Comrade
The Molakian Senate has presented this public vote. Many in Molakia have asked for a King, as the centralized power is needed in this time of uncertainty. Reguardless of Vote, Romanov will remain the head of goverment. (OOC- Please comment if you vote and why you voted that way.)

JEDCJT
Byzantium votes against the crowning of a Tsar because we are a Republic (and it would be anathema if we voted otherwise), and a strong leadership can be attained within the people through the foundations of a Republic. But we shall not interfere in your nation's internal affairs. Edited February 7, 2009 by JEDCJT
Comrade
A comment from the President: I was not made aware that the public, or atleast the senate, wanted me king. I heard rumors....but an actual vote? Whatever the people wish will be done, however. Democracy must prevail, even if it means a king. Tahsir
Byzantium votes against the crowning of a Tsar because we are a Republic (and it would be anathema if we voted otherwise), and a strong leadership can be attained within the people through the foundations of a Republic. But we shall not interfere in your nation's internal affairs. Dranagg is a republic that votes in a monarch and the three primary ministry seats. A monarch streamlines the process, and should the people not like him, vote him out of office. Though the occasional issue of them wanting to stay has arisen. Usually ending in the fact that everyone voted the offender out, and upon refusal, terminated the offenders rule with extreme prejudice. Un-popular rulers in a Republic are always easiest to remove. Sarah Tintagyl
We believe that Molakia should remain a republic, the Hansa did not vote this way solely on the idea that we also have a republican government, but on the grounds that no ruler should have absolute power and that power should be able to be in the hands of the people. With small states such as ours we can be the front runners or practicing a true democratic state and limiting corruption as a whole. A nation prospers when its people prosper and its people can only truly prosper when the are given power to chose their own leaders and have a voice on the direction their country is taken in. King Kevz
The Imperium voted yes for Tsar because we could and we had nothing else to do.
KaiserMelech Mikhail
We are 100% for the installation of a Tsar, or czar as we spell it. It is only this strong central voice that can rise above the squablings of the people. In democracy, there are 1,000 voices screaming to be heard and nothing can get done! Comrade
After 24 Hours of voting, it is 55% Against, 44% for this motion. Voting will continue for another 24 hours, or a Definate Majority (70% or Above) is reached, whichever is first.
Subtleknifewielder
While a Republic ourselves, we recognize the need for decisive actions during times of crisis. Therefore, we support the idea of Molakia being ruled by a Monarch.
Comrade
With little over 2 Hours remaining until the time deadline, The call for a Monarch has grown stronger, with 54% of voters in favor of a Monarch!
