Lavo
OOC: not rly. I has anti-air railguns OOC: Those cant stop plasma stealth bombers dropping bombs VERY close to your building, or the bomber itself. OOC: Indeed. Also, Shan, don't forget that I'm only a year or two behind you in tech. We're almost equal in strength. OOC: And I'm at least 5 years ahead of Shan, possibly more. Hurrah! OOC: No. Lavo's posted about these things before, so I can say this much from memory--I believe it has something to do with the material that its outside surface is made of. LeVentNoir
OOC: wiki it. It's invisible to Radar, but when it absorbs the radar, it lights up in the IR range like a public xmas tree. One of the reasons I don't like it.

Visible-light aids for the gunners on the ground, problem is when it's cloudly, but then i have fighters in the air acting like spotters.

Lynneth
News on the skyscrapers A report by the SNN Today, the Center tower reached a height of 200 meters, almost a third of its final size. Thousands of men are working day and night in shifts to ensure that every part of the building is completed on schedule. The lowest parts can, theoretically, already be used by businesses and shops. Meanwhile, the Nakheel Tower is even higher by now, having reached a height of 300 meters. One may ask himself why it's higher, despite having been begun at the same time. Well, the answer is quite simple. More resources have been poured into its construction, and specialised helicopters are delivering material to wherever it is needed. There are four helicopters in the sky at all times. As for the SkyCity, the first two phases have been finished, with construction of the general infrastructure and roads and constructing a part of the city to house workers better. The next phase will include the island on which the SkyTower will stand, although the tower itself will only be built in the fourth phase. Tens of thousands of men are working nonstop in all parts of the SkyCity.
Lynneth
A horrible accident A report by the SNN "A horrible accident has happened today in the capital, Ferinh. On a routine inspection of the Nakheel tower's lower floors, the Chairman tripped and fell down a set of stairs. Luckily, an emergency response team was already on site, as per standard regulations, and rushed the Chairman to the nearest hospital. Currently, it is unknown what kinds of injuries the Chairman has, but we hope for the best." Not a minute later, the reporter got a piece of paper from someone off-screen., He began reading it to the viewers and his expression moved towards the 'concerned' spectrum while talking. "This just in. The Chairman is currently being treated in the Ferinh General Hospital: Center. His injuries are being treated, among them a broken arm, broken legs, a...laceration on the head and...Oh, christ. Ladies and Gentlemen, the Chairman apparently has damaged a part of his spine during the fall...His feet are paralyzed and he is unable to feel or move them. He will likely have to use a wheelchair until there is a way to replace the destroyed part of his spine and the nerves. Luckily, the Chairman is already conscious again. He said," An audio recording was played: "While this accident couldn't have had a worse timing and yes, it did !@#$@#$ hurt, but this won't stop me from doing whatever I planned. It won't stop me from getting into a goddamn spaceshuttle, it won't stop me from travelling to the moon and take a walk on it - or drive, if I'm using the wheelchair up there. It also won't stop me from doing my duties as Chairman. This is just an inconvenience, nothing more!" "We at the SNN hope that this is indeed only an inconvenience for the Chairman and that his new condition willnot affect him too much. Thank you for watching, and have a good night." **Private** Meanwhile, the Chairman planned to have his legs replaced by this cybernetic stuff that Ranather already was using. Repairing the spine would be possible too, using the know-how acquired through the Saborian genetic research. But it all would take time. He had to contact Nordland soon, for the new legs. While this accident hadn't been planned, it opened a few opportunities and possibilities. OOC: Comments, please. ^^
