SpacingOutMan
I've been thinking about it, and people always say to get Stock Market either first, second, or third in the hierarchy of wonders, but this poses one question: What about Movie Industry. Stock Market is strictly a $10 increase in income, whereas Movie Industry is +3 happiness, and with all the income boosters, this is in between a $12-$13 increase in income per citizen. My first wonder is going to end up being a Social Security System, but I planned to purchase a Stock Market before I went to get an Interstate System, but now that I thought of this, can anyone answer why so many people do not purchase Movie Industry and buy Stock Markets over it? Count Rupert
Because the Stock Market is way better. That $10 is added to the base income and hence is modified the same as if it were a +5 happiness wonder (over the Movie Industry being only a +3 wonder). Aeternos Astramora
Everything you see in the game for + $X.XX is always before the modifiers. Movie industry = +3 happiness * multipliers = +$6.00 * multipliers Stock Market = +$10.00 * multipliers = +5 happiness * multipliers Edited February 9, 2008 by Aeternos Astramora
