Any person/persons wanting to join the Synergy Alliance must be approved by a Government Member within the Alliance itself. B. All members are encouraged, but not required, to reside on the Blue team trading sphere. Article II Government A. Secretary General The Synergy alliance shall be lead by this elected spokesperson. This person is responsible for the well being of the alliance. They will make all public announcements and conduct all foreign affairs for the alliance. They will put all necessary matters to a vote before the General Assembly of the alliance. They will also appoint any ministers or deputies as they see fit to help in the running of the alliance. If they step down they will set up a new election for a new Secretary General. The Secretary General term ends upon stepping down or TE reset. The Secretary General cannot serve for two consecutive rounds of TE. B. Any Government member must be in the SE bloc of Synergy, an allied alliance to the SE bloc Synergy, or approved by the majority (4/5's) of CN:TE Synergy's Members. Article III Elections A. The election for Secretary General shall be held at the beginning of each round. The previous Secretary General will put up nominations on the first Day of reset and nominations will be held for 24 hours. This will be followed by a voting period of 48 hours. Any ties will result in a 24 hour run off election. If after a run off election the vote is still tied the previous SG will appoint the new SG. Article IV War A. At the beginning of each round the Secretary general will impose any restrictions governing the rules of engagement. This includes any limits on tech raiding and response to tech raiders. B. Alliance wide war will be put to a vote of the entire general assembly. The poll and any relevant information will be put up by the SG. The poll will remain open for 24 hours and war will be declared with a simple majority. Peace shall be declared in the same way. Article V Treaties A. All treaties with any foreign alliance shall be voted on by the general assembly. The SG will present the treaty in a poll. The GA will debate and vote over a 48 hour period from when the SG posts the treaty. So shall it be written, So shall it be done.
