A frozen continent with very few people on it; at least that is what it appeared to be for the longest time. It had taken years since Tianxia ended its formal protection of the windswept white continent and over that time a monumental construction project continued. A project that had been going on for a very long time and involved millions of people. The cost of the endeavor was not imaginable, so high that many nation-states themselves could not fund such a endeavor. However, the combination of wealthy entrepreneurs and venture capitalists helped jump start this project. A people had lived underground for so long in sometimes awful conditions. But now they would have a formidable home and, for the first time, declare their existence to the world. The massive collapse of nations around the world resulted in so much instability that they hoped a new nation rising in an unsuspecting place would bring at least some joy to an almost anarchic world.

"Do you think this is how we will come out to the world - do you think this is how we want to come out to the world? What you have done could cost us our legitimacy, our privacy, and possibly even our sovereignty. It has been a very long time since we had to execute someone, over ten years. You understand why we are having this conversation Eli, right?" A man in rags had his wrists bound together in chains. He was shivering but trying to keep his arms still because blood from his arms had froze to the steel chain links. He hadn't been tortured, but trying to escape proved futile when chained in a prison cell. He ultimately had done it to himself. "My King, please. There have been others who have done worse then what I did. Thieves who steel millions from the public, people who take advantage of others. I'm sure there's been others that have wronged you? My King I couldn't resist, you must understand-"

The King stood from his thrown and shouted, "I MUST UNDERSTAND? IF THIS WOULD HAVE GOTTEN OUT YOU WOULD HAVE DAMNED ME, AND EVERYONE ELSE! THIS IS TREASON!" The man shuttered and looked away with fear. The King collected himself and sat back down on his thrown. The guards in the room could feel the tension lingering. "We are having this conversation," the King continued, "because I have been in your position before. I was sentenced to death before - though wrongly - and I truly thought I was going to die. I know how that feels." The man was waiting for the King to give some big revelation. "I hope that gives you comfort; guards, take him to the the end chamber." The King didn't give a big revelation.

"NOOO! NO! STOP! MERCY MERCY!!" The man kicked and screamed while two formally dressed guards hauled the man off to a chamber downstairs which led to a small hallway. The hallway left the palace underground and went about three-hundred feet away to an icy room the size of a neighborhood swimming pool. "PLEASE! PLEASE!" the man screamed. The guards didn't relent. They knew what he had done. Inside the room, which had walls and ceiling of ice, was a pool of water. It looked normal, but it wasn't. It was heated by geothermal activity farther below. Any hotter, and it most likely would boil. The mans screams were heard only for a little bit, and then they stopped. It was considered the best form of execution in the kingdom. Guns scared people who lived in the cities, the guillotine brought forth revolutionary ideas that the Kingdom could not afford, lethal injection would be nice but the chemicals were hard to get in that part of the world, and the electric-chair and gas chambers were not considered humane. It had been done this way for a long time, but that doesn't mean anyone liked it.

The King was still sitting on his thrown and read one of the morning papers for the capitol. It was more information about new construction projects around the capitol. After the Kingdom went public, they would begin above-ground building on the coast. That would surely be interesting, and costly. But hopefully it could bring in more food and fish. A tall woman only a few inches shorter than the King walked in with her hands folded behind her back. "Husband," she said as she took each step up to the thrown next to the King's. "Wife," he said likewise. "What do you think of the girl?" They sat at the same time. "Give her some time," said the Queen, "and we can help her out. She's still really shaken up. That man is a monster for taking advantage of a servant like that. She is only a servant but she is under our protection... Men can be so cruel. Did you....?" The king folded the paper and set it down on his lap. An eager servant approached the thrown and bowed respectfully before offering him tea. He grabbed a cup and smiled at the girl who silently offered some to the Queen and then walked away. "He is no more. He wont be a threat to the kingdom's girls, or our reputation. I still think it may have been more appropriate to jail him, but you felt pretty strong about this."

The Queen didn't want to admit it was her doing that resulted in a man's death. It was true, but she felt guilt sometimes. "He deserved to die, even though it ended our ten year record of life. We'll make a new record in eleven years, my King." The King sipped his tea again in silent agreement. The rest of that Sunday morning was peaceful. A few decisions needed to be made, but the King's cabinet was hard at work to keep the kingdom working smoothly and growing steadily. The King decided to take a stroll through one of the capitol exclaves. It was a large dome above the surface of Antarctica. It had the capability of being made transparent and keeping snow/ice off of it to allow sunlight in and sight to the outside world, but for reasons of secrecy it had not been activated for some time. The international community had better things to do than have its spy satellites scanning Antarctica for a white dome on a white land, but the King still didn't want to take any chances. Similar domes were around the continent, but the capitol's was the largest. There were also large underground facilities which the Royal Government was trying not to make more of, but instead focus on moving above ground. That was why they were, in part, making their existence public after being secretive for so long. Rather declare than be discovered.

Two guards followed behind the King at a safe distance, but there wasn't much if any threat from citizens in the capitol. "Your Majesty, good day to you!" one man shouted. The King waved back to him. Other civilians didn't block his path but waved and greeted him. "Make way for the king!" shouted a merchant who quickly moved his fruit cart from the King's path. he tossed the monarch an apple, and the King happily took a bite of the green wonder. "Thank you Stan! Have a good day!" The civilians were going about their Sunday afternoons. Most people were not working, but enjoying the "outside" which was really the interior controlled climate of the dome. The King enjoyed his last few minutes of peaceful security in a world no one else knew existed. He returned to the Royal Palace and got his family together. The Queen, Crown Prince, and the Princess were all together, waiting for their patriarch. He buttoned his suit and fashioned his sash which consisted of a royal blue and a lighter blue, and then two stripes of white.

"What do you think they'll think of us?" the Crown Prince asked his father while the television crew prepared the live introduction that would be broadcast worldwide, or at least as far north as their signals from the Antarctic could get - though it would surely reach South America, Africa, Australia, and southern Asia. "I just hope they don't judge us by our appearance. Some people tend to dislike others who are different from them. I'd say we are pretty different from them culturally, and physically to some extent." Oh I left that out, damn. They have blue hair - all of them. And pale skin that could probably be compared to Scandinavians. Living underground for so long, not just a lifetime but generations upon generations, left them a little different.

The lights flashed on, and the Royal Family stood still. King Mark Snow stood tall next to his family. The Queen held onto his arm as if he was going to escort her somewhere. "Good evening nations of the world, peoples of the world, and fellow leaders. I am King Mark Snow, sovereign of Antarctica. My people have been here for generations, upon generations. We've observed world wars, expeditions to our home, and the evolution of your people which helped inspire our own economically and through infrastructure. It has been a very long time, a very very long time, since we have had contact with the outside world, but I would like to extend a peaceful declaration of our existence, because it seems our presence has been forgotten, mostly due to our own ambition to remain in our own part of the world and left alone. Now that we are stable politically, culturally, and economically I thought it would be best to show you all that we are here, and we mean no harm. We are capable of defending ourselves, but have no ambitions on conquering foreign lands. We can feed ourselves, provide energy, and we have been doing so for a long time.

"I can understand how this may seem like a hoax or an unreal prank that someone is trying to pull. To prove our legitimacy, I ask the Empire of Tianxia to closely observe the sea outside of Sydney Harbor in Australia. A fully armed submarine will surface and shoot off a blue flair. I have ordered them to not make contact, but I hope that their presence can prove our existence one way or another. A small fleet of submarines will be off the coast of King George Island, next to the Antarctic Peninsula. If anyone would like to meet our sailors there with diplomats, I'd be happy to have them escorted to the capitol here in Antarctica to talk to me personally and answer any questions. I hope to hear from someone soon."

The camera shut off and the signal ended. The fleet stationed off the Antarctic coast now just waited for anyone to come. Anyone at all.

  2. Anthony enjoyed sunsets more than he did he did sunrises. Sure sunrises represented a new beginning but a sunset meant it was time to think. You have just completed one of the many plentiful yet still precious days in your life. Now that the sun was down it was time to reflect on the decisions you made and the progress that you achieved through the small tasks and major undertakings that combined together make a small fraction of your life. Your only task now was to review and maybe plan for later, but it was now a time of rest unless you were really ambitious. Anthony was usually ambitious, but the only thing he could do now was think. He narrowed down his options to three or four regarding the war, but he was having trouble choosing the best of the worst. A Sparks had not made a decision this important in a very long time.

After the sun faded into twilight and twilight faded into oblivion, Anthony and Olivia walked about a mile and a half to a small beach house that he owned. He had to pull a lot of strings to be able to build a residence in a State Park, but that little place was a decision that he had no regret for. It wasn't huge and sprawling. It was small, but it looked nice from the outside for sure. The light blue paint was pealing in some places, but if anything that gave it more character. In the back of the home was a wooden deck facing the beach. It had a wooden table and a few chairs along with a swinging bench on chains. A Texas flag gently fluttered in the wind while it hung from the wall of the house facing the porch. The crashing waves of the ocean could be heard perfectly from there. Anthony didn't want to go to bed yet, he still had his thinking to do. Olivia still had probing to do.

Olivia leaned on his shoulder and slowly twirled her hair with two of her fingers while they both watched the night sea. "What do you think will happen if congress votes down the war?" she said. "I doubt the UK is just going to to accept that we launched an attack on them like that. I'm sure they're going to think it was planned to be done on purpose. Will we have to.. surrender?" Anthony put his arm around her and held her close and then addressed her valid question. "We would have to offer some type of reparations. But I think to even consider them I think the president will need to resign. Even though my sources in the Octagon tell me it wasn't his fault the British probably wont ever believe that, it is just too simple of an explanation that the admiral in control of the fleet gave the wrong order. Anna would be sworn in as president and a new vice president would have to be appointed. I'm not sure of Anna would want the job though, I know she likes her work in the Senate. That would mean Speaker Coin would be the next in line for the president. Coin could do the job, but if he would want it is a different question.

"After the President resigns and, let's say it's Anna, takes the Oath of Office, she would probably have to make a cease-of-hostilities proclamation and either go to the UK or send the Secretary of State. After that I don't know what the British will want. Best case scenario they'll want us to pay for the ships and give some type of reparation to the families of the soldiers. Worst case scenario they want something ridiculous and we actually have to stay in the war. It's a war we can probably win, but it isn't one that we should fight. I think it mainly hangs on the president resigning and the British being reasonable in the peace talks. That's what it comes down to." Olivia thought that he had processed this in his mind pretty well, but that didn't make the situation any better.

Anthony's phone buzzed. He ignored it. It buzzed again and this time Olivia picked it up. "Anthony, it's the Lieutenant Governor. He said...." she read over a lengthy text and handed him the phone.  "The Nationalist Caucus is going to propose a resolution entitled, 'Texas Independence.'"

Anthony threw the phone onto the wooden floor, "Or we could secede and say it's not or problem. I guess that's always an option too... I don't know how this could get any worse." He stood up and helped her up by the arm. He opened  the sliding glass door and then closed it shut behind them. He turned around and she was gone. She flicked off the light in his room and turned on his radio. "Come to bed governor."

I tend to agree with others on this point.  x10 soldiers helps all evenly.  What it does d is enable nations to get bigger.  I am against nations getting much smaller than they are now, because that's too much white space, I want people to be next t each other and have reason to trade and interact.  RPs about just taking white space are super lamesauce.

Sometimes it's nice to have neighbors, but I don't remember the last time anyone RPed trade :P

Immediately following confirmation that the government of Tikal had collapsed, the 10,000 troops of the Texas National Guard stationed in Hawaii would immediately take control of the other islands and military facilities on the islands. All strategic, economic, and communications outposts would be seized as quickly as possible.  Defensive positions were taken by the troops after having been given orders from command to secure the Hawaiian islands. A brief international proclamation was made that the Plains Federation National Guard was now protecting the Hawaiian islands. The proclamation explicitly stated that the only troops there were there to keep peace and defend the islands. No offensive measures were being planned from the islands, and no weapons were being produced or shipped to or out of the islands.

  5. The glowing orange orb in the sky crept closer and closer to the western horizon. Anthony's black pants were rolled up halfway to his knees. He had left his jacket, tie, and shoes in his truck along with two Texas Rangers who reluctantly let their governor venture off unprotected with Olivia. The first three buttons on his white short were unfastened which allowed the constant ocean breeze to captivate his upper chest. His toes sunk into the sand while seawater lightly splashed against his feet which were momentarily covered in bubbly foam. His hair was still combed but it had been a long day, so it was casually whipping in the breeze.

    line1151.jpg

Olivia had already changed out of her work clothes. She was wearing a pair of jean-shorts and a Jack-Daniels t-shirt. Her red hair dangled far down her back but was constantly blown to one side or another by the wind. She held Anthony's hand and followed alongside him down the never-ending beach. Galveston was a very long island, only a small portion of it was the "City of Galveston", as far as businesses and homes went. Much of the island was like how it was hundreds of years ago with peaceful beaches, rolling sand-dunes, and tall grasses. They were at the southern beach of the mid-West part of the island and it seemed there was no one for miles. They were alone at one of Anthony's most favorite places in Texas.

"Here will be fine," he said. He unfolded a white beach towel and quickly put it down on the sand for both of them to sit on. Olivia let David sit first, and then she sat right next to him; so close that their shoulders were touching. "Cold?" he questioned. She nodded. It was a lie, a white lie. She just wanted to be connected with him for a bit like she was right there. "I've never been here before. I've been to Galveston a few times but not this part of the island. How did you find out about this place?" Anthony looked out towards the sunset and thought for a while. "I came here to raise money for a man who was running for mayor a couple of elections back. One night he and I just kept driving west until we got to about here. We made a fire and split a six-pack. He was ultimately the guy that made me want to run for governor... Since then I've always thought of this place as my 'happy place.'"

Olivia was satisfied. She leaned her head on his shoulder and looked out into the open sea. "What are all of those ships doing out there? I thought most of them come out from the Houston Ship Channel on the other side of the island?" she said. David looked down at the sand and shook his head, "I called Admiral Teach this morning and mobilized the Maritime National Guard. I didn't want Galveston or Houston to be a target just because we had a bunch of ships in port. They're taking a defensive position in the Gulf of Mexico until given further orders. I hope they don't get further orders Olivia. I really don't." She put an arm around him and scooted closer so both sides of their bodies were touching. "Do you think we're going to go to war governor? Like, I know Texas has a lot of votes in the House and a lot of the other States respect your word... Are you going to give the representatives any advice on how to vote?"

A lone seagull swooped overhead. It went out to the sea for about fifty feet and then turned around to scan the beach for edible litter. The lone bird seemed lost and worried. It wasn't with its flock and it had to make decisions on its own until it found them again. Anthony could relate to the bird's situation. "I think war is the last thing the Plains Federation needs. It is the last thing Texas needs for sure. We are doing so well economically, we are politically stable, we have relatively good neighbors who respect us and we can respect them back... Why should we be involved in European affairs? I don't even see what the British did wrong here. I have no idea what is going on, but it just doesn't seem right. It has nothing to do with us and I don't see it hurting us long-term to not get involved. Sorry I got off topic, if I had to advise them right now I'd urge them to vote against war and extend an olive branch to Britain. I think if we really tried we could derail a declaration of war."

Olivia winced when he mentioned the Vice President. Her dislike for the the second in line of the presidency wasn't personal, she just knew how Anthony felt for her. It disgusted her. Olivia knew she was younger and prettier than the Vice President. Surely Anthony could see that. She just needed to make him realize how much of a catch she was, right? Regardless, Anthony talked about her quite often even though it seemed at times the Vice President didn't even know the governor of Texas existed. Anthony and the president didn't really have a relationship, even though Anthony was probably the second most powerful man in the country. Powerful people usually attract other powerful people, but neither one ever put forth the effort to establish a relationship.

"I don't think Anna Kennedy can help you make this decision. What does she know anyway? Everyone knows that her focus is more on leading the Senate then being on the president's cabinet." At this point, Olivia and Anthony were practically cuddling on the blanket. He was just trying to comprehend the gravity of what was going on. Someone could have stabbed him with a molten rod of steel and he wouldn't have noticed. But nevertheless they were cuddled together, watching the sunset on a remote beach. "When it comes to an ear in the Executive Branch, she's all I have. I have sources in the Octagon, most of the other States, and a lot of companies. But I don't have ears on the president except for her. I think I do need her. I really do."

They didn't talk much after that. The sun was mostly set. Numerous oil rigs started to glimmer just on the horizon. Their bright lights beamed on as the sun's light dimmed down to a weak shimmer. The wind picked up and it grew colder. The beach was actually pretty nice in the winter, at least in Texas. The governor knew a decision needed to come soon. It would only be a matter of days before the president called congress into emergency session. The fate of hundreds of thousands or even potentially millions of Americans rested in his hands.

  6. I have outstanding GM requests, that regard damage to take, namely at Lyn.  Ty needs to rule on them, he told me he would the next day 6 days ago.  Its entirely on Ty not me.

I was hinted that Ty has been taking a bit of a.... delay in doing things. I'm sorry if it seemed like I was accusing you I'm pretty damn tired tonight and I just want this to get started. But yeah I understand where you're coming from.

Ty, I'm sure it is just rumors and you wouldn't do something like this - but the word from the grapevine is that you are delaying making any rulings because you just want to wait until the next GM elections to let someone else handle it or be reelected I don't know. If that's the case than just resign your post because you have failed your elected position.

Otherwise if you are actually just really busy IRL, please delegate this to another GM or something because we would really like to get the ball rolling here.

  7. This is getting ridiculous in length. I'm requesting an auto-advance on Triyun. I still think this war has been stupid, but he's been on IRC nearly every day since this conflict has begun, he's been talking to the people he has fighting, and thus he has had time to address all the OOC grievances he has.

I can't see any reason why this auto should not be granted, but if there is some I think we would all be obliged to hear it.

  8. To: Governor Ben Collins of Colorado

From: Deputy Secretary of State Samuel Ireland of The Plains Federation

    Governor Collins,

There is no outrage. I requested the Plains Federation's Attorney General to look into it, but I do not think there are any laws or provisions in the constitution that prevent a State or private corporation or a combination of both from hosting a space program or a series of launches. That being said, any and all space launches must be cleared first with the FAA to ensure that aircraft will not be a problem to the launch and so that we have time to alert the international community that it is a scientific space launch, and not an intercontinental ballistic missile. However I'm sure the Director of NASA would still be interested in seeing the company's facilities. Either way, it seems no harm is done.

    Regards,

    Samuel Ireland

Deputy Secretary of State of The Plains Federation

  9. Private Wire to The Colorado State Government

    To The Governor of Colorado

From The Deputy Secretary of State

    Governor,

I am not sure how the Colorado government afforded to build the a space shuttle or has the finances to keep it operating and have a functioning program, but you have somehow done it. I advise that you get the okay for any future space missions from the Plains Federation's Federated Space Agency, NASA, which is primarily in Houston and Galveston. If you have any other questions you can get in touch with the Director of NASA, Douglas Jericho.

    Regards,

    Samuel Ireland

Deputy Secretary of State of The Plains Federation

    Sleepy Hollow is Safe

Texas and Illinois National Guardsmen Secure Borders

    (Sleepy Hollow 1/7)

The Texas and Illinois National Guards moved into Sleepy Hollow with an estimated few thousand troops after Baron Dusk requested troops to be sent in to "inspect" the borders and make sure they were secure. Baron Dusk denied that there were any attempts of a coup in Sleepy Hollow and reaffirmed his belief that the Councils of Dark and Light will find a solution to the budget - however he did say that if they continue to keep the State's financial stability in the balance he will step in and establish a budget himself.

The troops have been supposedly ordered not to interact with Hollowins who have already begun preparing for their yearly celebration of Hallowe'en, the State's most celebrated holiday. Baron Dusk thanked the governors of Texas and Illinois for the "limited number of troops sent to this Sleepy Hollow" and that he is "very grateful for the generosity they are willing to show the people of this small, secluded State." According to Baron Dusk's office, the troops will remain for a few weeks around the border and then will return home once the Sleepy Hollow Militia can secure the new locations the National Guard has occupied.

  11.

For instance you said your carrier is based on the GHWB configuration which was finished in 2008.  Could you enlighten us all rather than just one.

Does GHWB stand for George H. W. Bush or am I just seeing the names of presidents everywhere?

  12. I have only today received the necessary information to acually respond. I'd think a person that has won all but one of their wars by kicking the opponent from the RP shouldn't talk about not wanting to fight IC.

Your current avatar is awesome. What anime is that from?

  13. "Olivia can you come in here? I have a question to ask." Governor Anthony Sparks had a concentrated look on his face. He stared into the computer screen before him deeply while he kept his legs neatly crossed below his desk. Olivia, the governor's new assistant, had been trying to get her head around how to handle her new job but she had already learned that the Governor of Texas was a... special character. "Come take a look at this porn, I'm confused as hell." Olivia blushed and wondered to herself how much she could sue the State for violating some redundant sexual-harassment law.

"Um... I'm not sure if that's in my job description sir," she said awkwardly. Admittedly, out of the hundreds of applicants Anthony narrowed down the final three by using beauty and brains as the two deciding factors. Olivia so happened to have both, even though she was only twenty-two and only had an associates degree. She was use to men trying to take advantage of her because of her looks but this was something new. "The city will stop picking up your trash if you don't come see this; just get over here." Anthony was perplexed, flabbergasted may even be a better word.

Olivia quickly felt the same way. "No one is having sex in this video..." she said. Anthony rubbed his hand on his freshly shaven face and nodded, "I know. It's British porn. This one's titled She Has a Leak. The guy walked in and there was this... attractive woman in some tight clothing. But then she pointed to the sink and blew him a kiss and he started working on the sink. And now... he's still working on the sink. He found something in the ring-trap about ten minutes ago, I think it was a marble. The woman said it belonged to her son."

Olivia set down her clipboard and took off her glasses, "What? How long has this video been going on?" He moved the mouse furiously for a few moments until the timer showed up at the bottom of the screen. "Twenty-seven minutes. The British have taken twenty-seven minutes of my life and none of it had to do with sex. Call Congressman Coin, I think I just found the most asinine reason to declare war. I have to tell him this." Olivia blinked and remembered she had to hand the governor something from the Texas National Guard headquarters. "Sorry sir, I forgot to give you this. Admiral Teach said it was of the utmost importance."

    Ten Minutes Later

"Coin you're never going to believe this - what? Who told you?.... I know I was literally sitting at my desk watching- well never mind but I thought I had come up with the most ridiculous reason to declare- yeah and then I read that! Like talk about defending honor. I have to say I'd consider doing the same thing but I mean come on- no yeah I gotta go.  I think we might be involved in this. Teach is raising all kind of hell. I'll keep you updated."

Anthony hung up the phone and looked over to Olivia. His face suddenly dropped from a boyish glee to a very somber, serious, thoughtful focus. "Jesus Christ, the Federal Fleet is doing some exercise up there aren't they?" He put his face in one of his hands and thought for a few moments. "One way or another someone is going to try to pull us into this... Christ. Olivia get me Maritime command. I don't want Galveston to be in the cross heirs of anyone." Olivia rushed over to her desk and got the Admiral of the Texas Maritime National Guard on the phone. "He's on line one sir."

Anthony picked up. "Governor Sparks, any word from the North Atlantic?" He was at a loss of words for a few moments but picked up his composure, "No Admiral I haven't, but I fear our boys in the north are going to get banged up. I don't want Galveston to be a strategic target of anyone. Deploy the entire fleet to the Gulf, just play it off as a defense drill. I'll make sure the ambassador to Tikal knows."

    "Aye aye sir."

The Port of Houston and Port Galveston came to life while thousands of seamen went aboard their ships earlier than expected. Any of the ships that weren't in port began heading towards a point nearly in the middle of the Gulf where they could better defend themselves and not make any cities strategic points of attack. Anthony's attention was now focused on the intelligence he was just handed by his Chief of Staff who fearfully stood next to Olivia. "We weren't told by the President this was going to happen sir. No one told us this... We're in the dark." Anthony kept his eyes closed and shook his head. He crinkled a piece of paper in his hand and let it fall to the floor. It was from the National Guard HQ, stating that the Plains Federation Navy had opened fire on the British fleet without being fired upon.

He picked up his office phone and called Congressman Coin, the Speaker of The House of Representatives, back. Coin was a Texas native and good friends with the governor. They talked often, especially while congress was in session. "It's Governor Sparks. Listen, I have a source that says we shot first at the Brits.... I don't know if the President ordered it but if he did I sure as hell hope you can do something about it..... Thank you Mister Speaker. I'll get Air Guard One to fly me to Oklahoma City if I have to. Whatever game someone is trying to play, it isn't right.... Yeah I'll talk to you later."

After about twenty minutes, Speaker Coin had already filled in the Texas Representatives and Senators about what had happened. Word started to spread among the other representatives as well. The Navy had attacked the British fleet without (at least seemingly) proper authorization from the President. And if the President had authorized such a move, then it was done without authorization from congress and done in such a way that it would almost be forcing them to declare war. To many, an explanation was needed. Because this was unacceptable.

Speaker of The House Coin made a call to the Vice President to ask what her take on the situation was. He wanted the details, because things were starting to get ugly in the House chamber quickly.

OOC: You can respond to this Mara. I figured it'd be better to do it here than in the Congressional thread.

  14. Lynneth and Mara and others I miss y'all..... I wish I could get on IRC but for some reason COLDFRONT doesn't want to run on my campus's wifi/server. I don't know what it is. If y'all want to talk to me just send me a message or we can get on a different IRC server. My work load is getting more manageable so I look forward to posting more with all of you soon.
