Anybody who has endured a raid and carried on regardless is well-placed to say "suck it up". If they're the sort of player to leave the game after a simple tech raid, what makes you think they'd have stayed beyond their first major war? People have to accept that sooner or later they'll find themselves at war, and that they won't always be on the winning team. If they leave after their first tech raid then it saves any future alliance a whole lot of trouble - better to leave during a raid than to jump ship and let down dozens of their comrades later on during a major war.

I've been raided and I have raided. I learned a lot from both experiences. If you're raided you suck it up, deal with the consequences and rebuild. The damage has been done, no point crying about it. And, if you're clever, you learn from it. Is raiding morally objectionable? Irrelevant. Do I approve of it? Yes.

We're small, we're imperfect, and we're still finding our feet. To be honest we don't have much to offer ye at present. What we need be people who have something to offer us. The sort of player who will be active within the fleet. The kind of person who takes an interest, gets involved and remain loyal. We have plenty of jobs up for grabs - positions that need filling.
