Where as once he is clear of you guys, we have the resources to build him up so far that you will never be in his range again. Keep throwing good money after bad, babe. Leave him be, and build yourself so when the next war rolls around you can hit him without being jumped on (well... with a slight chance more that you wont)? Seems a bit more logical tbh.
