    DECREE

BE IT KNOWN, that as of a.d. XII Kal. Maius, ano MMIX, the alliance Umbrella has fundamentally altered her doctrine regarding foreign alliances.

The great rule of conduct for us, in regard to foreign nations, is in extending our commercial relations, to have with them as little political connection as possible. The collective alliances have a set of primary interests, which to us have none, or a very remote relation. Hence she must be engaged in frequent controversies the causes of which are essentially foreign to our concerns. Hence, therefore, it must be unwise in us to implicate ourselves, by artificial ties, in the ordinary vicissitudes of her politics, or the ordinary combinations and collisions of her friendships or enmities.
    QUOTH the prophet MaoKhan

And the prodigal son, Sceptor, spoke with agreement:

"Every nation has its war party. It is not the party of democracy. It is the party of autocracy. It seeks to dominate absolutely. It is commercial, imperialistic, ruthless. It tolerates no opposition. It is just as arrogant, just as despotic, in Paradoxia, or in Umbrella, as in Pacifica. The Umbrellian Jingo is twin to the Johan Junker.... If there is no sufficient reason for war, the war party will make war on one pretext, then invent another."

The great engineer Domisi then looked to the Umbrella and ruminated, reminding us of its many interdependent parts. Its simple perfection and indelible strength. It is clear that the Umbrella can only be weakened by reducing its reach, an impossibility, or by increasing one's expectations, a dangerous path.

We have been reminded by elder Bossk, "Deep doubts, deep wisdom; small doubts, little wisdom." And so, as it stands, Umbrella has no choice, but to amend the Opsmobile accords under agreement with the esteemed Mushroom Kingdom to include the following clause:

If one party finds itself as an instigator in a conflict, the other party may join in if they feel the cause is valid, and the conduct just. Otherwise they may refuse services.

  2. I havent seen it all laid out yet but my money is on Blackstone is actually going to be revealed as being a Counter-Intellegence operation tied to certain people in this game. That would sure make all the pieces fall in place wouldnt it? Just a guess though :P

No, no. Clearly Blackstone is a spy ring operated by evil-doers like Umbrella and Gremlins. Oh wait, that was the manufactured CB from last month. My bad, I have a bad memory sometimes.

  3. How else would they get that info?

Someone, somewhere had to spy to get that info to the other side unless they just straight up made it up (which reading tattler seems to imply is not the case).

No, you see, when there is an alliance member that passes on private information from within their forums to an outside party because it might be important to that outside party, and that party happily accepts that information it isn't spying. Sometimes. I think... Wait. I'm just gonna go back to rolling my dice with only threes for a while.

  4. We're not making a public matter of this because we are making efforts to resolve this amongst interested parties, which you are not. If you wish to partake in e-lawyering, I would ask you present your degree in e-law.

Oh my, your friend asked me the same question at the same time!

Well, you see, I am no e-lawyer, but I am quite the dramatist. I now present to you a scene.

Our players are in a land they call #duckroll, where they are polishing their roller skates. They're engaged in a roaring bull session in which they are discussing current events on Bob

bigwoody: That ochocinco fellow just drives me up the wall! He thinks he's so darn clever.

finsterbaby: Call him of being an e-lawyer, that's like the biggest dis ever.

    bigwoody: LOL ok, posting now.

    Moo-cows: lol guys

chefjoe: I'm sure you glad you're here, Moo. It's just not a government level channel without the NPO around.

finsterbaby: OK I POSTED IT, boy is that ochocinco's face going to be red!

bigwoody: Wait, you posted it? I posted it. Now we look dumb. D:

chefjoe: you sure do, friends, you sure do.

Bilrow: I voted for the NPO I hate them!

    mogar: first

*mogar has been kicked from #duckroll

A hook comes from stage right, grabs mogar, and reels him off stage. The other ducklings go back to polishing their roller skates happily.

  5. I am sorry it didn't work out between us. We have always acted with honor and stood behind our members and their security. I believe that when the facts do come out, we will be vindicated from these charges, and I deeply regret seeing you take this path.

Best of luck to our former friends :)

You know, you could simply present the evidence to the accused. There probably would be no misunderstanding that way. Typically when one gives a fair trial to an accused party, the accuser must actually present the charges and evidence against the accused. Unless, of course, you hate (the nation of) America.
