News Update::
The new Constitution of Vaule was approved by referendum today with a majority of 74% of the electorate. Under the new constitution, power is divided between the Judicial, the Unicameral Legislative and the Executive branches of government. The new Constitution ensures that all key government officials are directly elected by the populace in a free and fair democratic system.
The country’s new Head of State, the Imperator Azenquor I was sworn into office early this morning. Shortly after the adoption of the new Constitution, a Legislative election was scheduled to take place in the next few days.
“At this time, we have undertaken the monumental task of transforming Vaule from a repressive dictatorship to a free and open democracy. However, we can not hope to succeed without assistance from our neighbors and other friendly nations. We ask the world to stand by us as we create a new chapter in the history of our nation. The first free election in the modern history of our nation will take place soon. It is my hope that the elections will reflect the true will of all of Vaule’s citizens. We will arrange a conference shortly to meet with Foreign Diplomats On the international scene Vaule will seek to be a steadfast ally who respects the principles of Democracy, and Human Rights. I look forward to meeting with representatives from other nations to discuss Vaule becoming a responsible member of the international community.”-Imperator Azenquor
In a statement released from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Interim Government of Vaule has extended an invitation to all Foreign Diplomats to attend a Conference on July 25, 2008 in the capital Sygh-Varthys. The Government has also extended invitations to nations to set up embassies in Vaule and establish formal diplomatic relations.

After a period of prolonged isolation, the nation of Vaule now seeks to participate actively in World Affairs and to develop greater diplomatic ties with other nations worldwide. As such we hereby request permission to be admitted into the hallowed halls of the World Congress.

After 20 years of dictatorship under President-for-Life Khudorozkina, the new government of the United Democratic Republic of Vaule (UDRV) is pleased to announce that President Khudorozkina has been overthrown by the Vaule military. At 1:00pm PST today, the 4th battalion of the military seized control of the capital city, Sygh Varthys and the nearby Presidential Palace. Up to this time there have been small incidents of rioting and other violence on the streets of the capital, but the military has insisted that they are in full control of the city. At 3:00pm PST an interim Parliament was convened and a new constitution was drafted immediately in order to avoid the creation of a power vacuum.

The former President’s policy of complete isolation from the outside world had seen large decreases in the nation’s economy and deterioration of diplomatic ties to other nations. President Khudorozkina was also well known for suppressing all forms of dissent and opposition.
