Firstly I'm sorry for being so late to this thread but I had important business to attend and have been out of contact with Bob for 24 hours. I'd like to set quite a few issues straight here.
STA and TPF had a great many people think they'd be on the our side or stay out, before this war started. They had allies and friends on both sides and I know damn well would not have had one word of criticism levied towards them if the chose to stay out. That said, they made a choice. I will stress that word CHOICE. When TPF and later STA entered I still refrained from criticism despite feeling pretty disappointed.
When I issued Polaris' declaration of war on NSO I knew we would get countered. A great many alliances had pledged their help and support and I am not about to crap on those people by protecting ANYONE who CHOOSES to be on the other side. I did know that IRON might be coming in on STA, because STA hasn't had a war in years and have large nations with large warchests and they really know how to use them.
Did I try hard to stop that? No I didn't try at all to stop it. I have watched Pez in particular troll the crap out of IRON for days in a display that matched any I have seen from NSO and as far as I'm concerned if someone wants to behave like that they can reap the rewards.
On to this feeling of being let down by us...
Guess what, when you cancelled our treaty we didn't want that. What we wanted didn't matter a shit to you though because it was what you wanted. Tyga, Imperator Emeritus of Polaris, before today hadn't even visited our boards for over six months. Meanwhile from that day you cancelled our treaty I have checked our embassy on your boards every working day without fail. Spare me the fake indignation that I wouldn't piss on the people expending their nations to help us and protect someone on the other side who wanted nothing to do with us beyond social talk.
Finally I will stress this again so you don't miss it. You are in this war and on that side by CHOICE. Tomorrow you will be in it by CHOICE as well and so on until you CHOOSE that you'd like to no longer be in it. It wouldn't matter if fifty alliances oA'd in because it would still be YOUR CHOICE as to if you are involved.
Stop blaming Polaris, or anybody else for your choices and own them. You know damned well if you did what I had wanted you would have been treatied to us and not on that side in the first place!

Sorry but we really dont have anything against TPF(though im a little bummed by their choice this war, as they probably are about ours), I still remember mhawk as a friend from back in the day of when the black sock never failed.... 'but' we will ponder using some(the more the merrier in this case!) chains to oA in on STA just to wring the last few tears out of ya' all since its been awhile since ive seen tigers whine so profusely. :gun:
We really should have at one another one of these days just cause it would be a lot of fun and I dare say very satisfying for both parties. Also the quote system on these boards suck.

Huh, didn't realise STA was such a threat, in a way I'm kind of flattered. I always felt these types of oA chains were reserved for a really hated alliance by the opposition so I am a little taken aback at the attention we are receiving considering we are here to defend TPF and have no connection to NG or NSO. Even now we are not part of any coalition channels. Anyhow, have fun boys and girls.

He did more damage heads up cause he nuked me while I didn't so others with more tech could. He had a tough round losing over 80K NS being in five wars and all, I'm not knocking him as there really wasn't much he could do.Not for long you don't ;)
I also find it funny that mad pirates is greatly out numbered and was your only war for a few days and he's still doing 2k more damage on you. -
War does make strange bedfellows, especially when you consider that the last time this was incredibly close to happening, Crymson was the one to prevent it, which would have been even more awkward.

I too had mad respect for STA and loved Tygaland especially. However after hitting their allies bloc mate and shit talking their foes despite NADC only saying nice things about them the whole time I lost every single bit of respect I had for them. Still I see Aftermath giving them respect and courteously but they have none for any of AM. It sickens me to know admittedly how wrong I was about STA.
Our members are shit talking our opponents? If you have evidence of STA members being rude or condescending then please forward it to myself so I can look into it. As for this thread, I see Coloradia and yourself in a bit of a pissing contest over damages (unless I missed something?) which I would hardly call disrespectful to NADC.

you are mistaken my friend, NPO and STA were joined at the hip for many, many years. :PI wouldn't expect anything less from STA, since although we were on opposing "sides" for many years; I respect and like you for your consistency. TPF is surely an alliance worthy of such friendship. Have fun.

STA made it pretty clear to TPF when we signed our treaty we would probably never defend NPO just as TPF made it very clear they would probably never defend Polar when we were allied to NpO.
