Perhaps then you could point us all to the OWF thread where Blood Pack issued its declaration of existence, charter, and a handy list of protectors/treaty partners for reference sake.  Aside from reassuring Mogar you are aren't a pack of nuke rogues or mercenaries, it would be good to know that you are instead running a legitimate alliance.  Certainly as a friend of IRON and Umbrella, I like to try to keep friendly fire incidents to a minimum, and I'd hate it if someone from Valhalla accidentally raided a friend of a friend.

Do you have friends? I thought you just had meatshields.

  2. Keep it up and we'll sanction not just you, but also your wives and children

Now this is just going too far, sir. Baby Mama and I can take your slings and arrows, but you leave the kiddos out of this. Krihelion and Stewie are already taking enough damage from WTF. :v:

Kashmir should keep tight on the sanctions or ready themselves for a rap battle that will tear these forums asunder. :smug:

  3. Secondly, and more importantly,Kashmir believes that on a fundamental level, the treaty web is a lie. Our first approach to educate the Cyberverse, the Kashmir Co Prosperity Sphere, attempted to fundamentally re-adress the issue of legal language and treaty signing, but it was received poorly by people too mired in the past to understand it. Now, we keep our foreign relations simple; we have our friends, and we need no pieces of paper to hold them to us. relationships, and not ultimately unenforceable contracts, are the glue between sovereign states and alliances both. We invite all other free leaders to follow this model and experience the freedom it brings to dialogue (both internal and external) and to the political process.

But elawyers need their jerbs and planners need their strings to pull. Some like hookups and some like marriage. Some like to nurse their blue bombs for six years and then blow them on the next DBDC that comes along (looking at you, WTF).  No need to fight about the type of love. If it's love, it's alllllrriiiight.

  4. To fulfill the requirements of the One Big Happy Family Accords:

Please allow the sanctions to lapse
It's just an error in Mogar's synapse
His brain came down with a rash
    From stroking KingZog's voluptuous mustache
Let Yellow and Pink turn on the taps

  5. I understand, but don't agree with, where you are coming from.

The fundamental difference between you and I is you believe that once you are allied to someone/on their side you toe the party line. I don't. Similarly I believe you can disagree with someone on some points but support them on others.

Mogars tech deal with soldiers was clear provocation. Cubas response was over the top and unneeded. The fact that DBDC agreed to hold the NAP is not a testiment to their benevolence, but rather a credence to their rash and often unpredictable nature.

Just because one was wrong doesn't make the other right. And just because I disagree with you on point A doesn't make me your enemy for point B.

The response wasn't really over-the-top. Symbolic, maybe. Pink is pretty much DBDC's domain at this point, and I doubt Mogar would do much of anything with anyone on that team. A maroon sanction would hurt worse, but I haven't heard any discussion about that. That probably won't happen without discussion with RIA thanks to the Big Happy Family Accords.

Really it's just trolling by both sides. DBDC could have just let things slide with a talk to Ogaden, but decided to tweak Mogar a bit. Just because they're bigger, doesn't mean they have any obligation to ignore provocation. Mogar's just upset that it is alone on this one.

  6. Caliph... Is that you Caliph? :lol1:

Either that, or its another one of those folks who thinks just because THEY say something they know little to nothing about, that their opinion must indeed be fact.

Does WTF have allies? Other than getting intelligence from Fark. Because I don't think that's going to help.

I'm calling you out, Franz Ferdinand. Asa has just shown that you have not been updating the wiki enough. I expect to see a full rundown of their allies by tomorrow.

  7. Yeah, Dajobo is known for being notoriously nice...just ask Tywin.

I have no idea how Dajobo has survived our forums. Grub makes sure his posts are long enough that you can't see anything but his words in a thread. I never knew there were so many ways to say "I don't like you and enjoy telling you that". It's one of his many charms.

  8. YOU flat out told tapley in-game you were hitting a rogue nation. Everyone with reading skills and who checked his war history could plainly see he wasn't one.

So, were you making up stories then with the excuse you used? Or now?

Were you misled? Or just lying?

He chose to hit a rogue even if it rustled WTF's jimmies. Really, it's Mogar who should be upset. It's the only one who gets to rustle jimmies around here.

  9. Welcome to 2015. There are ten posters and I am one of them.

Make more comics. That'll slow you down.

Also, I don't view any of this as a reflection on RIA. They are simply doing every other AA a favor by giving Mogar a home so it can't spam other AAs with apps.

This is a post about stewie folks.

Everything is about Stewie. The "blame Caustic" angle went out with the last war against NpO. Honestly, none of this would have happened if you had accepted him as overarching neutral Vice Roi.

So now that CT is down for whatever reason, I expect to see far fewer unsurprising revelations about DBDC's plans to destroy Bob. This makes me slightly sad. Perhaps WTF could post more ODN diplomacy. We can't have friends looking out for each other. Don't let Schattermang beat you to the scoop.

  11. Imagine being a giant retarded baby and arguing that this tech deal is an act of war but all the other tech deals aren't.

Imagine thinking that soldiers are a standard part of the tech deal. Or that tech deals must be accompanied by a DoW. Sending soldiers is aggressive, breaking an NAP. DBDC has decided not to pursue this with RIA, beyond whatever fine they agreed to.

No one wants to escalate this beyond the standard non decision makers. Not RIA. Not DBDC. Not even WTF, or they would be pursuing DBDC's sellers like NpO attempted to.
  12. Farkistan is the only AA barred from sending soldiers to Cuba. WTF has no treaties with anyone else, which seems to be a point of pride on their part. I'm sure that no one in Fark has plans to send DBDC anything.

I doubt WTF really wants to widen the war. Many high-tier nations still have a large WC since the birds raided most of their opponents in the war. Frankly, DBDC has lasted a long time with the amount of AAs they've gone through. Lack of targets was a pretty big complaint at NG during the war. To NpO's credit, smaller and active nations like mine did burn through our WCs, but it doesn't take much to keep us going or rebuild us. I can usually make one round of aid last ten days. And it took about 2 weeks to rebuild.

Ogaden acknowledged that RIA has a NAP in place with DBDC and paid a tech penalty. Pretty sure any drama from this has already backfired. So, I guess Mogar was hoping for a thread? Maybe it should have made up an anniversary like everyone else.

  13.

I ran the econ side of things at Valhalla for a couple of years before moving up.  If he can't take the jab, he shouldn't be doing econ.  It requires a thicker skin than most positions.  The *point* is that he needs to stop using other people as a threat.  That is not his place.

DBDC can speak up for themselves if they disagree. That they haven't means bad times for Valhalla. Speculation is not a monopoly of AA leadership. They usually have to be more careful since they can't just be kicked from the AA if they make someone angry.

Are you angry, Mr. Hal? Perhaps you should have a long talk with Caustic. He's got choice photographs that will ease your worries and make you forget all about the big, bad DBDC. Or you could always visit the NG forums. Yours is the only embassy that we will never archive.

And don't worry about my skin. I've been banned from #nongrata, #grata, the IRON forums, and the Non Grata forums. Made it back to all four in one piece. I think I can handle a jolly "Viking pat on the back with a knife".

In the meantime, WTF should be having more fun now than they've ever had. I wonder if they'll join us in the treaty web now that they have a little radiation in their blood. They'd probably be better off making peace and joining up with a couple other AAs. Even just having Fark by their side in an ODP would make things more difficult for DBDC.

  14.

If you actually believed what you were typing, you'd be working on getting a treaty that gives something to WTF, say a declaration from DBDC that they admit aggression and will respect declarations of neutrality by all alliances, including WTF's, for an extended period.  Length to be negotiated but something along the lines of 6 months or more.

Or we can all sit back and watch while the last of the WTF nations in DBDC's range drop down to the point that they can no longer declare wars and this ends unproductively.

Sorry, Hal, DBDC will not be recognizing your neutrality anytime soon, so I would approve of the first option if it freed their resources to focus on Val.

But the latter option is more likely. Inertia is always hard to break, and DBDC should look at WTF as a threat to their goals at this point.

  15. I think this is great.

The whole of CN can see how DBDC deflect wars, attention and diplomacy to other lap dog aa's. They seem to be unable to handle anything their selves. DBDC are basically happy to throw their allies under the bus.

The whole world can also see how DBDC allies act so immorally to please DBDC.

I think these are enormous warning signs. Everyone involved in this for DBDC has ruined their reputation. One of my missions is just to make things visible for everyone to see. DBDC and its slave aa's will be under very close scrutiny from now on. From its tech income to its slimy war tactics DBDC will be watched.

Ah, the moralist champion who raided until the very end. At least Tywin could back up his rantings.

May I ask, why are you on Team None? Is it possible that you are sanctioned as a rogue on every color? If so, why would WTF be surprised when you're attacked by outside AAs? Rogues are open season, after all. If WTF has long known that you were considered a rogue (you've been sanctioned on maroon since 2/3), then they can't really consider you a member in good standing. If it weren't for their war, you would have been booted to a micro months ago.

Non Grata has had rogue members. They either leave the AA or take their lumps and then we negotiate for their return. We don't defend them. They made their choice. You have made your choice. And WTF has made their choice. They don't recognize the wishes of the wider community. They have decided to spread the conflict to other AAs. What happens now will be determined in gov negotiation at best and in nuclear silos at worst.

  16.

Stewie sent a pm to tapley, which seemed to display tears. You dont agree?

I am very happy to be at war for months tbh it really does not bother me.

But i am not a rogue so Non Grata run the risk of ruining their reputation just like ODN are just to lick up to DBDC.

And dont say that you help DBDC because they helped you. Because i was DBDC when we got you peace. And i fought wars for NG through DBDC.

Non Grata and ODN may be called up on this in the future.

Stewie let Tapley know that he was risking a wider conflict to defend a known rogue. Tapley is going to get the worst of that encounter by far. Stewie barely fought in the DoomWar, and Tapley barely has a warchest. Soft NS on Tapley's part doesn't help.

I've dealt with two other nuclear rogues when I didn't have a Manhattan Project or SDI. I kept on them for the full war. Not scared of another rogue and his neutral friends.

  17. Its funny that some of you question whether i am a rogue or not when your pathetic meat shields from allied aa's come and go freely without any questions. Hypocrites. I suggest you drop the subject until DBDC stop begging allies for other nations to effectively become rogues themselves.

P.S i am shocked that stewie was hurt about the WTF declaration. Stewie i held you higher then that tbh. HMM whatever

Stewie hasn't complained once. The rest of us are a little protective of him since he's the only guy that keeps us out of trouble.

At least the dates line up as I thought they did. CT made his choice and we will consider him a rogue until WTF pulls his keister out of the fire.
