  1. I don't even know what your point is this time, to be frank. But it's painfully clear you're posting with an agenda โ€“ anti-Karma โ€“ and trying desperately to twist what I am saying and what Goldie is saying into something which isn't there. If you have honest questions then I will respond in kind; if you just try to spin my words like a top then there's not really much point.

Edit because you edited: My problem with this treaty is (i) Echelon are a crappy alliance and it's disappointing to see GGA revert to them, but mainly (ii) it's an MADP. The one lesson Karma should have shown everyone is that MADPs are a liability โ€“ particularly with Echelon, who have in the past bailed on an MADP partner, been aggressive, and unstable members of BLEU.

I'm so glad that you think so highly of Echelon, but if i may, I'll let you in on a secret, we really don't care about your out-of-touch and offbase opinions. We really don't, and for what its worth, I really don't care for your alliance either. Why don't you stop complaining about things that no longer apply, but I suppose if you did that, we wouldn't hear much from you.

Did your mother never teach you that if you didn't have anything nice to say to not say anything at all. GGA seems to like Echelon, and Echelon loves GGA, and seeing as we were willing to take the risks of a MDAP, I don't see why your complaining. Your issue is not with the MDAP, your just upset to see alliances you don't like continuing to have friends. I don't know if nobody told you, but there are alot of people in the world who don't agree with you, just as there are many who don't agree with me. Just because you don't like an alliance doesn't mean that others shouldn't.

  2. No the "o" doesn't matter because if one was to get rolled then the other would 99% probably get rolled along side that alliance...because people think this way: better to kill two (insert word here) with one stone, if you know what I'm saying.

And if one was to attack another alliance, the "o" wouldn't matter either because you would end up attacking the SAME people anyway through different treaties.

idrc, MADP's kinda mean that you guys are close but its not as strong as say the Non cancellation treaty between NPO and MHA, if you made it like that, then I would consider you guys bff's for life.

Either way good liuck with friendship, because hey, everyone needs someone.

aye, as far as those "no-cancellation" treaties go, those are pretty hard-core, puts entirely too much stock in things of the present, it doesn't matter how strong current relations are, things will inevitably change, and sometimes for the worse. pre-war (and even today), Echelon has had treaties that date back before Echelon was formed, treaties originally signed by The Shadowhood. You hope that you will maintain friendships and that treaties will never need to be canceled, but its important to be able to take action should, god forbid, you grow apart.

More then anything, it just amuses me to see people complain about other alliances doing something that they themselves don't have the balls to do. There isn't a single thing wrong with a MDAP, some people just don't trust their allies enough to take things that far. Echelon and GGA being that comfortable with one another is far from a weakness in my book.

  3. You know, this being an MDAP rather then a MDoAP doesn't change a single thing.

    Not one.

Echelon and GGA are such good friends, I don't forsee that there would ever be a situation where that optional clause would not be used. Being optional was so irrelavant, we decided to not even include it, why waste your time saying it will be optional when everybody knows that its not going to be invoked. Seems like common sense, giving you less to read so you can get on with your real life those filthy things you do while by yourself.

Really, being an MDAP doesn't make a bit of difference to you, the only people that it should really matter to is the alliances signing, because they're the ones who are putting their balls in a clamp as a result, they're the ones assuming the risk and so forth. Echelon and GGA both appear confident enough with the other to take that risk, so instead of your mindless crying over nothing, why don't you do something constructive with your time, like washing your sheets.

  4. Don't see many of these signed anymore.

Oh well, congrats to you folks. :)

aye, to sign a treaty of this magnitude, you have to think about alot of things, and make sure that it is an appropriate bond between two alliances, that your directions are compatible, and that you trust the other party enough not to use it to #$!@ you.

In the case of this treaty, we in Echelon felt so strongly about GGA and our friendship with them that all doubts we're put to rest, which says alot about the friendship between us.

  5. Okay not to beat a dead horse or any of that, but I laugh at the fact that the only people crying about this still, are either TC sypmathisors, people who were implicated to have a hand in the coup, or people who are known to be flat out untrust worthy. Jenn, You've stomped your reputation dead so many you could say anything you wanted, anything at all, possibly even things that are scientifically proven, and not a single person would beleive you, Excepting for your current alliance of conquest, which just happens to be echelon. TeamColtra, and Keve dealt with the situation, all this !@#$%*ing and moaning in a topic that should by all means be long dead will get you nowhere except further into the hole of zero credibility that you find yourselves in now.

Do us all a favor, stop posting here.

(yes I know I posted here and im sure someone who has no idea how to read will point that out)

Let this be the last post and leave it at that.

Conversations end when the discussion is exhausted, not when you'd like it, trying to demand that you get the last word is rather smug of you, from where I sit anyway. Nice veiled shot at Echelon there, its not that we necessarily believe that codeXveronica is not Jenn, we simply didn't think that it was that big of a deal. The continuation of the believe that "it is a big deal" is laughable considering that Keve allowed her to remain in his alliance, so do yourself a favor, stop "beating a dead horse", the dead horse being an argument that makes no sense.

i like TC but hes a world class fruitcake. supporting him makes u look nothign but bad!

I guess its a good thing that I don't care what other people think of me. I don't make opinions for the sake of other people, and I don't change my beliefs or betray my beliefs to make others happy.

  6. In the past few days I've had the "pleasure" of dealing with some situations dealing with UINE, and quite frankly Keve hasn't exactly made a positive impression upon me. Quite frankly, that doesn't matter to me, he leads his alliance his way, he has that right. Whether its the right or wrong way, I don't know because I don't have a front-row seat.

I hope the best to UINE, they generally seem like nice enough chaps, but it does seem alarming that in less then a week, two government members essentially came out against Keve. This could be either that Keve's not as nice in alliance as he is outside, or that for some reason less then desirable individuals are working their way into the UINE government. Naturally those outside the situation have no idea which it is, and the two sides will tell you completely contradicting stories, but ultimately in the coming weeks and months, the stability of UINE will make it known which of these two is the truth.

As for teamcoltra, in the last few days I've had the oppertunity to chat with him some, and to be honest, I kinda like the guy. For all this evil "power-mongering" talk that UINE and their allies produce, I think that he was doing what he thought was best, obviously thats what he thought, and others have the right to believe otherwise. I don't think he's a bad guy, I simply think he has some maturing to do yet.

  7. Such a good-looking treaty between two of Echelon's good friends, I wish you both the best :D

Its saddening to see people talk so negatively about NADC. From my experiences from the last year, I cannot point out a more loyal and honorable alliance then NADC, they are the best friends I think anybody could ever have. For those of you who naysay, to you I'd say things similar to those which Dick Cheney once said to Patrick Leahy. (even though I'm a democrat and despise Cheney)

  8. aww, you're sooooo cute., mommy can we keep him? PAAWEEEEESEE!!!

maybe if your alliance didn't sell out its allies i might give a crap what you have to say. Fact is, i'm not hiding behind anything, your continued existence is exactly what bothers me most about your alliance. If i'm ever in a position too effect the existence of your alliance, you can damn well guarantee that i'll be the one in the black mask holding an axe ;)

like i said before, good luck AiD.

So your from an alliance that for 2/3 of its existence fought for the side of "evil" (or what you claim is now evil), even went as far as forcing the disbandment of one of the greatest, if not the greatest alliances of the blue team, and based off a brief history you feel your entitled to the high road. I have nothing against them, well other then a few things, like any alliance, they have their strong points and their weaker points, but unlike you, I'm not petty or sad, and therefore I elect not to be bothered by them.

Hey, here's a thought, I (we) couldn't care less what you think. Your entitled to your opinions, regardless of how stupid they may be.The work of Echelon stands on its own, don't like that, too <expletive> bad, we don't care. In the past there were individuals like you who would have liked to seen the "existence of our alliance" brought to an end, and yet we stand before you today.

The one thing that we can agree on is to wish AiD good luck, they're a great bunch, but they don't need luck, they're naturally good, they can create their own luck.

    Regards,

  9. Excellent stuff.

Nothing better then seeing old friends staying friends in a new world.

good luck AiD, treaties with echelon aren't worth very much, so i think you're going to need it.

Talking with you is like talking with a dinner table, I have no interest doing so, and I don't see why any sane person would. Nice try though, as completely biased and untruthful as your claim may be, it gave me a hearty chuckle.

  10. Much love guys :D

Honorable foes, former allies (of me personally at least yay AE) and just all around good.

Stop by TTK for a round on me!

I'm kinda surprised you would say that, we weren't exactly the nicest on your front, and I will admit that I certainly wasn't the most honorable in the handling of the situation.

  11. you can call me a lot of things, most of them are well warranted, but at least i'm not an opportunistic sell out.

echelon pre war was a tool. hopefully you have overcame that, though i doubt it.

I could go into further detail of what we were and what we are now, but the war is over, there is no need. Speaking of disbanding, since your nation says your in the NpO and all, why don't you ask AlmightyGrub what its like to be in an alliance that disbands.

But I wouldn't exactly call, you know, entering into a war without a lot of optimism in defense of an ally being a tool. Echelon entered the Karma war to be a good ally, a good friend, and if that is what your looking for us to have changed, you will be sorely disappointed. Maybe you feel differently, thats your own perogative.

  12. Congrats judas, though personally I was hoping for disbandment

Those who expected, even believed it possible for Echelon to disband completely mis-understand what and who we are.

But its lovely you would say such a thing, as an individual who experienced the disbandment of arguably one of this games greatest alliances ever, things like that say alot about you, and trust me its not positive things which its saying

Ladies & Gentlemen, Boys & Girls, Children of all ages.... Echelon is proud to announce the completion of its' post-war terms as set out by Karma. As such, Echelon declares her freedom and sovereignty have now been re-instated to their fullest extent.

The members of Echelon have endured hardship in the last few months... However, it is in this hardship Echelon has found she has many friends old and new alike who have gone out of their way to offer help and assistance in her time of need. To these friends we offer our most sincere thanks. Knowing that we have people like you behind us has made things a whole lot easier.

During the post-war period Echelon has also received messages of support from across the CN-spectrum... some from places & people whom we would never have expected. To these people we also offer heartfelt gratitude and hope that it is the start of new beginnings between our alliances.

When Echelon attempted to negotiate surrender towards the end of the Karma War we found that some of the terms being proposed were harder to swallow than others. However, many of our opponents on the Karma side also recognized this fact, and went out of their way to facilitate the smoothest payment of reparations as was possible at the time. Your good deed will not be forgotten.

One thing which has not been lost upon the members of Echelon is the fact that the Karma War has provided a fresh 'break', so to speak. The Echelon of today is very, very different in some ways to the Echelon of 1 year ago. While our core values remain, we have also developed an increased appreciation for the importance of having loyal and honorable friends. Without loyalty and honor a friendship means nothing. As such, the members of Echelon shall aim to engage in relations with those whom we believe to have similar values and principles as ourselves, not just in words but in action.

Conversely, Echelon also recognizes that there are some people out there who will seek to take a shot at every available opportunity. To these people we can only offer one piece of advice; choose your shots wisely, you won't get a second chance. To these skeptics we have only to say, for good or for ill... remember this day. Lastly, to our old brothers and sisters in arms and in blood; The day of gathering has come, it is time to return home. For today the Phoenix has risen once more.
