1.
It ends when everyone agrees to white peace. I'd say people aren't willing to surrender because everyone is really bored and there's not much new to accomplish.
Why must you destroy that which you love? Consider how much tech you're losing to nukes right now versus how much tech you would pay us in reps. The longer you draw out this war the greater the reps will become. Your alliance is in absolutely no position to demand white peace. At least we'll know who to blame once TOP is nothing but a memory.
2. Are you actually implying that TOP entered this war knowing full well that they would be outgunned? That's a pretty ridiculous accusation in itself.
3.
On a serious note, does anyone know what LM's war-chest is ? Being that he is the largest nation in the game or was...I'd be interested to know how much he has saved up over the years. But for the ones I saw here... 6bill, 7.8bill, you guys are insane! Go buy some dam Infra or Land or Tech, do something! lol.
It's not hard to save up a war chest if you're too scared to go to war.
4. TPF hasn't been relevant since the Karma War, they're pretty much the new GGA.
5. I really doubt that. The war may have been a little closer, but it got pretty one sided shortly after the war broke out. This was due to several of the Hegemony alliances not taking the threat of war seriously and thus being ill equipped to fight it, like GGA. Two relatively large alliances certainly would not have changed the ultimate outcome of the war, but may have been able to make it a bit more interesting. I was really disappointed on how little resistance the other side put up.
6. Well they did have the audacity to demand lighter reparations for Hegemony alliances involved in wars that TOP was not a part of. This being back when TOP wasn't even at the top spot. I'd really hate to see what their next move is. Thanks to their blatant disregard for treaties and immeasurable value of infrastructure they have made it to #1.
7. Two wrongs don't make a right. At least the Coward Coalition attempted to save face by going back to honor their treaties that they were obligated to. As far as I can tell the only treaties TOP needs to be signing are ODPs.
8. I'm sure the former Hegemony alliances would have a thing or two to say about that.
9. You didn't honestly think I meant fared well politically did you? Oh wow that's pretty hilarious. I'm fairly certain most people wouldn't be so hasty to make such an outlandish assumption.
10. They fare well in terms of minimal damage being done to them. They certainly haven't gotten to where they are today by honoring treaties.
11. I really doubt that TOP would fight for anybody if put in a No CB War situation. TOP portrays themselves as being opportunists at best.
12. How is it contradictory in the slightest? The basic concept is that TOP signs treaty A and treaty B. In the event of a war they're certain that it will be impossible to honor both of them during the conflict so they either choose to honor one or the other. If you're can't understand that you really don't need to be posting here. On another point you brought up. Treaties pretty much void any rights you have when it comes to deciding whether or not to involve yourself in a war. When you're signing a treaty you're saying "I trust you enough to support you no matter what". If TOP wants to decide how they should conduct themselves in a war they need to become an independent alliance. None of this selective treaty honoring cowardly nonsense.
13. That remains to be seen. I seriously hope TOP has turned over a new leaf. Who knows maybe people will actually be able to count on TOP being there for them when they're needed the most.
14. The problem here being that TOP has shown a consistent behavior of being allied to alliances that will predictably become enemies in the future. This seems to allow TOP to choose which side of the war they want to fight for which is why they have managed to fare so well while "participating" in global wars. This isn't consistent with the death before dishonor attitude that many people are fond of. For some reason TOP thinks they're fooling all of CN by doing this, but as this thread shows they're really not which has made them upset. TOP needs to stop signing so many conflicting treaties and stick with one set of allies. There really is no point in signing a treaty if you don't plan on honoring it.
