After reading through this thread, it becomes clear how little class TOP has. It's not often that you hear this much crying. It seems to be a trend during this war. TOP/Umb/GOONS, you guys could learn a lot from your allies over at C&G. Hell, even MK has been mostly respectable during this war.

So basically this is what happened:
1. Equilibrium alliances come to TOP to discuss peace
2. NPO declares war on TOP so that AI is represented in the peace talks
3. TOP members laugh at NPO needing to exert control over their allies
4. Idiots accuse TOP of whining and secret plotting

This is a pretty destructive war but BiPolar was insane. TOP was a 220 nation Umbrella and CnG was at their peak. That front was absolutely brutal. I remember we had 100 members on IRC coordinating. I don't think we will ever match that again just due to the state of the game.

It makes perfect sense to me to keep you and your allies on the ropes as long as it takes to force a resolution suitably favourable to the aggrieved party, AI. The longer this takes the better. A year? Short time, my friend, short time. A year is nothing. If you arent ready to drag this out twice that long you might as well just surrender now and throw yourselves on the mercy of TronIX.
No one cares about collecting taxes and growing steadily when they could be nuking bad guys instead and that is just a fact.
You are delusional if you think Equilibrium can stay together for even close to a year. You guys are about to fall apart after a few weeks. :laugh:

We have always sided with our closest friends in every war. Where we messed up in the past was hanging onto conflicting treaties until it was too late. That is a valid criticism. To say we just abandon our friends to join the winning side is nothing more than you spewing !@#$ to paint us in a bad light. -

PF and IRON were obviously very important to us but in the end we were closer to MK and shared the same goals as them. -

Sure, if PF and IRON joined the DH/C&G side of the web we would have more power. But we never considered dropping MK, and that seems to be the whole reason we are no longer allies. -

Told us what? You think we didn't know sticking with MK would lead to this? We don't abandon our friends for political expedience. MK has been our closest ally since the Unholy Alliance was signed and I would much rather fight a tough war with my friends than a curbstomp with SF/XX/Polar.
Anyway, I'm happy to see this. This should be the first good war in a few years. -
