How has tech been made useless for raising NS? It still gives you more NS than infra and for large nations 50 tech in a tech deal is cheaper than 10 infra. All this change has done is slow down the inflation which was a much needed change.

People are idiots.

Our top nation lost 30,000 NS, get over it. The game has been improved, you have to look at the bigger picture.

From what I can see its only you and 1 or 2 others complaining loudly while everyone else understands this was necessary and/or welcomes it.

The first thing you could try doing is getting into a trade circle to get you some bonuses and changing your government to monarchy. I have over 7000 infra and this has hardly affected me at all, I don't understand what you are complaining about. I lost about 10k ns, rose something like 3% in the rankings and everything is fine. My current trade set up gives me around -40% infra purchase cost, and -25% infra upkeep cost, combining that with labour camp swapping, factories and an interstate system infra is profitable, at your infra level it will be for at least another thousand or so.

yeah totally, because pressing an extra button every day practically tripled the excitement edit: ahahah, i dont see what is stopping you from buying tech now aswell

I have about 7000 infra but only ~300 tech so I jumped from being in the top 6-7% to being in the top 3%

It was me, expecting the monies asap. edit: not really, you would be best off if you just waited until they PMed you asking for the money.

I think I found my problem.

I just put -11000 into the soldier transaction box

I had a 2 million bill for soldiers so I sold a bunch. As I said, I haven't played around with soldiers for a while and didn't really know what I was doing.

I sold ~4900 infra. And fixed my last trade.

I guess it must have been before the click limit though?

True, I haven't used soldiers since GW1 and so had no idea what I was doing. also LS: I sure hope it isn't

Ugh. I have sold all of my infra and bought about 1000-2000 of it back before getting locked out of the game. My bills were down from ~400,000,000 to ~30,000,000. (17,000,000 of which was my nuke bills) I bought the -infra cost wonder aswell. hint: when selling/buying large amounts of infra put in the amount you want and spam the "Purchase Transaction" button wildly for about 30 seconds. It makes it go much quicker B) (also my tekken 2 button mashing skills came into play)

Really? How does that work out?

I've been playing this game for 610 days, I'm not screwed and if I was I would know how much I was. I bothered to get some trades last night, I can afford to pay my bills now but I'm going to wait till I get the infra-cost reducing trade combo before I do it.

Didn't have enough money to pay the bills; all my trades got cancelled within a week of each other. Then I got bored with my nation/rl troubles/focussed on my alliance until now.
