The people inside the van lurched as the driver spun the vehicle so the van doors were facing the traffic jam. It screeched to a halt just short of crashing into a car that had just got stuck in the traffic jam. The Smilers and their cargo hurried out and ran in between the cars to escape. Just as the police caught up to the van, the thing exploded violently. The explosion and plume of smoke obscured the vision of the police for a minute or two, and once it cleared, all they could see was a mass of panicked civilians fleeing the area. The Smilers and Alex blended in with the scared citizens perfectly.

"$%&@!" one of the police officers yelled as he slammed on the breaks, getting rear ended by his buddies in the process, and then let out a string of swearing when the smoke cleared.
-------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile, at W 27th street:

The ice cream van pulled into the opened garage of a house. Two LTG operatives opened the door, shoved the bounded and gagged Grace out and then forced her into a police van replica before slamming the doors closed. The fake police van then pulled out of the driveway and resumed its journey.

The Smilers and their target hauled tail, scurrying down various ally-ways to avoid further detection by the cops. When they had gone a far-enough stretch, they paused to catch their breath. Gary was unhappy that they had "rescued" the father and not the daughter, but there was nothing he could do about it. He walked over to the man, sidearm in hand and asked "You are Alex Hamas, correct?"

"Yes sir. Who are you folks anyways?" Alex Hamas replied.
--------------------
Meanwhile:

The fake police van entered one of LTG's several hideouts. The hideout had an unusually heavy amount of security; the LTG knew that the "party crashers" were dead set on capturing Grace and were well trained, therefore, a large number of armed guards would compensate for the inferior training/experience.

If the Happy Smilers or their buddies wanted to capture Grace Hamas, they would have to fight at least ten dozens of LTG guards and two dozens of LTG special operatives.

Leaf Corporation would receive an anonymous ransom delivery within an hour later. Pay 1.5 billion dollars or never see Grace Hamas again.

OOC: Sry, been a bit busy lately.

RP: "We-" Gary said, turning his attention to Alex. "-Are you and your daughter's ticket outta here." He said. "That Sigma dude or whoever isn't responding, so they're either dead or compromised. Doc, you take Alex and make tracks to the train yard. Find a nice hidy hole for the both of you and wait. If we don't contact you in three hours, take Alex and hop the next freight out of town." He turned to Oliver. "You and me are going to retrieve that girl. I think I know where the LTG is hiding." The group split, and now it was just Alex and Oliver vs the LTG, the cops, and the Leaf Corp. Seemed like fair enough odds.

In Leaf Corporation's HQ:

Video tape mailed to Leaf Corporation:

We have Grace Hamas. We know that you know that Christa is gone. Grace is the only one left that may have the precious cancer-killing tissue that you want.

We want two billion dollars within 72 hours, starting at midnight today. All must be in cash and left at W Polk St. There will be several parking brown train cars that are painted with symbols with neon green paint. Load the cash into the train cars. After 72 hours, Grace Hamas will in one of the same train cars.

Do not screw with us.

"FOR $%&@S SAKES!" Tommy Equir roared

"It's the LTG. Three of our moles in their little gang reported that they have spotted Grace Hamas in one of their hideouts and know that a ransom had been put against us." Hered Ique replied.

"I will not bleed money like a hemophiliac break dancing on a bed of nails. I want the police on their rear end. We got friends in the police force don't we?"

"FPA and Chicago Police Department as always, ever since years ago."

"Good. Tell them what LTG was up to and that we need Grace Hamas alive and in our custody."

"This is SWAT Hostage Rescue Unit 5th Squad. We are standing on the rooftop of the suspect building. Breach perimeter?"

"Breach when I start counting from ten to one. There will be additional squadrons also storming the building, so check your fire." the 89th SWAT company leader replied.

"Understood sir." the 5th squad sergeant replied. The three other SWAT operatives checked their M4 Carbine, ensuring that the magazines were fully loaded and the safeties were off.

-Few minutes later-

"Countdown starting now" the 89th SWAT company leader announced. All of the SWAT squads readied to breach.

Ten...

In the LTG's hideout:

"Steve, do you have three?" a LTG card player asked.

"Go fish."

"God dammit, I have 19 cards..." one of the card players grumbled as he pulled yet another card from the pile.

Four...

"OMFG! I JUST REALIZED I HAS A TWO TWOS!" a slightly moronic card player shouted as he laid down his last two cards and stood up...

One!

"I'm the luckiest person alive!" The moronic card player shouted as a door to the rooftop blew off its hinges from an explosion and flew over the card playing table, smashing into the lucky/unlucky moron's private part and pushed the person onto the concrete ground. "Noooo, mah manly part..." he moaned just before being silenced with a 5.56x45mm NATO bullet in the forehead.

The other four card players were caught off guard and attempted to pull out their pistols and Remington 870 pump-action shotguns, but were mowed down by the SWAT operatives' gunfire.

Chaos ensued in the "hideout" as dozens of SWAT operatives stormed the building.

Gary and Oliver observed the raid from a distance and were quite unhappy about it. "FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUU-" Gary was about to say when Oliver stopped him.

"Lets just wait and see if they find anyone. If they do, we'll just have to figure out how to get to her." Oliver countered. Gary sighed and nodded.

"Right you are. While we wait, look for the most likely vehicle they'd escort her in." Gary muttered sullenly. Frankly he was damn sick of the whole thing. If his superiors didn't want the girl so badly, he would've just said 'screw it.' But Gary knew the last thing he wanted to do was piss off his boss. They would catch the girl or die trying.

Inside the "hideout":

Multiple furious battles broke out in the hideout. The CPD's SWAT had an upper hand in surprise and training, though they soon found themselves outnumbered by about one to two. The "hostage" room's door was blown open from a grenade blast and the LTG operatives inside were stunned with multiple stun/flash grenades. Most of them hit the ground, though they didn't last long from multiple sprays of gunfire from a SWAT squad. Grace Hamas was inside an enclosed cell during the commotion, well aware of what was going on despite not being able to see through the steel walls and door.

"This is SWAT Hostage Rescue Unit 5th Squad, we found the target. We need a cell cutting squad, they have her locked up." the Sargent radioed.

"The 45th Tech Squad will be down at your position within a few minutes. Hold your position."

"Understood."

"THEY BREACHED THE HOSTAGE ROOM! STOP THEM!" a LTG guard screamed.

"Ah !@#$, TAKE COVER!" one of the SWAT squad's operatives yelled as he dove behind a toppled table. The other two SWAT operatives (including the Sargent) did the same thing. The last operative was too slow to react and was torn to bits as nearly a dozen of LTG guards stupidly charged into the room with the Uzis and AK-47s spraying everywhere. Another SWAT operative was killed, she was shot in the neck repeatedly by a concentrated burst of gunfire when the bullets penetrated the table she was hiding behind.

The last two operatives blindly-sprayed their M4 Carbines with only their hands exposed, gunning down 11 of the LTG operatives. Unlucky for the SWAT operatives, the lone surviving LTG guard had a Milkor MGL in his hands, and was not happy. "Die you $%&@faces!" he screamed as he sprayed six grenades randomly throughout the smoldering ravaged room. The tables offered little protection from direct grenade hits and blew the two SWAT operatives away.

"Echo is being overrun, the enemy had brought in reinforcements! Retreat back to Bravo and Alpha positions until reinforcements arrive. If retreat is not possible, bunker down!" the battered radio crackled shortly before being stomped and crushed by the still pissed-off LTG guard.
----------------------------------------------------
Outside of the hideout:

The SWAT did not expect the LTG to bring in seven dozens of meatshields, erm, new members, to extract Grace Hamas. Although the reinforcements were even worse than the LTG guards or operatives, they still packed a brutal punch in large numbers.

Three LTG newbies fighters and a slightly more experienced fighter raced down the sidewalk past the HS's vehicle toward the hideout due to insufficient amount of readily available vehicles to transport all of the reinforcements to the site. The squad captain noticed something odd about the two people inside, the two faces seemed so familiar before. He signaled "halt" with his right hand and walked toward the Happy Smilers' vehicle to take a closer look with his AK-47 raised and pointed at the two people.

Meanwhile, in the background, additional SWAT vehicles are heard approaching with their sirens whining.

Emergency transmission from MR Coast Guard to Department of Defense:

A stealth submarine had evacuated several suspects and a hostage, Christa Hamas. They had attempted to flee on boat and were ambushed by a fleet of unmarked helicopters loaded with unknown operatives. They were not identified as any soldiers or SWAT operatives. Nevertheless, all of them were killed when the boat sunk and their helicopters were destroyed by the stealth submarine.

We have no means of detecting a stealth submarine. Stop it from leaving this country ASAP.

Throughout the Great Lakes' canal locks:

All of the stations received notifications to shut down.
-------------------------------------
In Chicago, outside of the "hideout":

The LTG squad captain signaled, "surround" and the three less experienced fighters sprinted toward the HS's vehicular and surrounded the two Happy Smilers. "Step out of your vehicle, do not force us to use violence!" the captain ordered.
-------------------------------------
Inside the "hideout":

A LTG newbie armed with a Barret .50 caliber sniper rifle was running around and mutting "Just pwning some stupid SWAT while looking for my squad."

He then hopped over a crate and a SWAT sniper was lying down on the steel walkway inside a very large storage room, occasionally firing at LTG reinforcement fighters, guards and operatives. "Oh look at this guy, I don't even need the scope!" the LTG newbie thought to himself as he fired at the SWAT sniper, who was about a meter away.

-Gunshot-

Bullet flies over the SWAT sniper and hits the opposite side of the room

"Fail"

-Gunshot-

Bullet punches through the walkway, missing the SWAT sniper by about two meters to the right

"Fail..."

-Gunshot-

Bullet misses the SWAT sniper by about three meters to the left, the sniper rotates his head and looks toward the where the bullets went through the walkway and begin to get up after pulling out a combat knife

"Fail!"

-Gunshot-

Bullet misses the SWAT sniper and slams into the walkway a little less than a meter in front of the sniper as the he begin to charge toward newbie LTG fighter

"Aaahhhh!" the newbie shouted as he was stabbed in the right arm and then in the left, yanked, thrown off the walkway, and fell six stories down. As he fell to his death, he said; "$%&@ my life."

Federal Illinois Court on March 6th, 2011; Christa vs Mercy Health System, Douglas Hugo, and Leaf Corporation:

Douglas stood up and spoke; "Christa vs Mercy Health System and Leaf Corporation trial has begun. The accuser demanded at least 50% of the anti-cancer medicine profit from Leaf Corporation and a total of $600,000 from Mercy Health System and her former lawyer, Douglas Hugo, for misleading her. The defendant stated that they did not have to pay her as they had the right to evoke eminent domain and . The defendant proceed first." the judge said after banging the gravel.

"Thank you, your honor. According to Law 569120, organizations and businesses that received government funding are entitled to Eminent Domain. Organizations that have purchased a property or service from the government funded organizations are also entitled limited Eminent Domain over such property or service.

Mrs. Hamas willing and knowingly donated samples of her tissue to be used in commercial uses to Mercy Health System. MHS had sold the tissue samples and property rights to Leaf Corporation. LC had also patented needed genes. However, the tissue samples had somehow became contaminated and MHS did not have any additional tissue that LC needed. As a result, LC evoked Eminent Domain and Mrs. Hamas refused to turn over tissue samples and disappeared.

The only person that possibly had the same set of the needed genes is Grace Hamas, the daughter of Mrs. Hamas. If Miss. Grace had the same needed genes, then her cells are considered the property of Leaf Corporation. However, we can not confirm it by performing a harmless test as she had also gone missing.

Without the tissue, a potent anti-cancer medication will never be produced, and that will result in billions of extra medical costs due to the need of significantly more expensive yet less effective treatments and millions of lost lives in the long run. I am now done." before sitting back down.

"Accuser may proceed now." the judge replied.

Garman stood and and said; "Section Thirteen of Article Six in the Midwest Republic Constitution stated that any ownership of humans is prohibited. Mrs and Miss Hamas's cells are not complete humans, but they are human cells and they form a major part of the two people. Therefore, MHS's and Leaf Corporation's ownership on the cells is illegal.

Mrs. Hamas did donate her tissue, only once during her cancer treatment. She was then told by her doctor, Mitch Chrichten, that he needed to perform additional tests after she was cured. Those tests were not actually tests, merely tissue harvesting. Eventually Mrs. Hamas did discover what was going on when she found samples of her tissue in her workplace, Leaf Corporation, inside the freezers. She also signed consent forms, except for one that allowed the commercialization of her tissue and denying all profits to her. However, MHS defended their actions by stating that any cells that leave a patient's body no longer belong to the patient.

As an analogy of MHS defending their actions, lets say that I was photographed without my consent and the photographer proceeds to sell it to a couple advertisers and magazine publishers. Yes, the picture was taken by the photographer, but it should belong to me, as I was in the picture. Therefore, I have the right to order the photographer to delete the picture or face a lawsuit if he or she dares to send it off to advertisers and magazine publishers. T

he same logic should be applied to patients as well. If I was told by a doctor that one of my kidneys need to be removed and shortly after being removed, the doctor realized that the kidney did not need to be removed. If I wanted my kidney back, I have the right to have it put inside of my again at free of charge instead of the doctor charging me a few dozen thousands of dollars for it.

Her lawyer, formerly Douglas Hugo, had also lied to her as MHS had feed him cash. According to the Law 133709, lawyers can be charged with misleading victims if they purposely lied or held information from their client. They would also have to pay for at least the full cost of their incompetence.

As an analogy, if a dealership claimed that a certain car had 60 MPG at 55 mph if well maintained, I expect the MPG to be around 60, not sit at 1 MPG and guzzle fuel like mad. If the dealership give me a replacement or full refund, I have the right to sue the dealership for misleading me.

Leaf Corporation shouldn't have been allowed to patent genes, that goes for all other businesses and individuals as well. Genes already exist in nature. They were created before the first humans existed.

As an analogy, the logic of patenting genes is as logical as patenting iron or water, then declaring all of them and anything that used the iron or water as the property of the patent holder, and then suing anything and everyone that fail to pay the patent holder royalty fees for "illegally" using iron or water."

Garman then sat down.

"30 minutes recess as the jury will need time to come to a conclusion." the judge ordered as he banged the gravel.
------------------------
30 minutes later:

"Court session resumed. Jury may now state their decisions." the judge said after banging the gravel.

"Innocent."

"Guilty."

"Innocent."

"Guilty."

"Innocent."

"Guilty."

"Innocent."

"Guilty."

"Innocent."

"Guilty."

"Innocent."

"Guilty."

Pause

"Guilty."

"The jury has ruled in favor of Christa Hamas. Mercy Health System and Douglas Hugo are to pay Christa at least $600,000 and Leaf Corporation must pay at least 50% profit of the anti-cancer medicine sales.

The gene patenting is a ridiculous idea. Not only it goes against the patent laws, but also logic. Some might say it would protect the investors. But I see it as a massive floodgate for abuse and there are better ways of protecting a genetic research.

The idea of individuals and non-government organizations having eminent domain is also against the Constitution as it had never stated that private individuals and organizations can take each others' property at whim.

The idea of stating that a person loses right of ownership over his or her tissue once it leaves the body is also ridiculous. As Mr. Garman stated, if someone takes a picture of me, I have the right to force that person to delete it.

Trial dismissed. Next!" the judge stated before pounding the gravel.

Gary looked at the approaching LTG grunts, then at Oliver. Oliver did the same and nodded. "Time to crash another party." Oliver muttered with a feral grin. The two Smilers leaped out of the vehicle at the same time; blasting at the LTG soldiers. Four heads disappeared in a shower of gore as the large caliber round from their D'eagles hit their marks. The two rolled into kneeling positions and swept the area for more targets. Seeing none, they stood up and quickly stripped the dead LTG members of their weapons. With that road block out of their way, the two smilers made their way to the warehouse and sneaked inside. Maybe they'd get lucky and run across the girl while she was being moved.
---------
Doc looked at his watch, then at a freight as it lumbered by. He and Alex had picked an old tool shack in the middle of the busy train yard to hide in. It had been an hour and a half since they'd been waiting. Soon Doc would have to pick a train and hop it with Alex to get out of the city. Though Doc had found out which line would take them out of the country and bring them near a safe house where a pick-up could be arranged, he'd rather not leave without his companions. However, he had full faith that they could find their own way out and that all of them would make it back to Eggman Empire. Until then, he waited.
----------
"Fire." The captain of the Viperfish stated. The sub shuddered as a HE torpedo shot out and struck the gate hinge. The gate that would've trapped the sub in the canal they were in shook and stopped as the sub squeezed by. The Viperfish had made it through most of the canal locks and gates uneventfully. Now they were starting to close. The captain had to blow a hole in the last one they'd gone through. Fortunately this was the last gate before the open ocean and freedom. The captain gave a smug grin and then ordered his engine room to full power. Time to GTFO of this river and go home.

Inside the "hideout":

The Happy Smilers could easily notice that the SWAT and LTG tore the place apart. Busted wooden/cardboard boxes, burn smudge, craters, concrete chunks, damaged ceilings' steel trusses with an occasional steel beam dangling and ready to fall, empty ammunition magazines, bullet holes and casings, smoke still hanging in the air, and occasionally dead bodies, blood and bits of body parts. Chatters of gunfire and screams echoed throughout the building as the SWAT attempted to hold off the mobs of LTG fighters just long enough for SWAT reinforcements to arrive. Police sirens could be heard rapidly approaching.

A LTG newbie fighter who was taking cover behind a cardboard box noticed the two Happy Smilers who were standing only a few meters away. He recognized the two "party crashers" and sprayed his MAC-10, missing every single bullet before attempting to flee. He didn't make it far when he ran into a LTG machine gunner's line of fire.

A LTG operative ran past the two Happy Smilers while holding onto a rope that was tied around Grace's handcuffs and into a hallway then down a set of stairs into the basement, not noticing a lethal problem (for him and LTG). He was ordered to put the girl in a location that the police won't notice, the sewer system that the building was connected to through a trap door.
--------------------------
At the canal locks:

"Aw !@#$, they blew the locks. Dammit! Dammit! Dammit! Dammit!" one of the maintenance workers commented as he saw the locks swaying from the underwater explosions and massive bubbling in the water.

"Blitzin' barnstormers, Gary! That fiendish rapscallion just dashed down that yonder hallway with our target in tow!" Oliver exclaimed. Gary shot his partner a sideways glance. Oliver maintained a picture of innocence as he mowed down two LTG goons attempting to flank them.

"Your talking privileges are hereby revoked." Gary stated dryly. Oliver broke out in an insane smirk and Gary sighed. Combat made Smilers do and say the weirdest things. "Well lets not waste time! After them!" Gary pointed out. Oliver nodded and the two ran down the corridor the fleeing LTG operative had taken. "Remember, he might have hidden her so we need him alive!" He told Oliver over the din. Oliver nodded.

"Right! Kneecaps only then?" He asked.

"Exactly!" Gary confirmed, as they began going down the stairs the operative had taken.

"This is Operative 5689, I've got two enemies coming after me and I have the hostage! I need backup, I'm heading for the basement!" the LTG operative radioed.

"There are a couple of operatives and guards in the basement, I'll radio them to let them know that they got company. Avoid losing the hostage at all cost

"Understood sir." the operative replied. Grace attempted to run the opposite direction and was yelled at by the operative; "Dammit, one more tug of war and I'll put bullets in your arm!"

He then dragged her into the basement, slammed the door closed and locked it, and then ran past several dozens of cheap wooden crates. Most of them had some gaps varying in width, and a few of them had LTG operatives and guards camping inside. The Happy Smilers wouldn't notice the trap until it was too late and even if they did, they would have to waste precious time swiss-cheesing the crates.

Oliver and Gary came across the crates and stopped. Suspicious glares were cast in the crates general direction. "Got any FoxtrotBravos?" Gary whispered. Oliver held up three. Gary smirked and pulled out a few frags of his own. "Beginning, middle, furthest. One right after the other." He said. Oliver nodded. Gary held up three fingers and counted down. When it got to zero he and Oliver threw their three grenades in rapid succession. All six landing in the correct spot. The two Smilers took cover and waited for them to go off. The Flashbangs Oliver threw filled the corridor with light and noise as the grenades Gary tossed sprayed shrapnel into the flimsy crates. After a few moments, the two got out from behind cover and slowly made their way through the corridor. All the while they had their guns ready.

Oliver leaped forward and knocked Gary over. The latter heard a grunt and hit the floor again as Oliver fell on top of him. Gary pushed Oliver off him, rolled on his back, and sprayed the offending LTG member with a full burst. Red goo and white chips splattered against the wall. Struggling up to a kneeling position, Gary surveyed the damage done to his partner. Oliver was alive, but only just. A ragged line of holes stitched up from his left side to his right shoulder. Gary rolled Oliver on his back so he could make eye contact. The wounded smiler gasped for air and coughed up blood. "Mah legs...can't...feel 'em..." He gasped out. Gary winced. As powerful as a Smiler's regenerative abilities might be, there was nothing they could do for a shattered spine. "Guess ah'm...done." Oliver muttered as blood began to froth from his mouth. The Smiler's real age became apparent. A mere 18 years old and already facing death. Oliver looked young and scared.

"Shut" up!" Gary ordered. "You'll be fine! We'll get the girl, bust outta here, and get back home! Boss-man will fix you up like brand new and then we'll go out and kick some more ass!" Gary practically yelled at him. Oliver grinned slightly and coughed up more blood as he attempted to laugh.

"S-Sorry buddy...we b-both know...this i-is it." Oliver struggled to say. He looked down the way they came. The pounding of boots could be heard and growing louder every minute. "Ga-get outta ha-here...n-n-n...g-get the g-girl...I...I'll c-cover ya." It was all Oliver could do to stay awake. "D-don't for...forget t-the strap." He said, motioning to his D'eagle holster. Gary felt a lump form in his throat.

"Do us proud friend." He said. Oliver nodded. Gary then reached over to the holster and pulled out a canister and a plastic wristband connected by wire. The ISMD had decided that should an agent(Smiler) of theirs be brought down in the field, it would look very bad if the body could provide evidence against Eggman Empire or clues and secrets on their augmentation process. Therefore, they designed and built a device to be distributed to agents in the field. Essentially the device was a napalm grenade that would explode when the heart sensor in the plastic band it was connected to stopped monitoring a beat. When the agent died, the grenade would explode and the fire would incinerate the body and leave no evidence behind.

And so, it was with a heavy heart that Gary attached the band to Oliver's wrist and activated the grenade. It beeped as it recorded Oliver's heart rate. Then Gary propped Oliver against a wall, gave him a machine gun with a fresh clip, got one for himself, and left. Oliver was left looking down the corridor as enemy troops approached. "Come on, SCUMBAGS!" He managed to shout. He had no control of the weapon and his shots went wide. But he wasn't really looking to kill; just buy his friend time to complete the mission.
-------
Gary pressed onward; Sprinting now. In his hands was an AK with a fresh clip and on his back was a SAW from a dead LTG member. Behind him he heard shouts and gunfire. Then a muted bang. He swore he could smell flesh burning. Gary snarled and continued. Up ahead he could hear the sounds of a scuffle and the sounds of a man arguing with a girl. Yes, Gary would finish the mission, come hell or high water.

In the basement:

A mob of LTG newbie fighters raced down the stairs and through the wreaked basement area where Oliver was sitting in, panic among the newbies were easily noticeable. They didn't have any weapons, they left them behind and were too frighten by the SWAT reinforcements to continue fighting. A couple of them tripped over the broken crates and panicky attempted to get back up. They ran past Oliver, completely unaware that they would meet a burning death within seconds.

When the napalm grenade went off, the SWAT noticed the explosion and smoke coming from the basement. A lone LTG survivor of the napalm blast came stumbling out of the stairway, completely engulfed in flames and screamed; "I'm on fire! Oh my god the pain!" before collapsing onto the floor, dead.

-----------------------------
Gary would see the LTG operative and the girl in the next room, and SWAT operatives crashing through the ceiling onto the LTG operative and Grace. The floor/ceiling above them was so badly damaged from the numerous explosions that the supports gave away and the cconcrete slabs were too fractured to hold their own weight, nevertheless could they hold the SWAT operatives' combined weight.

Grace was pinned down by several large pieces of concrete and steel beams, crying in pain though surprisingly she didn't have any major injuries other than large cuts and bruises. Around her were SWAT operatives moaning in pain. The LTG operative that was dragging her along? Nearly beheaded from the weight of the steel beams and concrete pieces that pressed onto his neck.

Gary walked through the wreckage. A snarl was plastered on his face as he blasted away any surviving cops or LTG members who'd survived the collapse. He arrived at the concrete slab that had trapped Grace. "Alright lil' miss. Here's how it's going to roll. I'm going to lift this slab off your legs, then you're going to come with me. We already got your mom and dad safe and sound. Now we just need to get you. So, either come with me and see your parents, or stay here and wait for those other lunatics to get you. It'll be your choice." What Gary didn't say is he planned to shoot the girl in the head if she decided to not go with him. With a grunt, he slowly lifted the slab off Grace and pulled her out. Dropping the concrete, he asked "So what's it gonna be?"

"I want to see daddy and mommy." Grace replied.

"Hey guys, where's our rear support? What the $%&@, a hole in the floor? Did our entire rear support just fall through the floor?" A SWAT operative asked.

"Why don't you go and check?!" Another SWAT operative yelled back.

Gary stared at the girl for a moment before nodding. "Well then, hop on-board the crazy train and lets be off." He hefted his rifle back into a low-ready carry and made his way to the nearest exit.

Doc checked his watch again. The window was rapidly closing. Those two had better show up before he left them behind.

Grace tagged along nervously. A bathroom door next to Gary and Grace burst open as two unarmed LTG guards struggled to run with their pants and underwear down; it was apparent that they was attempting to take a dump. They had a good reason to run. A creative SWAT operative decided to check the bathroom, knowing that enemies were the most vulnerable when they were on the toilet. "Come back here before I taser you up the rear end!" the SWAT operative yelled as he gave them a chase, unaware of Gary and Grace.

Gary mowed all three down with a sneer. He was beyond caring. The president of this country could have stood in his way and Gary wouldn't have batted an eye whilst he gutted the statesman. The two made their way to the nearest exit. A side door to an unguarded ally. 'Lucky' Gary thought. The mismatched duo moved away from the battleground as fast as they could. Sometimes when Gary felt Grace was moving too slow he would simply grab her by the waist and haul her along like a sack of potatoes.

They quickly came across an unguarded car and Gary smashed the window open. No time for subtlety now. Gary stowed his charge in the back seat and strapped himself into the driver's seat. He placed his AK and M249 on the passenger's side in arms reach. After a quick hotwire, they were off to the train yard.

The police had already surrounded the area and quickly noticed the speeding car.

Radio, police chief: "We have two suspects attempting to flee from the area. Use of lethal force is authorized if they do not pull over and surrender."

Gary would have at least a dozen of police cars and two helicopters chasing him. "Pull your vehicle over and put your hands up or we will use lethal force!" a megaphone blared.
