"The Kingdom of Yugoslavia sends many well wishes to the good people of the Persian Empire, along with our apology on our rather late message. As another token of our apology, we simply request either a simple diplomatic exchange to be begun at the leisure of the Šâhanšâh or a diplomatic meeting to be scheduled once more at the Šâhanšâh's leisure.

We hope that our token is accepted, with good relations and tidings to flourish between our two great countries."

Respectfully,
Kralj Dragojev Belojevic

First and foremost, there is no need to apologize. We have been keeping tabs on the recent situation in Europe, and that deserved your utmost attention. In regards to a meeting between our states, we are willing to schedule that immediately. We are willing to meet with you in the Imperial Capital of Persepolis or at a location of your choosing.

"It pleases us tremendously to hear of such a rapid response to our inquiry. To that end, we find the choice of the Persian Empire's own capital to be appropriate all considered and we shall travel as soon as possible for this wondrous meeting between our two countries."

Respectfully,
Kralj Dragojev Belojevic

With the announcement of the Yugoslavian - Persian Diplomatic Summit, the capital of Persepolis was prepared for it's foreign guest. At the airport, the Yugoslavian delegation would be greeted by a Persian rendition of their national anthem. After playing, the Emperor stepped forward, "Welcome to the Imperium of Persia. I trust your flight was smooth?" Afterwards, the group was led to the awaiting motorcade, where they would be transported to the Imperial Palace.

The Kralj and his entourage would marvel at the Persian capital throughout their trip, not minding the rather silent trip before they arrived at the Imperial Palace and promptly escorted to a conference room.

"We must thank the Persians for their hospitality so far, esteemed Šâhanšâh," Dragojev would begin with as he sat down on the offered chairs, smiling politely at the Persian Šâhanšâh, "And your capital is a glorious and magnificent one," he continued.

"But alas," the Kralj said before letting out a sigh, "I sincerely wished this was a meeting solely for friendship but I must be frank with the Persian people, the Kingdom needs friends and allies more than ever if our desire to maintain peace in Europe is to take hold."

"First of all, let me say that it's an honor and a privilege to have you here.", Emperor Bahadur said as he grabbed his glass of water from his adjutant. The Emperor leaned back in his chair, as he listened to his counter-part speak.

Bahadur nodded, "I can understand your need for allies; especially, with the recent turmoil in Europe." The Emperor leaned forward and sipped from his glass of water, "What kind of relationship were you looking into?"

"We wish for the Persian Empire to be both a friend and an ally to the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, esteemed Šâhanšâh," the Kralj replied with as he smiled politely at his fellow royal, taking a sip of the offered glass of water to soothe his thirst before continuing, "And yes, the situation in tumultuous Europe is one of the reasons we have extended our branch to the Empire to begin with."

"What kind of treaty would the Empire be willing to participate in?"

Dragojev raised an eyebrow before putting some thought into the Šâhanšâh's words, "How about we start with something a bit more simpler, esteemed Šâhanšâh?" the Kralj asked as he started to elaborate. "As it stands, both the Persian Empire and Kingdom barely know of each other enough to facilitate and ensure cooperation with our military forces in conjunction. Thus I believe it to be more fruitful to grow the relationship from a Non-Aggression Pact in combination with an economic treaty."

"With regards to the economics treaty between our two countries, I believe making it easier for enterprising businessmen to understand the law, ensure that there are no loopholes of any kind with regards to trade and transportation between the Empire and the Kingdom. Uniformed procedures and the like," the Kralj added.

Bahadur smiled, "I like the sound of that. As two nations, practically in two different spheres, it would be wise for us to develop a decent relationship. However, might I suggest a little addition?" The Emperor leaned back in his chair, "Perhaps, we could place a special clause in the treaty indicating an upgrade to an Optional Defense Treaty or Mutual Defense Pact after a comprehensive review of our relations."
