I'm glad to see this was discovered on 3/11. My favorite 311 song is Come Original, followed closely by Beautiful Disaster...then maybe Down and All Mixed Up. I didn't like their cover of The Cure's "Lovesong." The first two songs are in my Amazon Music playlist called Songs I Like, which is a playlist of around 430 songs and it's what I listen to when I'm just driving around or mowing grass or whatever. Speaking of Post Grunge, my 73-year-old father and I were talking about music. He mentioned he really liked Nickelback, then transitioned into getting tickets to a .38 Special concert. He was really looking forward to the show, but was disappointed because, "everyone around us stood up and was yelling and singing, and I just wanted to watch the show." He said he'll never go to another concert like that. I suggested that he should write sternly-worded letters to the venue and .38 Special, and then just stick to post grunge. He also said he liked "that song that goes, 'I'm still just a rat in a cage.'" I might buy him that double album set for his birthday. -
Or nations lurking in peace mode, but that's fine if you want to totally not read what you're being told. That's fine. You're paying for it, not me.

Few years.....well, OK. I've been back for a year, but sure, let's talk a bunch more about my time in CN instead of how you're paying the price for your upper tiers because they're totally busy. Like no one else is busy.

Those are all very convenient excuses for your top nations to stay in PM......it's totally not worth coming out of peace mode to crush the opposition because it's.......too easy. Can I get in on this bet?

While you're wondering about people being upset, maybe you should start asking your own folks to lend a hand.

Or it could be that you're allowing CCC's top tiers to stay out of the war because they've been super, super busy for like, weeks. I mean, WEEKS. At some point, these excuses shouldn't be believed and someone could....I don't know, apply pressure and say, "Ay, maybe you ought to start getting your hands dirty."

Who this "you all" you're referring to? I don't hold a leadership position and set no policy. How long are you prepared to let CCC's upper tier feel better about their pixels while everyone else pays the price?

I'm not sure what narrative you're paying attention to, but I wrote what I wrote. I mean, if you want to call that everyone else's narrative, that's fine -- it's wrong, but it's fine. But you've had to pay quite a bit for your upper tiers, too, so it doesn't surprise me you'd run to their defense. If everyone else has to pay so they can feel better, that's cool.

I'm not really all that angry, I don't think -- it's kinda more how you just declared war so others can stay comfortable. If that's a thing you're into, that's fine, I suppose. Help them work on their work/life balance or something.

Whining about what, dude? Pointing out your alliance just declared war so CCC's top tiers can stay comfortable isn't really whining. If you guys wanna be suckers to maintain friendships, that's gonna have to be on you. You're the one paying for it. That's not whining. That's reality. Have fun paying for someone else's pixels.

Well, about a year old, really, since I let my nation go inactive for like 6 years, but that's fine if you want to keep talking about all that. Anything else you needed to know? I mean, I've fought every time I've been asked. And then there's CCC, complaining about work/life balance or something. I mean, they don't seem to have had a problem logging in over the past few weeks, so they can't be too busy. But then, I haven't ducked out to PM, either, and I'm not going to do it as long as there are lower tiers fighting.

A working plate tectonics mechanism should be in place on Planet Bob, especially if Bob has earthquakes (I don't remember seeing volcanism). Otherwise, Bob will expand and contract accordingly. As plates subduct into the aesthenosphere, nations would lose land. This could happen over periods of millions of years, so no one would ever really notice the difference.

I'll refer you back to the directives from him in our private dispatches -- then you can tell me how much "government" he really is. He's literally a figurehead who does absolutely nothing and has no active role. But hey, maybe if someone could have gotten a hold of us in our channel to raise the wtf flag, someone official would have said, "Yep, that's SW, go ahead and attack him as much as you want." Could have sworn I'd written something like this already, but not reading things is par for the course here.

This is outright nonsense. You decided to give Kashmir the benefit of the doubt *after* you decided not to give them the benefit of the doubt and made this declaration. And then, UH OH!, you expected Kashmir to do absolutely nothing after you made this declaration. I'm not entirely sure why you expected that, but it's what you did. Then you pretended you really wanted diplomacy all along. These were your decisions. We're just reacting to them in ways you don't like.

So sure, let me work out who backtracked: You "recognized hostilities" first without considering anything whatsoever except your own shortsighted policy built on nonsense you would never dare to try with anyone else. We recognized your declaration as well. You don't have to like it, but that's what it is. Your declaration here was the initial aggression, then you backpedaled pretty quick. We expected the same thing from you that virtually every other alliance expects -- a heads up, a little diplomacy, something. You didn't even bother with that. Not sure why, but you definitely don't seem to like it anymore. So yeah, we recognized your declaration and we're holding you to it. You don't have to like that, either.

Well, that was a convenient update, wasn't it? You went on at length telling the world in general over multiple dispatches: greenpeace's stance on government members' actions speak for the entire alliance. Now you're backtracking on that stance. Is it greenpeace policy to *not* recognize government members' actions speaking for the entire alliance now? Regardless, .gov already recognized your recognition. They get to decide when that changes, not you.

Kashmir didn't attack. You know good and well Kashmir didn't attack. SW did. Now, you can sit there all day insisting SW's actions define an entire alliance's actions, but that doesn't make it true. In fact, here are SW's last 10 messages in our private channel posted *just for you*. I can probably go back a few months like this. And even when it's blatantly obvious there's one dude doing his thing and it's not exactly the alliance doing his thing, you ran here to *recognize hostilities* against the entire alliance when you know that's not the case at all. And that's fine; you can sit around ignoring facts all you want -- that's your prerogative, but don't sit around feigning you're all about diplomacy and reason when it's exceeding clear from this post you aren't interested in it.
