  1. 14:41 Tywin_Lannister you guys just dont want to lose power
14:41 PresidentDavid Says the one that murdered all of his people and tried to claim they were raptured... Yeah magic is bad.
14:41 Rudy[Zzz] That Lyser apparently if my logs are correct
14:41 tidybowlman put him back on is my suggestion.
    14:41 Rudy[Zzz] LOL
    14:41 Rudy[Zzz] Okay, you're done

Actually you were banned for that.

  2. Removal of a GM is silly. Even in the most extreme cases they can be pressured to resign plus there is a another GM to hold their place if they have to leave. But really, we have elections so often we can get rid of a bad GM with an election. You don't need every jerk and their mom holding a vote to kick out a GM who is trying to stand by his/her decisions.

  3. Admiral Edward Teach, commander and admiral of all Plains Federation military forces in the Pacific, would graciously accept Tikal's offer to have a military facility somewhere on the Hawaiian islands. He stressed that first he needed to contact officials back home in North America, but that the preferred location would be disclosed later. The Admiral also confirmed that the Plains Federation would be able to afford to build the facility themselves and ship the materials and labor needed for the job.

  4. The ultimatum was not agreed to, we raptured. If I roleplayed the sabotage of Pearl Harbor, why do you think my guys would leave classified data unsecured? I was an intelligence analyst and I know how these things work; there is a big deal placed on destroying unsecured material.

I don't think you understand.... Now that you no longer own Hawaii, he can change this history if whatever happened there to whatever he wants. And he can say whatever the wants to say happened there. Because he owns the land now, he has total RolePlay control over it in the past and present. He effectively can say that your government were genocidal maniacs, or they were what you RPed them, he can say pear Harbor is in fully functional condition, or he can say your rapture thing is a bunch of hog wash and he is totally within his rights.

You are no longer Hawaii, stop trying to control the RP there. It isn't yours.

Admiral Edward Teach, head of the Texas Maritime National Guard and one of the two highest ranking people in the Texas National Guard, stood quietly in the former Governor's Mansion on Oahu. It was staffed lightly but guarded heavily. There was another building nearby that was built to accommodate the "modern day" governors before the United States of America collapsed, but Teach felt it was more suiting to have his base of operations here. Like Texas, Hawaii was once an independent nation with its own economy, way of life, traditions and even unique system of government. He was standing where the last Queen of Hawaii, Queen Liliʻuokalani, had been arrested during the overthrow of the Hawaiian Kingdom. Washington Palace was single-handedly one of the most beautiful government buildings in the entire Pacific.

The Admiral was a tall, formidable man dressed in his snow-white Navy uniform which was complimented by his shiny gold jacket buttons. The tassels on his shoulders softly moved in the breeze that was coming from outside. The air was fresh and had the soft scent of salt. He had never seen or tasted the Pacific Ocean until now. It was much more welcoming than the cold, sturdy Atlantic Ocean which he was so use to. What he could not get over, however, was the relaxing tone that the breeze brought. In Galveston, Texas the wind would usually either blow hard or dwindle down to practically nothing but here... Here there could be minutes or even tens of minutes or sometimes hours where the breeze was just perfect. "The wind," he thought to himself. "Such a small detail yet it is nearly so perfect. This truly is paradise."

A sailor knocked on the Admiral's door and saluted him once he came in. "Sir, the 3rd and 4th Divisions have made it to Hawaii. They are currently landing right now. Orders?" Teach folded his hands behind his back and looked outside, "Aye lad. Make sure they dig themselves in like we talked about and set up the anti-ship and surface to air missiles like we spoke about earlier. Keep me updated." The soldier saluted and then left the Admiral alone once again. Alone in his own idea of paradise. There was so much to explore and enjoy here yet he was confined to one of the most historically important structures on the island.... "This isn't too bad of a punishment," he thought to himself.

Edward smelled the aroma of Jack Daniels and turned around to see his new friend Lana offering him a glass of his favorite whiskey. While the Plains Federation being in Hawaii and asserting sovereignty was a big undertaking, the sailors and soldiers still had some time to relax in between securing buildings of setting up defensive weapons. Edward had met Lana the other night on the beach. She was a Hula dancer originally from Hilo on the big island of Hawaii. "I'm surprised they let you in Lana, it's good to see you again." She smiled shyly, her English not close to perfect but she could fairly well understand others. "It is nice..... to see you too Edward. I got this for you," she handed him the drink and he thanked her. "What is going to happen now?" she said while she gazed out at the island with him. "We defend your islands Lana. Come hell or high waters, we defend your islands."

The 3rd Infantry Regiment and the 4th Infantry Regiment of the Texas National Guard would be deployed to Hawaii immediately. Instead of coming with mostly humanitarian aid, they this time came with anti-ship weapons, missile-defense systems, and spare ammunition. Tikal would be made alert of what was being brought to Hawaii in order to defend it from any foreign aggressors, however the official public statement would remain that it was humanitarian aid - which was partially true because there was some.

The Plains Federation ships would travel with the Tikal Navy when they could hitch a ride to Hawaii safely.

The 3rd Infantry Regiment would land on Oahu and the 4th Infantry Regiment would land on Kauai. The soldiers on Kauai would immediately begin taking strategic points of interest, setting up defensive weaponry, and digging themselves into various spots in the mountains.

  7. Confidential

The ten Texas corvettes would assist the Americans in maintaining an active blockade around the Hawaiian islands. They would remain outside of Pearl Harbor unless a foreign vessel or group of vessels would be approaching the islands in which the Texas ships would head towards that area of the American blockade to provide support and, if necessary, additional fire power.

The Guardsmen in Honolulu would unload thousands of gallons of fresh bottled water and begin distributing it to locals who were now economically cut off from the outside world. Fresh food, while more scarce, would also be distributed. An active supply line would be made from Tikal to continue to bring food and water from the Plains Federation. Power stations and water treatment plants on the islands which the Texas National Guard was present at would be occupied by soldiers and kept in running order to ensure the security of the islands. Ferry terminals would also be lightly staffed with soldiers to watch and see who was going between the islands.

  8. PART 1

After realizing the fate of Pearl Harbor, Task Force 141 would stay with special operators to conduct field tests and seek the plausibility of rendering the base operable. The First and Second Fleets (5 Carrier Strike Groups and 3 Expeditionary Strike Groups) would be ordered to form an immediate naval blockade around the Hawaiian islands. Naval warships from Tikal would be permitted to assist in the operation. Any foreign warship who comes within 200 miles of Hawaii must identify themselves and ask for permission to pass. Any that refuse to recognize this blockade will be issued one verbal warning on an open frequency. If the unidentified ships refuse to turn around, they will be dealt with enough naval firepower to no longer a threat to US and coalition forces. Hawaiian airspace would continued to be closed to unallied aircraft and patrolled by bombers, fighters, AWACS, and aerial refuelers. 100 F-35A fighters would be deployed to Honolulu Int. Airport to conduct future military operations.

The American Navy would be quickly notified that the Texas National Guardsmen flying under the Plains Federation flag were here to assist the Principality of Tikal, the Plains Federation's closest ally, in protecting the Hawaiian islands, handing out humanitarian aid to civilians, and preventing any conflict from foreign powers.

  9. Classified

The two regiments of the Texas National Guard would land on the main island of Hawaii, the island of Moloka'l, and the island of Wahiawa. Forces would secure government buildings and any military installations on the islands. Meanwhile forward operating bases would be set up, humanitarian aid would be distributed, and only forces friendly to Tikal would be allowed on the islands. Strategic points in the city of Honolulu would be armed, certain buildings temporarily commandeered,  and other services like water and electricity kept online.

  10. I am fine with letting 50k nations in with the caps provided that anyone we voted out before can come back.

Also, if someone is here just to troll (no matter what their NS is) I believe we should be able to remove them by community referendum. That is my only fear with letting 50k ns + coming in.

But I do agree now that everything is established and we are no longer in Alpha stage, we should let the others in to test the waters for Beta :V

  11. Ok so last night whilst under the influence i had an idea. So here is the proposal.

At the moment navies are unbalanced and airforces even more so.

So using the present naval system (IG Navies and Mogars point system), I think we should incorporate FHIC's naval proposal of modifiers for destroyers and frigates of *2.

This means that small nations who use the points as a method of maintaining a navy, so for example 4000 points allows for six destroyers, using FHIC's modifier, this gets increased to twelve destroyers.

For larger nations like myself, it allows us to maintain a larger navy and have realistic fleet compositions based on screen vessels to protect our carriers whilst not granting too much power as to create an unbeatable force.

Now then for stage two. Some nations don't need 750k troops. I'm going to be using the British Isles as an example.

Using a max cap of 750k troops, 630 aircraft and a small fleet based on the above naval proposal.

Britain only needs for example between 100k and 200k soldiers to defend the land territory, its main defence comes in the form of its airforce and navy, but its navy is limited in its operations because of its lack of air cover. So I propose that we be able to substitute soldiers for more aircraft squadrons.

Going off my example of a minimal 200k standing army, we have 550k soldiers that are useless. I propose that for every 50,000 soldiers we subtract from our standing army, you can gain five aircraft squadrons.

So from 630 aircraft, this can be increased using the above example to 762 aircraft with an additional 11 squadrons of aicraft. This means that britains main defence comes from its navy and airforce, rather than a bloated and useless army which cant target airforces or naval formations.

To use another example I will use my own nation as a base.

I have 750k active troops, 460 aircraft (stealth planes count as 2 slots) and three carrier fleets (with 1 carrier per fleet).

To defend the territory I have, I need 500,000 men. This leaves me with 250k soldiers that I dont need. This grants me an additional five aircraft squadrons (50 aircraft as my squadrons are ten aircraft, not 12), raising my total airforce to 510 aircraft.

    ________________

I do realise this may be hard to follow so here it is in plain and simple English. The naval modifier should be a mixture of the current system, and FHIC's modifiers but without the proposed cap.

To bring back the airforce balance, I propose that we be able to sustitute soldiers for extra airfcraft squadrons for military customization. Each 50,000 men you decide you don't want, you get five squadrons of aircraft to replace them with 10,000 soldiers acting as one squadron. You get the picture.

This means that a nation like the Phillipines or Britain can have a smaller standing army in favour of greater air power and air cover for their now larger fleets based on the naval modification I'm suggesting to run in tandem with this proposal to their island nation status.

I really like the idea of this. The only thing I am kind of iffy about is limiting nations to smaller navies.... I don't mind a country having a large navy. It just means bigger targets to shoot at. But this really seems like a nice plan. It helps smaller nations and makes it more realistic for bigger nations.

A single Olive Hazard Perry Class Frigate arrived outside of Honolulu with 2 Hungarian Sailors and a Belorussian KGB agent as well as Ukrainian Naval Forces Crew on board to monitor the area for threats.

    Confidential

The Texas National Guard and the Texas Maritime National Guard would have arrived days, if not 1-2 weeks earlier than the Ukrainian ship which would have had to either crossed around South America or through the Suez Canal and around Australia. In addition, the Texas ships left before the Ukrainians and they were thousands of miles closer to begin with. The Texas military currently there, however, was there on behalf of the Federal Government as Texas was not a sovereign nation.

The ten Zar Class Corvettes would remain patrolling the open ocean together in a formation off the coast of the Hawaiian islands until the Ukrainian ship was detected. Military Command in Honolulu, Hawaii was alerted to the ship. The corvettes would be called into a distant formation, meanwhile a small patrol craft flying the Plains Federation Flag would approach the Frigate and send a radio transmission and also out on the loudspeaker. The message would be sent from the mainland but the ship was transmitting it to the Frigate. "This is Admiral Edward Teach of the Plains Federation Navy. You are approaching waters under the protection of the Plains Federation and the administration of the Principality of Tikal. I order you to turn around immediately or your vessel will be sunk. You have sixty seconds to alter coarse." The message was sent in the Ukranian language that the vessels flags/markings indicated it was of origin from in addition to English. The blue water patrol ship would await a response.

OOC: Sorry Rudolph. I didn't see your post because I was writing my response while you posted. I wont make any further posts until the matter is resolved.

Plains Federation Goes to War With Nation of Hawaii to Defend Citizens

Soldiers sent across the Pacific to assist the Federation's closest ally Tikal in obtaining islands of the Pacific.

The Congress declared a State of War on the nation of Hawaii shortly before the unconfirmed collapse of the SOVSOC government which the world had been paying so much attention to the past weeks.

With Tikal spearheading the front to the islands, the government believes that the Plains Federation will only need to take a minimal role in protecting the islands. Meanwhile, actual territorial control of the islands, governance of the Hawaiian people and all other basic functions of administration would fall onto the government of Tikal. Federation soldiers are expected to hold a more secondary role in patrolling streets, setting up forward operating bases and distributing aid.

The Federal Government has only confirmed the deployment of the 1st Division of the Texas National Guard along with naval assets that have yet to be confirmed. The military will be travelling through Tikal waters and territory to and along side the Tikal armed forces to get to the islands in Hawaii and other Pacific holdings. Governor Sparks has stood by with the congress and stated he supports Tikal is deescalating the situation and returning peace to the Pacific.

"Too much war has happened already these past few months," Governor Anthony Sparks said on Saturday. "I look forward to seeing our soldiers and the military of Tikal protecting the people of the Pacific and ensure the international security that they do not fall into imperialist hands." The governor also said he believed the Texas National Guardsmen would serve bravely in the Pacific and that the risk to their lives was minimal. "This is more of a police action," said the governor. "We believe that if there is any conflict, it should be minimal. The Federation is here to support our ally."

A state-wide day of prayer was declared by Cardinal Lewis of the Galveston-Houston Archdiocese.
