It's kinda like being attacked by a swarm of zerglings.
Thanks for putting together those stats. Especially appreciate the NS Tiers breakdown. The upper tiers is where it really counts anyway. The lower tiers, where most of us find ourselves, is just a mosh pit of nations cheering on our champions as they do battle.

I actually love the work you put into that DoW very Halsuhkiesque. Great job.
So... I actually had no idea what a Halushkie was so I had to look it up.
It looks pretty good TBH so I'll take that as a compliment :)
I mean, not to point out the obvious but no false charges have been trumped up. Stevie G freely admitted to roguing TE police, and TPC freely admitted to letting in someone known to be doing so, and then war slot filled, although they did state that those things shouldn't matter.
If you guys want to jump into a fracas, by all means. But no reason to make up reasons.
As it stands, TE PD is currently at war with:
Bad Co (and their rogue)
TPC
Misfits (and their rogue)
Defcom 1
DL
The Warriors
I would provide stats, but we all know they don't matter here.
Haha well, it wouldn't have been a very exciting declaration if I included ALL of their stats, right? Besides, I didn't feel like tallying all of them up. You're welcome to do so if you'd like. I'm actually quite curious now.

At the end of Round 29, CN:TE had become a place of total anarchy. Alliances would do massive down declares (and actually win) and micro alliances would be ravaged by larger alliances. Grudge wars would run rampant and people would flame each other to char in the OWF. The game's already shrinking player base was being destroyed from within. A group of people declared that this could not stand! Someone had to do something! We should have some sort of TE police! And so, from the ranks of CN:TE, a few great leaders stood up and created just that, the TE Police. However, as time went on, the TE Police began to grow in power. Their membership grew and hushed whispers began to emerge about corruption within the TE Police itself. The TE Police began to bully around other alliances under the guise of justice. False charges were drummed up against innocent nations and the TE Police suddenly became the epitome of that which they were formed to fight! It has become clear that the words of John Emerich Edward Dalberg Acton, first Baron Acton as written in his letter to Bishop Mandell Creighton in 1887 ring true: "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men." CN:TE does not need a central police force but instead needs each and every one of its members to take a stand against corruption! We need to take a stand against brutality! We need to take a stand against false accusations! And we need to take a stand against the TE Police. The Warriors joins forces with those who would stand up to these power hungry tyrants and declares war against the TE Police.May God have mercy on your souls.Signed,trs4eceActing Leader of The WarriorsDeputy Minister of DefenseThe Warriors Stats# Nations: 17Strength: 167,844Avg Strength: 9,873Infra: 28,160Tech: 4,314Nukes: 81TE Police Stats# Nations: 41Strength: 566,548Avg Strength: 13,818Infra: 99,043Tech: 11,543Nukes: 184

Alright already guys. This war has been over for a while now and grammar or witty remarks had nothing to do with its outcome. Any continued arguing is just feeding the trolls.
John, please update your profile information with your TE nation information as required by the CN:TE OWF posting restrictions. I am also curious about who you are.

Silly rabbit trix are for kids.
Gratz on what is one of the biggest war wins TE has seen in a long time.
As to Warriors you guys are basically admitting to picking WD because the stats were in your favor, bad is bad but you guys are terrible.Dear Paul711,
I realize that you have a bone to pick with The Warriors because you cannot get over some stupid stuff that happened back in the day, but you're running with a new crew now. How about you put a cork in it and find someone else to troll. If you'd rather not, then I can just paraphrase what you say back to you over and over again without the justification that accompanies it until I'm blue in the face.
Bad is bad,
You are too,
Put a cork in it,
Before we school you.
Love and kisses,

As the first set of rounds expired at update, there no longer exists a state of war between The Warriors and War Doves. While The Warriors could tally up victories on several fronts, the overall victors were the War Doves for this war.
Now to address this down-declare/up-declare issue. Numbers are not everything. As has been proven here and has been proven in many wars between other alliances, the true victor will be the one who is best able to cooperate to take down their opponents. Even an enemy whose nation is 150% NS can be taken down by consecutive, coordinated attacks by a group of smaller nations. This is especially true if you throw nukes into the mix. Only when an alliance is able to function with near 100% coordination should they attempt to up-declare. To do otherwise is suicidal. Our ability to coordinate effectively was called into question after the battle with NDO and so we chose an opponent whose overall numeric strength was at or slightly below our own.
The decision to attack War Doves after our defeat against NDO was designed to test our members ability to coordinate effectively. I put together the target list based on the availability of our members to encourage coordinated attacks. In the end, that backfired because we did not have enough of a blitz presence to anarchy more than a handful of War Doves. It did not help that most of the War Doves were armed to the teeth when we attacked. In retrospect, I should have waved off the attack but technical difficulties made that impossible.
So yes, looking strictly at the numbers, this war should have favored The Warriors. However, considering The Warriors performance against NDO and WD's war history, I expected that our nations would be pushed to the limit; coordinate or die. Unfortunately, several nations chose the latter or were instantly anarchied leaving their wing-men to fight alone. With that said, those who did fight together, performed admirably.
We will be looking over the data from this war and making some adjustments. Thanks for putting up a solid fight.

You can cut the !@#$%^&* about this being a good matchup. You skipped over OP and Citadel to hit us. The numbers aren't supposed to match up because this is personal, and you and I both know it. I'm not butthurt about it. Let's just do this thing. :ehm:
With your new leadership, I was mostly interested to test out the new WD. There's no need to take things personally. While I'm sure that there are some on both sides who would love nothing more than to see each other bleed, I for one am just looking forward to a good fight. Hopefully our Warriors can put up a better show this round and I'm sure that WD will make them earn it.

Sorry that we kept you all waiting! Having only had one other war this round, I for one was itching to get back in the game but we had to get a colorful target analysis drawn up first. And while the avg NS may be off due to 13 WDs that are under 7K NS, I think your upper tier will provide for some good heavyweight action for our guys and your lightweights should be able to jump up and fill some offensive slots with our lower tiers to keep them on their toes too. All-in-all, I think this should be an interesting match.
Looking forward to sparring with you all!

It finally happened! Skynet has become self-aware... and is playing Cyber Nations?

TBRaiders is the only one who you may say is going after the "flag runners". The rest are pursuing other goals it seems.
Here are the alliance wars: http://tournament.cybernations.net/alliance_wars.asp?ID=3
Since most AAs are already in war, the Warriors have decided to declare war on flag runners. Nations who cannot reach flag runners will be declaring on anybody in range.

That was on a very short notice indeed. No wonder if some members wouldn't notice that and declare new wars.
One member did it already. He is aware of the peace agreement now : http://tournament.cybernations.net/alliance_wars.asp?ID=21
For Christ sake, trs4ece - can't you talk without threats "will be subject to retaliation ". We are cool and civilized people here. Everything must be solved in a peaceful and calm way.
Thank you very much.
Well, considering that it was such a late notice I just wanted to make it clear that there would be no free hits and that goes both ways. If any of our guys made a late hit after update, I would expect them to get smacked in the face too. Just the nature of the game. Sorry about the late notice. First time gov etc. etc. Anyway, it looks like there is only a handful of nations that missed the peace alert.
-
At midnight 3/19 - 3/20, there will be peace between Citadel and the Warriors. Any attacks made after update from either side should be reported to government on both sides and will be subject to retaliation unless previous arrangements have been made.
Cheers,
trs4ece

While it is true that we did see this coming, I am surprised that you would do this when we are mere days from our last battle. No matter. We shall give you your war. Come taste our blades still wet from the blood of OP, WD and NPLTrain.
Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone.

I suppose there are very good reasons why only 500 nations play this game
So many alliances seem to try their hardest to drive those few away
They have probably succeeded in the past, hence the low numbers
They will probably succeed in the future, and thus lower numbers coming
Why play a game so bitter and hateful, theres enough of that in real life
No one even seems to try at all to make it fun at all
Unless bitter hateful people find hateful bitterness fun
Those are the ones I pity the most, there seem to be many of themThis game is about war. War is never pretty, clean, or fair. War is about beating the tar out of your enemy and hoping that your nations are better able to execute than your enemy's nations. As for the reason that CN:TE has low numbers, it's because the game is inaccessible to newbies unless they quickly get an experienced player to take them as an apprentice. Anybody who can't emotionally handle the heat of battle should probably stick to CN:SE. For everyone else: get out there, blow up some pixels, and have fun!

I don't really like the huge amounts of starting cash. Rerolling shouldn't really be a viable strategy except if your nation is a smoldering ruin and even then it should sting when you reroll. As things were, nations could be in better shape after rerolling than many of the nations who kept fighting to the bitter end.

As a fellow Boilermaker, this one hits pretty close to home. Sorry to see you go Tito. God be with you and those whose lives you touched. o7

Well, I guess in that context, the text underneath the 0 of 5 warning makes sense. I just expected to see a button to allow me to accept the trade. Seems that was once an option? Anyway, glad to hear that it's not exactly a bug.
-
Although I am only using four trades out of five, I am unable to accept either of the other two trade offers that are pending. I tried opening the site in both Aurora (Firefox pre-beta), Opera and IE with the same results in all three.

Thanks for the replies. Although I am currently in Aqua, my trade setup is not ideal and I would be willing to switch spheres.
As far as being an established nation, I think my nation recently turned 3 years old and I'm near 10K infra...
I may check out Umbrella to see what they have to offer. I'll pass on GOONS as per your suggestion. I've actually never heard of PPO or NPL but I may check them out as well. -
Are there any alliances out there that have solid tech farming and trade circle programs? By solid, I mean tech circles that complete on time or within at least 11 days and trade circles that are assembled within a month. I'm kinda tired of having to wait a year to get a trade circle created just to have people drop and paying into tech farms that go 20 days without completing. I hope that we're not all in the same boat with these problems.

In real life, people assassinate their enemies too. There is a line between games and the real world. Spying, hacking forums, DDOS attacks, these are elements that should stay out of the game.
