DEFCON 1 ANNOUNCEMENT OF SURRENDER Under the terrible guidance of @firingline, the biggest failure of a King ever known to the world of CyberNations, DEFCON 1 has fallen from greatness. Cracks have formed in the ranks of this once great alliance. Wars were fought valiantly with grit and honor, but alas, it wasn't enough. @Xavi Guarneros, the primary opponent of DEFCON 1 this round, has caused DEFCON 1 to collapse. Our fearless leader, Hershicus, has been run from the game. Hershicus apparently does have a fear, and that fear is an endless stream of Xavi multis. Xavi, you win. DEFCON 1 hereby surrenders to you and simultaneously disbands. Our members' hearts are heavy, but this is the correct decision. The Great Qablaq Order is an alliance of nations of all types, that want to establish a great and thriving nation in their continent. All nations are welcome regardless of their government type (Communist, Fascist, Democratic,...). Despite this alliance is mostly of African nations, all nations from all continents are welcome. Hello, my name is TheRedSoviet and I have made this account not so long ago but I myself am a player of almost a year on cybernations.This is my third nation I have made so far.My nation and my alliance have only been made today so anyone reading this, keep it also in mind.Anyone questioning me about donations, I have no means for anything like this at the moment.Regardless of this, more to read below. NOTE:If you see the title and do not like it, please stop reading and go back.If you like it, please proceed reading. I have this idea to make an alliance named after the most known communist country, the soviet union, of course.I cannot however have a proper alliance without first recruiting and posting on the CN forum.For the moment, I am looking for nations ranging from the most moderate in strength to the ones with nuclear cabilities.If you think you got what it takes, send me a quick message and you will get a reply anytime during the day.With that being said, I made a little guide to explain 3 topics in detail: the purpose of the alliance, trade circles and becoming a part of it. Part 1:The purpose of this alliance The purpose of this alliance is not the most difficult nor the most complex:building a strong alliance with a pleasant atmosphere where everybody would understand and co-operate with eachother.The alliance is set to be like the soviet union, in this case a classless alliance where everybody is equal and helps his next of kin or neighbour the same way they would treat themselves and which is ruled by a head of state whom is a member of the one and only communist party in the whole country.This also means to contribute to the cause, if any member of the alliance gets attacked, it is considered an attack on the whole alliance.If any member is in need of foreign aid or any other help, he should be helped, but no player is meant to abuse the foreign aid system for his own needs and selfishness.The alliance will only retaliate if being provoked by any means.With this part explained, time to explain the next one. Part 2:Trade circles I will be very clear on this, if anyone were to join any trade circle, they need to be able to produce 2 specific resources and only trade within the trade circle itself, not outside. I already came up with a first trade circle in the following order: Player 1-Uranium and Iron Player 2-Lead and Oil Player 3-Lumber and Marble Player 4-Gold and Jewelry Player 5-Aluminium and Rubber Player 6-Fish and Pig This trade circle has a few advantages that can prove to be extremely good at one point:Increasing the income generated by citizens, having a higher population, lower infrastructure cost, etc. (If you want to know the full advantages, check the CN Index by yourself). http://www.cybernations.net/about_topics.asp#Tax_Rate Just as I previously mentioned, trade circles are meant to be 6 nations trading with one another thus having a trade circle.It is recommended to participate in a trade circle but it is up to the user to choose if he wants to participate or not.With this part explained, here is the last one: Part 3: Becoming a member of the alliance In order to become a full member of the alliance, you need a few small details checked: 1-You must not be involved in any aggressive wars (A war started by yourself), you must not own any debt to any alliance, prior and after coming here and if your the victim of a defensive war, you may become a member.You must understand that declaring war after joining the alliance without my consent is an automatic ejection. 2-Helping your next of kin means to give him a hand during hard times, if any nation needs your help to defend themselves or have alot of bills to pay, don't stand there and stare at them like a statue.Go up and give them a hand.I'm everyone appriciates when they are given a hand with anything. 3-The Soviet Union is an alliance which seeks diplomatic means to solve any cases but will engage only if provoked by any means of war. To wrap everything up, If you think you got what it takes to be a comrade, be sure apply from today in the alliance.Your request may be accepted like denied.You may send me a message at the forum or in CN (my username is TheRedSoviet). A plea to micros every where From the ramblings of a delusional being. As a micro it is very difficult to recruit members. After all who in there right mind wants to join a start up or micro Alliance. When you get better start up aid, Direct access to tech deals and TC's and rarely be concerned with being attack because your in a top/med tier Alliance. Tho there are benefits to being in a micro, you will have more freedom to have wars. large established Alliances have very strict rules regarding warfare. This can also create disadvantage, the next big war could be around the corner. And you'll be there never having experienced war. This would also negatively impact your Alliances war efforts. The problem only being compounded by the number of nations in the Alliance that has never fought a war. I once frowned on "join for peace" tactics. But that's all in good aslong as i don't want to grow my Alliance. My current wars were my 1st attempt at this tactic. If i were to be honest, this tactic won't be used again for recruitment. The potential for misadventure is to high to risk. So i wish to try a totally new approach . And that is to extend a hand of friendship and respect to offer mergers with any and all micro Alliances. All decisions must be discussed between the 2 members with the Emperor being able to make the final call.. In cases of emergency, the Emperor may make a decision without consulting the Regent but he must confer with them both as soon as possible. If the Emperor is absent, the Regent may make a decision without consulting the Emperor so long as the Regent informs the Emperor upon his return Section 2: Removal and Replacement of the Emperor If the performance of the Emperor is found lacking due to mismanagement or lack of presence, a vote may be held to replace the Emperor. The participants in the vote will be the Regent and all 4 Pixels. In order for the Emperor to be replaced, both Regent and 3 Pixels must vote for it. Only the Regent has the right to claim the throne. Section 3: Government Responsibilities 1. To ensure the strength and well being of the alliance. 2. To help counsel and encourage new nations on their growth. 3. To create a fun and enjoyable atmosphere where people make friends as well as discuss game issues. 4. To work towards building a strong and stable influence in CN politics. 5. To foster and nurture friendly relations with our allies both in peace time and war. 6. To provide military support to all nations in TsD as well as all allies we hold treaties with. Section 4: Rules and Regulations Breaking any of the following rules or regulations will result with you being brought before the Emperor and Regent for possible disciplinary action or expulsion. Tech raiding is not allowed under any circumstances. Declaring war on a nation without prior authorization during peace time is not allowed. All tech deals must be completed as agreed upon by all parties involved. All members are required to follow the wonder outline. All members must be on the Yellow team. Any members posts on the CN forums must be respectful of those involved. Section 5: Membership Article 1: Privilege of Membership Having a membership to TsD is a privileged and should be treated as such. All members are required to follow TsD rules and regulations as well as stay active on the forums to maintain their membership. TsD is a privileged and should be treated as such. Article 2: Rights as a Member All members are guaranteed the right to protection provided by fellow alliance members and allies. If the member needs protection due to their own action which breaks any TsD rules or regulations, this right is null and void. Every member has the right to take part in all programs ran by the alliance as long as they meet the program's set requirements. All members are guaranteed the right to express their opinions, whether positive or negative about the alliance's inner and outer workings so long as they do so in a respectful manner. Name calling or use of abusive language makes this right null and void. Any member accused of breaking any rules or regulations has the right to defend themselves before the Emperor and Regent before receiving any disciplinary actions. If they disagree with the decision, they may appeal to the 4 Pixels. 3 Pixels must agree against the Emperor's and Regents decision for it to be revoked. Section 6: Allegiance Article 1: Alliance Comes First All members acknowledge and accept that the alliance as a whole comes before any individual nation. No treaties may be entered into that could put TsD's sovereignty at risk. Article 2: Allies All allies are to be treated as if they are one and the same as TsD. The well being of their nations is just as important as the well being of our own. If called upon, TsD will go to war to defend an ally as if itself has been declared upon. TsD promises to keep in close contact with her allies and work to build a friendly and long lasting relationship at all times. Section 7: Declaration and Execution of War Article 1: Acceptable DOW Reasons Attacks made against a member with the opposing alliance refusing to resolve the issue peacefully. An alliance poses itself as a threat to TsD's sovereignty over its own nations. A nation is caught sending spies to a members nation with the approval of their alliance's government. An alliance is caught actively poaching TsD members. A rogue nation has declared on a member state. Article 2: Approval of War Individual wars may be approved by the Emperor,Regent or Pixel of Destruction. Alliance wide wars must be approved unanimously by the Emperor, the Regent and the Pixel of Destruction. Article 3: Use of Nuclear Weapons Nuclear weapons are not allowed to be used unless the other alliance involved in the war uses them first. Or the Emperor, the Regent and the Pixel of Destruction orders deployment of nuclear weapons. Section 8: Disciplinary Proceedings Article 1: Minor Infractions All minor infractions will be handled with a warning. In the event that a minor infraction is commited twice by the same member, (even if they are not the same infraction) the consequences may be those of a moderate infraction, depending on the ruling of the Emperor. Article 2: Moderate Infractions A moderate infraction will be handled with a warning and a possible suspension from participating in any alliance backed programs. It could also result with a suspension from the message boards. In the event that a moderate infraction is commited twice by the same member, (even if they are not the same infraction) the consequences may be those of a severe infraction. Article 3: Severe Infractions Severe infractions will result in removal from the alliance and possibly an attack, depending on what the consequences were of your infraction. Nations removed for a severe infraction will not be allowed to return. Section 9: Amendments Amendments can be made to this charter when it is deemed necessary. I really think team senators ought to have a limit on repeat representation, or there should be a limit on the number of senators from a single alliance that can hold their position, or maybe add 3 more senator positions... same old same old just gets boring

Greetings to all my fellow Cybernations players, I was looking for us to come together to create an alliance without boundaries and without rulers. By this, I mean to say an alliance where, yes, there is a head, but the "chief" of the alliance will not be breathing down your neck 24/7, nor will his puppet ministers report your activity to the alliance overlord. By this, I mean an alliance where every single member counts and does something valuable for the alliance. By this, I mean a group of people with a positive attitude able and willing to be helpful, constructive, and cheerful, who are not afraid to stand up for one another, and fight for one another, and follow one another, NOT A LEADER. I also seek a respectful group, that despite having such liberty, will not use their freedom to harass and attack other innocent nations, because in this alliance, we seek to be constructive, never destructive, unless called upon by defense. We need to be a group of people that really care about one another and the game. We need a vision, a movement, and a passion never seen nor matched until we came along. We need daily, if not hourly communication among ourselves, we need to be ready to have each other's backs, and we must be able to educate the new players, whom are seeking a purpose. We can be, we must be that purpose. Too long, I feel, alliances have been a political joke, the many members, who should be the moving parts, mere decorations. You're here, and you're here, and that's about all you mean to the alliance, a sort of dead weight, an unimportant luggage. I will not write a constitution here and now. That will contradict everything I am trying to do. If I get a reasonable group to stand behind me and follow my word, we may write and work on a constitution together and make choices together, because that's what an alliance should do and should be: a literal "one for all and all for one." I do, however, do have a plan for name, but this can alter according to our united views. Check it out: "The Syndicate of Diplomatic States" The "SDS" Do know this name is NOT set in stone, and is flexible for change if we so intend to.

I've made dozens of CN accounts over the last 5 years and I eventually grew apathetic from all of them. My problem was that I wasn't engaged enough, because I wasnt in an alliance. I returned back to my 400 something day account today, and it has a Marxist-Lennist communist feel to it. Instead of creating an alliance I'd like to join one with a lot of players and is very prosperous. Anybody got anything? I kinda have OCD, so if you have a goofy or silly name, bad spelling or grammar, etc I won't join. I like formal stuff based on real world things (ex: Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, or Soviet Union). Another thing, the name has to be fictional. Cant be copied from real world. I sound kinda picky but I just want to be engaged and not have to leave again. My country is in somewhat of a mess, not too bad tho. I just need support while at the same time roleplay. I'm really into the "expanding your empire even if it makes you bloody corrupt" thing. If age even remotely matters and affects your decision, I'm 15, from NY. I will be very active, participating and loyal. Thanks guys.
