Gebiv
I've heard that 1 happiness =$2*modifiers. My problem is that when I hear this, they usually say "about $2." My question is simple: Is it two dollars exactly, more than two dollars, or less that two dollars? If so, by how much? Postscript: Perhaps that question wasn't simple. Scorp
I believe that it's exactly 2.
myruler
1 Happiness=$2 That $2 will then get brought up by modifiers. For example, if you have all the +% income improvements(banks, schools, universities, etc.), the modifier comes to ~2.0759287. Therefore, that 1 happiness with all of those improvements will come out to about: 2*2.0759287=~$4.

Syzygy
I confirm, 1 happiness is exactly $2.00 (base). $4.30 with max modifiers.
