    After careful consideration, Non Grata hereby cancels the There and Back Again Treaty with Valhalla.  As of today, the 72 hour grace period has expired, rendering the pact null and void. We wish Valhalla the best of luck in the future.  The reasons for the cancellation have been communicated to Valhalla in private.

    Some CIS, such as myself, are in NG. Not a lot, but we exist, since there was a chuck of us that went into SLCB. Although many of those who did have since disappeared for one reason or another.

    I daresay being apart from you in the ranks is kind of awkward. I think it might be close to time to sandwich those who separate us so we can be next to each other again.

    English isn't your first language, is it? That's okay. We like other cultures, too! (Thus the large number of foreign members in our alliance.) For future reference, "like FOK" tends to reference an example. FOK would be one example of a friend of ours.

    Why couldn't you raid NG before now? You're in my upper range, so if you like, I'll leave the door open for you tonight. I need the casualty boost, so let me know beforehand so I can buy soldiers for the killing.

    Sorry to get off topic, but about this ghost busting you are doing for MHA. I have heard some disturbing news that your requirements for MHA ghosting are, well, not well-refined, and as such, some actual members of MHA might be feeling the consequences of being a "Ghost". What do you have to say to these rumors?

    Sometime in August. I feel like a noob for still being here.

    Keep in mind, it isn't the time you've wasted, but the time that you could save by just quitting now.

    Somehow that line still hasn't eaten at me enough to make me leave. But it does chew at my ear every so often.

    The main issue with this is greed. During war, sure, I'll aid everyone in the alliance for free until the game tells me I can't any more. But off war, I want tech. Indeed, smaller nations are set in a side ring like monkeys with knives, and the real war is fought at > 20K NS minimum, and if you want to do well, you need as much tech as possible. So offwar time, I'm bulking on tech, and don't have the aid slot capacity to both mass aid, and acquire as much tech as possible. Then trust becomes an issue where I just aided some guy and he flaked. I don't care about the money. I care about the fact that I could have aided someone else and gotten 50 or 100 tech back, even if that nation later flakes out.

    Worse, is the spiral involved. Because a lot of small nations quit out of irrelevance, there are fewer smaller nations. Honestly, I don't want the small nations to get large too fast. If that happened, I would have no one to tech deal with. Once again, that is selfish, but when the few small nations have a high chance of disappearing, why would I want to use my aid slots for that purpose?
