Owned-You
With Indianapolis expanding to acquire the territory of Illinois the budding Republic acquired a large expanse of territory and resources to add to it's base. It already produced significant amounts of coal & steel but with the addition of Illinois production of these two resource centers would expand significantly. Additionally, it meant the growth of it's agricultural sector as well as a member of the Wheat belt of the United States. It was with this in mind that Legate Hawkins would inquire to his contacts with arranging an economic treaty with Mexico. It was determined that Mexico's vast territorial holdings and standing in the Americas would insure a powerful trading partner capable of supplying resources to Indianapolis while also being able to benefit from energy production & pharmaceutical products. A message would be sent to Mexico to arrange a meeting between their respective statesmen.
Diplomatic Message to: Mexico Regarding: Trade Relations From: Harry Weston Chief of Economic Affairs Greetings, On behalf of the Republic of Indianapolis I have been asked to arrange a formal meeting between our nations to discuss a potential economic partnership between our nations. With Mexico's vast resources and assets in the Americas we believe our nation would benefit greatly from entering trade relations with your state. Additionally, we have a number of resources in the energy & medical fields that could benefit Mexico. We believe there is a foundation between our nations to form a mutually beneficial trade agreement between our nations. With this in mind, if acceptable we wish to fly our head of state Legate Vincent Hawkins to meet with President José Calzada to discuss this partnership. I eagerly await your response. -Harry Weston
Edited July 3, 2012 by Owned-You

Foreign commerce is under his purview, and he will have similar authority over such discussions. Please inform us of your diplomatic itinerary prior to arriving to Mexico, so we can make the proper accommodations. Signed, Bruno Francisco Ferrari Garcia de Alba Secretary of the Economy
Due to recent developments Legate Hawkins will no longer be able to attend. However, I have been given express powers to act on his behalf in light of his absence. Currently, our cargo will total four Republican Guard for our personal security and my own secretary Erick Fredrickson will be in attendance to aide me. We will be flying on a specially designated G-750 with an IFF signal "Kodiak." I look forward to meeting with your Undersecretary to discuss this economic partnership. -Harry Weston --- The G-750 would depart later on that evening with the diplomatic passengers on board. Soaring at speeds of Mach 1.4 it would arrive within Mexican air-space in just a few hours. Her crew would inform the passengers of their entry into Mexico and as her Captain would make contact with Mexican airspace officials. "This is the G-750 Kodiak. Requesting an escort to designated landing space. Over."
Voodoo Nova
"Escort approved G-750 Kodiak." Two F-7's became airborne within the half hour to escort the aircraft to its landing. Upon landing, the representative and his associates would be met with an escort to the meeting location. The F-7's would return to base after the aircraft landed.
