The Kingdom of Brazil rises!

The government of the Kingdom of Brazil has been selected and generally agreed upon as a Constitutional Monarchy. The monarch is the one and only William Adama with 70 members of the newly formed Parliament. The head of state William Adama has been given the position of representing the people and the kingdom in all affairs, Parliament has been given the place to check the King to make sure he is keeping to the ways of the Kingdom and representing the rights of the people. King Olmos has been given the right to declare a state of emergency and to declare war. The Parliament has been given the rights to make sure that the actions are just and the right course of the government. The King gave a speech asking for Mexico to accept this new government to gain power in Brazil.

"The people of Brazil have spoken, they wish to rise from the ashes to once again seek greatness for Brazil, we are not Time Lords, we are not Umbrellans, we are Brazilian. We seek independence to govern our selves, we ask the Mexican government to allow our nation to independently rule its self. This day September third of the new Brazilian standard calendar 2012 will be the day of Brazilian independence. A nation run by the people, for the people, for peace. Not for the military or an excessive governments will to rule." the crowds cheerd as the king shook the hands of his people and headed to the back room.

"Provided Mexico confirms this move of independence, we wholeheartedly support the rise of another new Latin American country, and recognize this move for a self-determining governance in Brazil. We look forward to further exchanges between our two respective states in the future, as part of this diverse and unique community of resurgent countries."

"We in ParĂ¡ cannot overstate our joy in seeing the rest of Brasil at last claiming independence for its people for the first time since the dominance of the Umbrella Commonwealth across South America. The future for South America is brighter every day--even more so this day with the rise of a renewed Brasil, and it is my great pleasure to be able to welcome Brasil to South America once more."

Upon hearing the speech from the Independence Movement seeking formal recognition, Patricia Espinosa would make the following statement:

"We are glad to see a new nation come to exist in South America. We will provisionally recognize the Kingdom of Brazil until an inspection of various regions of the nation confirms the government is indeed trying to help its people, including the indigenous people who reside within your borders. Should the inspection yield no issues, we will fully recognize your government."

The people of Edean welcome this nation to the world. Even though it has been a long time since Edean has had anything like a king, which seems strange given that Edean is actually run by a Triumvirate at most and should perhaps then be called, the Free Triumvirate of Edean, or maybe the Free Anarch of Edean... but Kingdom sounds so much cooler and we welcome the Kingdom of Brazil to the world.
