I also threw that quote right back at him earlier. Basically, all I see is drama, petty complaints and delusions of grandeur about transgressions against him by crying wolf and playing the victim card. I'd say, leave the thread alone, let the snowflake take his punishment. As it is, the more he argues, the more he's an enemy of Bob. I'd say this would be coming from all sides. That's all the more reason to consider him a rogue. The more he argues, the more it's to a point he's proving our justifications.

I can imagine non-intrusive spying is legitimate if they were monitoring you because of something you did. In that case, they could have punished you accordingly. That is legitimate. You're trying to justify your transgressions by blaming another party, that you dont see that your roguery stems from that behavior. You're upset about what an alliance did, I get it. But that is one thing, against calling for attacks which is another. Instead of griping about it, you could have requested a right to trial, if you have such right. Then maybe you can e-lawyer your way out of it. But as such, instead of doing that, you've created a post to simply rant, and you may have been guilty of it despite your arguments. So far, it's not looking good for you, so there is no point in fighting. Just take the punches and roll with it.

I'm pretty sure he said "threatened", not "attacked". Such a threat may warrant roguery by calling upon such attacks which may not be legitimate. For your characterization, "Any excuse will serve a tyrant". You're invoking tyranny because of your hurt feelings to justify war.

If this be true, then there is irony at hand. He may single-handedly promote war just out of sheer stupidity [OOC](oh gosh, he sounds like Trump right about now!)[/OOC]. But I fear that the only thing really holding anyone back is that they are bored of war and just want to get on with nation-building. There are advantages to war, yes. But in excess and one-sided, it doesn't promote competition among the masses and this style is dated. It doesn't promote real growth. If you're on the winning side, it just merely boosts it. Not that I care. But that's your prerogative. Funny story. What actually happened was that the leader who posted this had a rant about being tired of hand holding, even though he was usually always voted president. I did suggest he could have rescinded, let other people have a try at it. Instead, he threatened to basically leave, ended up posting a vote, where more than 50% did vote to disband (and left anyway? ) even though the charter does require public alliance votes to be a majority 2/3rds, which it never reached before he shut the whole site down. We were always lax when it came to internal affairs (for as long as I've been in this alliance), and I never felt we were faltering. I guess someone got a little too salty and OCD about micromanagement. I hadn't paid attention much to the affairs to Planet Bob, let alone raids to begin with. But I got the heads up from a failed spy report, and they decided to attack me anyway, on an active nation. I've taken a licking, a little rusty. But not my first rodeo. I've never seen the logic in having daily nukes launched, and sky attacks to change my DEFCON form 1, to 5, to 4, then 1 again, just for a tech raid. They were lower NS to begin with, so I have no idea if they even know what they're doing to begin with. Color me confused. But as it so happens, apparently treaties are still in effect. Surprising. That's all the commentary I could muster.
