  1. This is correct. I am almost positive that it is -1 environment for red star, 0 environment for no star and +1 environment for a blank star.
  2. SDI if you think you will be in a nuclear war, Great Monument for economic benefits. I would personally get the SDI just in case.
  3. Cloud, sorry to ruin your faith in your mathematics, but you should be able to tell that almost all these formulas and things have nothing to do with calculus and are mainly simple algebra problems. As long as you have the time to work with the formulas and enough data(probably from your alliance), you should be able to figure out everything you need.
  4. People aren't realizing this slight adjustment. Syzygy suggested that population density should be a factor in this, but I am almost positive that land has no effect on the environment based on this update. Admin already stated that he didn't take Syzygy's suggestion word for word and that the equations are different. Now it is just time to figure out what the equations are.
  5. I understand that you don't have as big of nations as I do, but how has it impacted low-middle NS nations the most? I think the mostly hit nations would be the ones with 25 nukes and sitting high in infra without a NEO. I am importing coal, a resource that is hurting my nation and I don't have a NEO to stop that...
  6. I must have been the only person that basically wasn't effected at all by this update. I was able to change my government from Monarchy to Democracy, gaining back the point of environment that I lost from this update. Other than that, I lost only 1750 citizens(compared to my now 126,451 citizens) and I lost about 6 cents per citizen that I collect a day. This whole change made me drop my income from 17.4 million to 17.15 million or about 250k. That's pocket change.
  7. If you change your improvements around so you have 5 factories before buying infra, you should be able to get about 2,000 infra, gaining you 6k NS. That would make you 15k NS, needing only 13k more NS to be nuclear eligible.
  8. You probably won't get into the top 5%, but you will be much closer.
  9. Hopefully this will still be on page 200. o/ Sanction Race!
  10. I'd suggest dropping marble for uranium and trade swapping for marble when you need to buy infra.
  11. The bolded part is wrong. I'm pretty sure you still lose the 1 happiness when you get uranium(read the description) and cookieking would have the negative environment effects as well because he does not have the NEO. Also, you forgot to times the $7.50(less after these effects) against the modifier that is somewhere around 2.08 or so? (I'm not exactly sure what it is).
  12. You should have totally ignored RoK in the commentary. oh well, o/ RoK
  13. Since when can you buy yourself the color red?
  14. What are you guys talking about? If you've played the game long enough to consider buying wonders, you should know that the Stock Market is the best economic first wonder. This is true in 95% of the cases. The only two reasons I think someone might not buy a Stock Market first are: 1. You have the money to purchase a SSS. However, if you have the money currently to purchase it, the question is, why didn't you buy the Stock Market days ago? 2. Someone pays you to buy a wonder. This one I haven't seen as much, but it was just an interesting idea I had thought of if you have someone you trust. I'll probably get shot down on this one by someone on something I forgot, but oh well. Has anyone tried to find a permanent donation seller? Let's say donations are 12m a piece now. If you send them 25mil to buy a FAC and then waste 2 slots a month on donations instead of 4, you might be able to pay the FAC back in a few months. Just an idea that came to my head. Stock Market is the cheapest "good" wonder and the $10mil lower purchase price helps people start the wonder cycle 2-5 days earlier at the time they start.
  15. admin considered it and I'm pretty sure denied it because 2 year old nations to not need an extra boost.
  16. Making it harder to purchase nukes is good. It may not be good for individuals close to the line, but those that have played the game realize that less nations with nukes is a good thing. They can damage a nation very much and now it takes skill to get a weapon that does that for you. It is good for the game.
  17. That may be true, but Stock Market is better than SSS as a first wonder in 99% of the cases.
  18. Go here: http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showforum=62
  19. Many nations don't even buy nukes. I'm in the top 1% and don't have nukes. Somehow I moved up in the rankings with this change without any nukes.
  20. Live with it. Nation Strength's have been lowered giving you a larger range of nations you can attack. It is still very possible to get into the top 5%. You guys make it seem like it is impossible. NO one will have 20 nukes as soon as they pass the barrier. The first day they buy a nuke, they only get 10 NS. Pass them before they get more.
  21. I vote: Pick one yourself.
  22. Yes, I see that now. I admit my mistake.
  23. If they don't help you, don't get them. For me, they help, even if it is minimal, so I keep them.
  24. Due to your edit, yes Stock Markets are the best first wonder in almost all cases. SSS should be second.
