Citizens of the Reich celebrate, holding the historic flag of Germany Berlin -- After months of fierce fighting, the forces of Slavoism, otherwise known of SlavoRussia, have succumbed to the superior forces of the Nordic Confederacy. After the announcement, citizens of the Reich ran into the streets, in celebration. In honour of this victory, the government has declared this day an official holiday, known as Victory in the East Day. Massive celebrations are scheduled to continue throughout the week, ending with a massive parade in Berlin and Moscow. Berlin -- Today, Kaiser Scolar Visari formally announced the formation of the Reich Ministry for the Occupied Eastern Territories (Reichsministerium für die besetzten Ostgebiete). This ministry was created to control the vast areas captured by German forces in Russia. It is the responsibility of the Reich Minister for the Occupied Eastern Territories to legislate for the newly occupied territories under his jurisdiction. To lead this new Reich Ministery, the Kaiser has appointed Dr. Armin Metrac. He will take over responsibilities, immediately. Just hours after the announcement, ReichMinister Armin Metrac appointed Erich Hulder as ReichKommisar of the civilian administration of Reichskommissariat Moskau. The ReichKommisar is responsible for the whole administration of his territory and answers directly to the Reichministerium für die besetzten Ostgebiete. Propaganda piece have been found guilty in the German People's Court. The Reich Security Bureau first arrested these men in a daring early morning raid. The suspects were found creating more anti-German documents for use in "Anti - German Rebellion". In Court, these criminals were charged with inciting anger against the German people, inciting rebellion, and the murder of three German soldiers, who were on leave from their Military base in Moskau. All men have been sentenced to 25 years hard labor in Russian oil fields. When asked to comment on the case, Reich Justice Minister only replied: "Let this serve as a warning to all those, who dare stand against the state." Heil Reich Justice! Berlin -- Today, the Kaiser announced the formal annexation of the former AWS territories into the Reich. After announcing the annexation, the Kaiser announced the region would be considered an autonomous and largely self-governing subnational entity of the Greater German Reich. Leading the new government, will be a Reichskommissar, who is gubernatorial chief executive as head of the region and head of government. SIC: The Reichskommissar of the AWS Administration Region has ordered the deployment of additional Ordnungspolizei and Reich Security Bureau forces to ensure security and to quell possible uprisings. This new tank codenamed Standard-Panzer Lite will cost about three times less than the German Panzer VII tanks. They will be exported to Nordic allies, who are looking for a cheap and well protected tank, other than the Panzer VII. Military Developments: In the East, German fortifications similar to the ones set up in Germany proper are being established. These systems will be developed along the SlavoRussian and Eastern Nordic Protectorate borders and will contain the usual anti-personnel/anti armor fortifications. A three tier air defense network will be established as well, with low/medium and high altitude Surface to air Missiles. Afterwards, Kaiser Visari praised the construction and economic efforts of the nation. - The economy of the Greater German Reich continues to grow. With the vast resources we have available in the East, we no longer depend on the world to supply our nation. - Our construction efforts continue to amaze the world. The Rugel Paradise Resort is near completion and soon we will be constructing a high-speed rail network throughout the Reich. Visari ended the speech with a promise to world peace. - I shall do everything within my power to make sure Europa has everlasting peace. Secret IC The High Command of the Armed Forces has ordered a massive re-organization of the Wehrmacht. A team of strategist will be looking at ways to improve the military's logistical efforts and military doctrine. All reforms are scheduled to be completed within the next couple of months. In addition, the military will begin constructing pill boxes and various other anti-tank fortificatons in the Nordic Confederacy Eastern Protectorate. LeVentNoir Posted May 9, 2009 Report Share Posted May 9, 2009 We severely doubt the ability for your nation to have the work force to grow and mine all that is needed to "no longer depend on the world to supply our nation", even without the extra workforce to provide processing of harvests, secondary and tertiary functions of economy on the materials. Add to this the massive militarization present in your nation along with what seems to be now the halting of exports, (as those bring in money to supply your nation) and you have shot your self in the economic foot. People really don't realize just how much rubber is needed in the modern world. OOC: Let's see.. Germany has Uranium. In the cold war it was third largest producer after the USA and Canada. Production was 38 t of uranium in 2007. I control Romania..which has Uranium. I control Hungary..which has Uranium. Also with Rubber, I could easily produce synthetic rubber. These forces will act as garrison forces to fend off any invasion. - The Wehrmacht will demobilize 210,000 troops. These forces will be placed on the reservist list. They will be called up for training three weeks out of every month. - To compensate for less troops on active duty, the Reich will be reorganized into three military districts. These forces will be placed on the reservist list. They will be called up for training three weeks out of every month - In addition to the ground deployments in the East, the Luftwaffe will deploy two squadrons of multi-role fighters, three squadrons of air superiority fighters to the Eastern Nordic Protectorate. These will be supported by AWAC which will patrol 24/7 - Border defenses in the East are nearing completion and the three tier RADAR network is nearly complete. The network will be a combination of mobile and static phased arrays. Most of the missiles will be of the mobile variety. - The Wehrmacht will begin to deploy anti-personnel and anti-tank mines along the Eastern Nordic Border regions.
