  1. The current power structure would simply prevent any court with any real power from forming. Alliances prefer to do things their own way

  2. Probably an oversight, or maybe that CIS did something to tick them off. It doesn't matter, complaining on public forums will only invite ridicule, Private Channels FTW posts, and trolling and won't get you anywhere

  3. In fact, let me draft MK's new nuclear policy, in accordance with NPO's surrender demands:

Mushroom Kingdom condemns the use of a nuclear first-strike. Only conventional warfare is acceptable for first strikes. Incidentally, nuclear missiles have recently been reclassified as "conventional weapons" within the Mushroom Kingdom.

There. It fits with Pacifica's demands. Problem solved.

It makes it easier to exclude their next target that way.

Better yet, say that Mushroom Kingdom condemns all nuclear first strikes but any conventional first strikes will result in a nuclear second strike :awesome:

  4. I think it acts as a deterrent to going into peace mode in future wars. Peace mode nations can very easily drop out mid war and unleash a second wave of attacks (especially if it involves nukes, as that can push the diminished taxes +20 days), and give aid to warring nations (after dropping out). So I think the rationale is to make sure that everyone is destroyed as quickly as possible and with minimum retaliatory damage. Plus it also retards the rebuilding process after the war if the peace mode nations are beaten down, a good way to prevent the opposing alliance getting back up for any revenge

  5. The true test for Vox will be if they stick together when they are inevitably pushed down after a long period of fighting. FAN has managed to pass this particular test by the inability of those in power to completely crush them. I wonder if Vox will have the same stamina?

  6. I think selling off infrastructure and land is a bad idea, I think a better plan is

Get a massive warchest (no particular limit in mind but start with hundreds of millions), as much tech as you can grab, buy a Weapons Research Complex, (and other necessary wonders for it) so you can buy two nukes per day and enhance tech damage, get the Manhattan Project, Hidden Nuke Silo, SDI (to get the enemy to deplete their stockpile faster), a CIA and 800 spies (to stop pesky nuke saboteurs), a host of economic wonders so you can escape to peace mode and make a profit+rearm nukes for another round when you hit the bottom of the Strength Ladder.

Start by attacking the top-most nations with the most infrastructure, especially if they have no SDI. When you are battered down after a lengthy war and run out of nukes, fight conventionally and try and escape to peace mode to re-buy nukes and then declare against the nations that are within your new strength range (who are likely to not have nukes themselves) and run amok as you can easily get your nukes through, if it becomes too intense, then just ride it out into peace mode or fight conventionally with your warchest until the inevitable economic crash sets in

  7. If you plan on getting more infrastructure, then get the Interstate

Also I think that getting the Pentagon was a pretty poor choice for being paranoid of war, I would have opted for an SDI, Manhattan Project or some other better wonder. In fact the only reason I can see that anyone would want to get a Pentagon would be for the Weapons Research Complex (I will get that next wonder cycle)

  8. Land is much less easily destroyable then infrastructure (only successful ground battles and nukes can touch it) and it costs no upkeep, which can make it quite ideal in a war for money making when infrastructure is being destroyed wholesale
