Hyperion321
Let's say I'm fighting a guy who I finally got down to 0 zero ships that can break a blockade, and I want to do BS, but I want to wait until the next update when I can quad to actually do the BS. If I set the BS on him now, and he rebuys a ship that can break a blockade between now and the time I attack, does the battle support go away? Viluin
Considering the nature of the game I don't think it does. I think blockade breaking ships only prevent battle support from being used, not undo existing battle support. But I could be wrong.. it's a good question. Joland
it seems 99% of CN nations never buy any navy ships? why? they are so expensive and so totally ineffective? I mean, if you fight another nation, who has no navy, if you buy navy which is so expensive anyway, what extra help can give you in the battle? I have no idea how to use cruisers, landing ships and so on in a battle, and what good are they? thanks
SynthFG
Well the extra aircraft from the carriers are more than useful in a nuke war, max carriers + FAB + FSS means over 100 fighters, and even after being nuked a significant number survive, enough to make an enemy bombing mission uncertain of success, defeat 2 incoming escorted bombing runs and thats a significant infra saving But then you need other ships to protect the carriers and others to protect them, the ability to battle support is a bonus
