I swear someone dropped a log to me with petro claiming to have seen more than just Chaunce's warchest?
-
I'm unaware of any unaddressed concerns mi6 has, so wouldn't agree with that categorization.
You are unaware that Petro spied upon MI6 nations or unaware he acted like a chimp when questioned about it?
-
True but that still qualifies as ODN signing off on and wilfully participating in a plan knowing it will get their ally rolled. I'm not accusing them of that though and even stated in the OP that they may actually be the ones stopping it happening.
We'll know soon! This is ODN we are talking about right?
-
It's time to work through some chains so people can lie and deny. It will give us amusement later.
The worst kept secret on Bob right now is that MI6 are to be rolled. Let's look at the chains and ramifications though and we can play "spot the traitor".
When it's over, we can come back to this thread and see who nailed it.
First I'll make some basic assumptions.
Given the rumours of a hit on MI6 have been around and loud for a while now, it's safe to say savvy alliances like TPF, ODN and STA are aware of them.
TPF aren't an alliance to ignore treaties and their recent history shows they will enter on a losing side to honour them. Therefore we can assume TFP help MI6.
STA have been close to TPF for sometime now and IMO share a mentality that their word and their allies mean everything to them. Despite non-chaining clauses and irrespective of what relation does or does not exist between STA and MI6, if TPF are being pounded STA will help them.
So far this is just common sense, but now we get to the interesting bit.
ODN are MDP allies to STA and it's ODN's own allies who are likely to be doing the attacking. This raises a few question and is where we get to play guessing games.
Have ODN already signed off on this and will play the "non-chaining" card to leave STA in the lurch? IRON and Valhalla both have done this in recent wars and proven it is repercussion free.
Have ODN been great allies and is this very issue the reason it hasn't happened yet?
Is ODN being sold out by their own allies and told this isn't happening?
If this happened and ODN honoured their treaty with STA, would CnG still be an MADP bloc or would that be ignored?
Will we see the return of the Optional jokes?
Am I totally wrong in the first place? The best part of being retired is being out of the loop and able to speculate again :DI hear Sengoku are being rather provocative over spy attacks.
I blame Myth.

Wait.
We are up to something?Must be. Apparently it is something nefarious.

What could possibly go wrong...
Valhalla could maybe attack both of us.
Perish the thought.

The other factions I won’t name, I’m not going to be accused of trying to drive a wedge. They exist though and they are the reason this world is getting interesting. Several of them have talked to me and they are all in the same boat, trying to tow the line now while preparing for the future. The common belief is straight forward, Polar and/or MI6 can be hit once, maybe even twice to stave off the collapse and buy time but then the coalition splits. This is where it gets interesting. People are trying to find a place where they can support a war and play their part while being in a position post war to buddy up with some of the alliances they will be hitting. How do you attack the people you will need and not pay for it later?
Maybe Polar and MI6 could declare on each other and really leave the current powers stumped? :P

I am jealous of all the fun you are about to have.

Frankly, Mr. Bond, if this is the intelligence of the average MI6er, it's small wonder that every operation the organization engages in results in millions of dollars in damages.
This is true. Do not forget it either ;)

Let's take a moment and tease out the points that Partisan is trying to make.
This sentence alone tells me you do not understand any of the "points" Partisan is making.
But by all means, please continue :P

It is you, Myth the Martyr. A valiant foe yet foolish all the same. Have you crossed the Rubicon of insanity once again in hopes of elevating your meager existence through death-by-write?
Myth the victim, Chim the martyr. Get it right o'mighty and enlightened pen. :p

At least he's posting about his war activities rather than his poaching activities.
#idiotI don't think Doch would be a very effective poacher to be honest, he is rather gruff :P

Top 10 and then top 5 Knock out rounds.
We need to make sure this is accurate. -
"I literally don't know when I'm defeated"
Quintus: People should know when they are conquered.Maximus: Would you, Quintus? Would I?Seems oddly fitting. -
Now then, peace was reached quickly thanks to the efforts of those with more level-heads and decency than IYIyTh or TheListener. They told me that there were others who felt that certain people within MI6 had become too heavy-handed in their "leadership" on the forums and that if we could reach a peaceful solution it would go a long way in proving that open discussion and good faith are better than harsh censorship and thick-headedness. This was my exact response word for word, and I'm certain the MI6er in question can verify it if they wish to join the discussion in this thread:
As the person primarily involved in these peace talks I can confirm this much.
Censorship matters aside, I didn't see much advantage in going to war in the lower tiers with a nation who was intent on nuking our sellers over an extended period of time for something as trivial as censorship. That was the primary factor in my motivations to seek peace.
Just bad business.

Something different is afoot.

I am shocked!

Can we expect a brown senate war other than this current methrage inspired chaos?

How exactly did Petro view other MI6 warchests without spying?
Has the almighty admin granted us a new spy operation which allows warchests to be viewed without a spy op being performed?
Please go on and elaborate on this new development.
