So if I chain SLCB's car and they declare war, Hydra will not get involved?

    Good to know, and congratulations.
Not necessarily. If chaining, not obligated to help. But we still could. In your example, Hydra would probably help out because sometimes they borrow the car to go to the grocery store.

  2. You threw yourself to the wolves with this one. If you're going to be on IRC and be an active member of the community, get on IRC and join #cybernations on irc.coldfront.net, ask people what their alliance is about, and how their foreign affairs is conducted (do you want a neutral/peace-loving alliance, or one that is looking for a war?).

If you don't plan on being active in the community, and just sit in an alliance, then honestly any alliance with more than fifteen members (to keep the tech raiders away) will be good for you.

    *you're

    also: there's that smell again.

    finally:

this treaty has made me smile for 2 days in a row now!

There's pork again, worrying about semantics. I was just going to go with 'cool story', but someone else already did that.
Everything makes you smile for two days. It is creepy.

No name for this treaty? What will I tell my editor?
The title is clearly, "Announcement from Hydra and SLCB". Tell your editor (s)he's a cool guy. Those peeps enjoy that kind of thing.

In other news, there is a cancellation countdown because clearly the intel clause must be enforced for those seventy-two hours! Those would obviously be the most important hours for intel of our demise if such a treaty were to begin to be canceled.

Dude I cannot tell you how much !@#$% I get with this thing. Sometimes when I'm about to go out and hit the town I'll casually wear it was a cape. As soon as I step out the door I'm fighting !@#$%*es off me. Not only that, but I'd say when worn as a cape my power increased at least ten fold. I found myself able to do stuff which my body usually wouldn't have been able to do. Car parked in my way? Hang on, I'll just push that out the way.

But the main thing is the sheer sex appeal it gives off towards the owner. Like I'll bring some frigid girl back to mine, and she'll see this hanging above my bed, and *BAM* from frigid to slut in a nano-second. It's actually pretty ridiculous. Like I get requests to borrow it from friends who aren't getting any all the time, but I won't loan it out. The power and raw sex appeal it provides has a grip on me. I doubt I could go back to my old pre-NPO-flag-owning-self.

I didn't even think of its possible use as a cape. That's good stuff, there. Thanks for explaining this to me. However, would you say that it may have addictive properties? What if someone stole it? After all, you won't lend it out to friends even if you're not using it at the time.

  5. I got saved by this once. In order to anarchy, you must lead a GA attack against him at < 5% odds. So your first attack weakened him, and the second, say he had 6% chance, was just another attack. You need someone to lead one more GA to anarchy him.
Unless this is a bug, in which case it has been around since before Karma. This is all to my understanding of how things work.

They were already closely connected through iFOK, so really why the need for the treaty? all this has done is made another piece of paper to add to the countless others and made no effect in any way on planet bob.
Technically, all SLCB treaties are non-chaining unless stated otherwise. Of course, with how close SLCB and iFOK are, we'd go to war with them anyway for just about any reason, but that is just digging too deeply.
If that isn't good enough, then we did it for the lulz/attention. That is all.

I agree with the above posts concerning our treaty naming dptm. Admittedly, we don't have any creative minds, so we kind of just typed. Then when I realized we had just typed a bunch of gibberish, we just C+P'd a random section of text. It seems to have worked out well enough to get the treaty posted.

  7. When you buy the first nuke, you pay 5000 a day to maintain it. The next nuke, as your data indicate, would cost 550K. If you buy that nuke, then the upkeep becomes 5500/unit (11,000 total). Don't forget to take into account certain resources that may lower the purchase and upkeep cost.
