriice Northan waters. And since we never had any troops in her nation anyway, we don't have to worry about that. Further more, I would like to point out that Eggman Empire would gain nothing from kidnapping de Blanc, therefore, the aforementioned Eggman terrorists were just that. Terrorists from Eggman Empire. We would never try to harm de Blanc or her country in any way." He stated.
A copy of the former Queen's address would be received by DNN, a national broadcaster owned by the Government. The Network immediately relayed the address to it's stations located throughout Disparu, including a DNN station serving St. Mystere and its surrounding areas. The address was shown on a large display in the CAN's debate chamber. Lance and the other Disparuean representative remained silent as he watched the address. The former Queen talked about ordeals she went through after her mysterious disappearance, her current condition, and her sentiments about the current condition of Cyneriice Northan. Lance spoke up as soon as the address was over. "Heh. That should clear up any doubts about that letter, then. Cybil is still alive in Australia. Hopefully, she's in good condition." said Lance. "Though I'm a bit surprised that she ended up in Australia after disappearing in the Arctic nearly two years ago." "Anyways, we should consider the letter, as well as her address, as official commandments from the Northanic Throne." he continued. "The CAN has already occupied Cyneriice Northan and is upholding law and order. Should we set up a tribunal, or something similar, to prosecute those who overthrew Queen Alysandra and her government?" "In the meantime, we should increase our efforts in searching for Queen Alysandra. After all, Miss de Blanc will most likely be unable to return to her former position for a while, and Queen Alysandra is the only person who's able to legally occupy the Northanic Throne." Zoot Zoot
No such action should be taken Sir. With respect, we have relative peace at the moment and placing a foreign tribunal will cause more harm than good. and placing a tribunal incharge of a nation in civil war is also a bad idea, chances are they tribunal will be made up of one party or the other. The alternative is to remain in control, leave what Governence there is, as it is at the moment. And when Queen Cybil is fit to return to the throne the CAN forces launch an attack on both warring parties to quell any resistance, leaving the path open for her to claim the throne. Once the throne is claimed, we remain in Northan until such a time the coffee shortage is well and truley over and begin setting up regular coffee supplies into Northan to ease any tensions that remain. Zoot Zoot
Apologies, again, with respect. Searching the bay will not work now. If she is still on the water then she is dead. We must begin search all islands, and coasts inland as far as 10 miles. If she is alive at the point, she is on dry land, not the open ocean. Weeks without food or wawter is usually fatal. Californian
**Classified to CAN Members** Due to a recent agreement with our ally the Kingdom of Cochin, a SOSUS line is currently being set up to span the Labrador Sea as shown here: This SOSUS line will be a great asset for the CAN because it will provide valuable information about enemy ship and submarine movements and other irregularities. Due to its location in the Labrador Sea any enemies would have to cross it to reach members states. As such, we request that the CAN help cover the costs of laying and maintaining the SOSUS line. CAN nations would have access to all information and would be allowed to help man the monitoring stations. A monitoring station is being constructed in Kujalleq, Northern Republic on one end and we request that Disparu build another monitoring at the other end. If the costs cannot be covered we can do so ourselves.

Pikachurin
"In other news, I'd like to revive an old idea which has been brought up before." said the Disparuean representative. "We should seriously work on getting Tahoe to voluntarily transfer their Arctic protectorates to the CAN. After all, it's a win-win situation for everyone. The people of the Arctic protectorates will be ruled by a government closer to them, the CAN will be able to project it's power better in the Arctic, and Tahoe won't have to spread it's soldiers and resources across a large area. Thoughts?"

Cybil de Blanc
BAM! The Northanic Queen, Alysandra Lacroix, stood with one hand on the slammed-open door, leaning against in a stereotypically "cool" fashion. "Did somebody call for...DIPLOMACY?!!" Alysandra slicked back her hair with one hand, then turned around and moonwalked backwards into the room. She bobbed her head to an invisible beat as she did, then grabbed a chair and hopped into it. Whipping a sheet of paper out of the inside pocket of her royal robe, the Northanic Queen slid it across the table, revealing an extensive plan on a diplomatic mission to Tahoe. "For our 'too-long-didn't-read' version," said Alysandra, "I come bearing gifts and being all smiley and happy. One of my friends speaks Irish Gaelic, so he's coming along as a fellow diplomat, hurr hurr. I make small talk, compliment the Big Cheese, then make my proposal. Once everything is said and done, regardless of the outcome (except being thrown out of the palace, of course) - " Alysandra pulled out the packaging of a very familiar, very dance-oriented video game....
