In seeing such a debate between a former gov member and current members I noticed one thing -- They (Speaking in third person as I was not there personally) still burned their infra for their friends (I assume, Nemesis and IAA?) down to fractions of what they had.... So forgive me if I do not understand your comment. From what I have studied and such, they would have burned on either side? I cannot offer an answer to your other points, as I don't want to try and make stuff up (Im sure you folks could smell BS from a mile away) and cast myself in a rather ignorant light. I only state what I have observed in trying to figure out the politics of this rather convoluted world we are situated in. What about the recent apologies to RAD? What sparked those then? And why do they claim to be serious when, as you say, individual apologies are worthless?

I was not saying you were not able to stand alone -- only that you were philosophically outnumbered by people against your point of view. Most people who try to be against you actually have no clue -- which is why they say this was a bad idea. And generally others follow them because they are influential. No one ever reads the original post....ever That makes what you are trying to do that much harder. They only read what you reply. Personally, I find myself in agreement with your side -- Alliance Government should not be allowed to "bully" anyone. My only problem would come if you extended that to telling you to build warchests, sign into roll calls etc. which it seems you aren't saying.

A general rule of the OWF that I have seen is that you want to pick your fights and only strike (read: post) when you are SURE you can win. That would be a generally better idea for the future. MHA gov will decry anything you say in much more force and numbers than you can, this means you should quietly get more people on your side. That's not even taking into account the others who will help defend MHA's actions. Hint: look for some of MHA's enemies and ask them for support EDIT: The answer is yes, sadly

From what I've read on forums, this seems like an excellent move for my comrades. I don't know Browncoats at all and I only know some of LoSS but Im sure this is a good thing. May these two alliances forever prosper under the banner of friendship.

So people make others see them as relevant? Is relevance directly proportional to reputation? As in, an alliance that is known (for Good or Bad) is considered more relevant than another?

Ahh the wait, I believe the phrase is More on News at Eleven Or something to that effect. We will hear of it eventually if it is relevant....Unless of course the OP is simply making a veiled threat with no substantiation
