  1. How does referring to myself as Interim MoFA break any laws? Interim adjective 1.in or for the intervening period; provisional or temporary. "an interim arrangement" synonyms: provisional, temporary, pro tem, stopgap, short-term, fill-in, caretaker, acting, transitional, makeshift, improvised, impromptu "an interim advisory body" Fill-in, acting, makeshift, improvised MoFA are all synonyms. I didn't realize you wanted to destroy POSSE so badly when you left, you wanted nobody to be able to fulfill any of the duties you abandoned when you left. You created the need for a fill-in or acting MoFA when you abandoned your post. Its not unconstitutional.
  2. Aren't you the one who calls yourself Supreme Triumvir of the LPCN? Sounds like you're talking about yourself there buddy.
  3. Interim MoFA, Temporary MoFA, Head Diplomat, Grand Ambassador, they are all just words. I have the authority given to me to deal with this diplomatic issue, there is nothing in the Charter about an Interim MoFA. Its just a phrase used to describe someone who's trying to do what needs to be done on the FA front while we lack an official MoFA due to you deserting the alliance during war. So I don't see why you're making a fuss over what I call myself when I'm trying to clean up the mess you left behind. Also I can hold an official position, I just can't nominate myself for it according to the charter.
  4. I'll let you know when we have the spot filled officially. Right now I'm acting as an interim MoFA to deal with this situation. We're waiting on someone who needs to give their stamp of approval to come online before its official, but I have diplomatic authority to deal with this situation and try resolving it.
  5. I've repeatedly said I don't want to discuss what he did and its better people stop bringing it up. You're the one who keeps constantly bringing him up and trying to use him as a source of argument. I tried convincing him for around an hour on skype to stay after he left, giving him many suggestions of what we could do. I wanted him to stay and wished him well when he left. Its just your distortion of the facts and constantly involving him makes him and what he did the center of discussion. I think you should stop trying to make the conditions in which he left the primary topic of discussion, its you who's doing him a great disservice. I've repeatedly tried moving the discussion away from him personally, since I have nothing against him. He made a mistake, we don't need to keep talking about it in loops. I said you are free to accept him and I wish him luck. I don't want to condemn him to any kind of terrible fate, I tried convincing him to come back. It was him who put himself in his current situation, I never had any desire to remove him. Although the MoFA is an important position, so I will do my best to fill the position. Its not official yet, but I have volunteered to fill position for the good of the alliance.
  6. You have a grudge against Alonso, good for you. You spread way to many misconceptions among your loyalists to even make it worth trying to correct them all. Just correcting the misconceptions you spread about other alliance leaders is like a full time job.
  7. You seem to care about us a lot, but not in the good way. Your obsession has been noted.
  8. Alonso posted his opinions on OWF? Most alliances let their members express their individual thoughts and don't need to parrot a party line whenever they speak. SNX is one of the few alliances who have such restrictions on freedom of speech, but in most alliances its normal to hear more than one viewpoint from an alliance. Although I have no interest in arguing with you on whether Diadochi did the right or wrong thing. I don't have a personal grudge against him and I don't mind if you accept him. I have no interest in condemning him, good luck to him in restoring his reputation.
  9. Its not a critical blow, since I'm able to fill the void. This might even be a time of improvement, seeing how Diadochi handled this issue. Escalating it by doing a spy op and then abandoning the alliance isn't what a good Minister of Foreign Affairs would do. If they mess up, they try to fix the situation. If they want to resign, they should make sure a replacement is lined up and its not right after they got the AA they're on attacked. You are praising Diadochi, but had he done the same as a member of SNX; your viewpoint of him would be completely different. I doubt you would let him leave without pursuit. You're right on having no responsibility to assist if we don't have a treaty, but somehow I think you're referring to if we had a treaty you still wouldn't need to. You don't strike me as the type who would jump in for an ally who is in a lopsided war, since from your viewpoint if they're getting curb stomped and you aren't; they must have deviated from your viewpoint.
  10. Everyone doesn't need to be with you or against you; we don't need a treaty if you're unlikely to back Alonso when he breaks whatever you consider the norms. You think every alliance needs to fit a certain mold and can't stand it when people deviate from it. Although alliances and how they function can evolve from experimenting with new ideas I see nothing wrong with trying something different, even if it breaks your norms. I think you use treaties as a way of trying enforce your norms on other alliances, although I think the way we function is better and SNX policy would be a downgrade. If that treaty was still active, would you have countered TAT even if it meant also fighting SLAP? If the answer to that is you wouldn't have been willing to jump in under such circumstances, that treaty wouldn't have mattered here. Its only purpose would be for you to try using to try influencing us politically, as a control mechanism.
  11. Sometimes things happen in life which are out of your control and you don't have access to a computer for a day because of an emergency. Being on Skype at different times than the rest of gov doesn't mean he was withholding information. You just weren't online at the same time as him and he didn't have the time to be on all day. You were attacked and chose to abandon the alliance rather than try resolving the situation, leaving us with no MoFA when we had a diplomatic issue which needed to be dealt with. Me and Alonso ended up reaching out to Stonewall in order to resolve it. However you left as you were the only nuclear POSSE nation fighting Stonewall & the other POSSE nations fighting him had no military wonders. So you really left them hanging and the alliance when suddenly our MoFA quits in the middle of a crisis. As long as you aren't acting against our interests, we won't have reason to attack you. I don't think trying to throw blame around and continue arguing about this is to your benefit. I suggest you keep your head down for a while and wait for this to blow over.
  12. Avoiding any situation where Umbrella would need to choose between friends is another reason we've decided to make an attempt at fully deescalating this situation. The guy who escalated beyond the initial raid with a spy op has left, so hopefully Stonewall will appreciate our offer to end this war on all fronts and everyone can move on. We should all take some time to build up our nations for more exciting wars in the future. If things do continue to escalate, it won't be because we didn't at least attempt to end it first. We're willing to forgive all wars declared against our side, as long as they peace out all wars against ours. So lets give peace a chance.
  13. Why wouldn't it matter? They're not in range to fight the person who they use as an excuse. It just makes it clear what Alonso was doing had nothing to do with this, if anything it was a calculated move to form an alliance where he wouldn't be in range to fight anyone in "The A Team" They should be upfront they attacked because they thought they had the raid advantage in their NS tier, rather than make up other excuses.
  14. Let's not pretend you or Stonewall are doing this because you are anti-raiding. Alonso is clearly not even close to being in range of anyone in The A Team, so using his actions as an excuse seems petty. I would wish Stonewall luck with the alliance, but he's not off to a good start attacking my friends for no reason.
  15. First come, first serve. We need a nation who can switch to brown and aluminum/wheat asap. We have all the other nations for 3Br + Uranium/Fish lined up. Send me a trade offer first with the right resources/color or send me a PM if you're interested in joining the circle. http://www.cybernations.net/nation_drill_display.asp?Nation_ID=600467
  16. Junka bringing up moderation issues when challenged makes him not worth engaging. The reason they've been independent of macro politics for some time is his rise to leadership. It's easy to see the traits of a failed state when looking at SNX and his nation.
  17. I remember a certain warrior King saying the greatest honor is to die on the battlefield (300), then rest of the nation states in the area rising up against the Imperials they fought to death against impossible numbers knowing it would be the end. They chose to go down fighting rather than silently into the night. Seemingly everyone compelled to follow their lead should be of concern for you. You're still talking about of about these people after they're gone, which is a victory for them. They didn't disappear silently, but have been immortalized and both had enough followers to be Senators. You seem to embrace you being their chosen enemy on their way out. Maybe we are already in Valhalla, where warriors can fight forever? Violent Delights have violent ends.
  18. Wasn't this thread about Legion and not SNX? Is SNX going to defend Legion or what does SNX have to do with this? I'm more interested in how Legion is doing despite attacks on 2 fronts now.
  19. I'm glad to see this announced. o/ The Protectorate o/ AGW Overlords
