If WE try to escalate this? Why would we try and escalate this, we're the ones on the forums asking for a peaceful resolution to this! They are the ones who didn't look into the situation before they went in at my nation guns blazing. Any response from us will be purely defensive, as any alliance that knows us would expect. Please, if you are going to post, make some sense. P.S. The days of MI being a threat are over. Stop trying to act like you still run TE.

We want to deal with this before it turns into a major problem. There's a bit of a backstory, so bear with me. William L Dio of The USSR attacked a member of the Roman Empire. At the time, William L Dio was a member of GDA. GDA authorized us to strike him, and my second in command declared on him. After a back and forth conversation between the both of them, in which my second refused to accept peace because the guy had attacked one of our nations. William L Dio said he had "powerful friends" and threatened my second (Tiberius12) if he didn't accept peace. He still refused. William L Dio left GDA and went to The Unrighteous Fist, and the next day three TUF nations attacked Tiberius12. Roman Empire nations are being put on alert, but we don't want this to escalate. We don't know if TUF have any goverment officials who regularly use the forums, but we don't know how else to get in contact with them. Roman Empire has a MDoAP with United White, but we will not get involved because it does not seem that we are needed. We hope for a peaceful resolution to the conflict, and urge the leaders of the respective sides to go on IRC and talk this over. A peaceful resolution is in everyones best interests.

Any agreements for agressive action must be made seperately between the respective governing officials. Article III: Cancellation Should either alliance feel the need to withdraw from this agreement, they will notify the other party 48 hours in advance. If we were MI, then we would not even bother to offer you peace. We want peace, and are willing to work for it. Roman Empire hasn't even entered the war, we're just watching an allies back. If staying faithful to friends and allies is tyranny, then we are tyrants.

GDA, and ourselves, do not want this war to get any bigger, so the hope was that this post would prevent any more DoW's. Also, if you want peace, then just please sit down and talk with each other.

This war just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Both sides have valid arguments, and it would be almost impossible to go back and sort through them to find who is "right". Anyways, it's gotten beyond that now. Alliances are going to war to help their allies, as we have seen with GDA's entry into the conflict. With the entry of GDA, it's starting to get out of control. It can only get worse. The Roman Empire has an official obligation to the GDA, through treaty, to protect them. Let me make clear, any alliances that declare war on them after this post, we will go to war with. They are our friends, and we owe them. GDA asked us to post this, to prevent needless escalation, but I also want to ask both sides to please reconcile. White peace for both sides is the best option at this point. I hope both sides can come to an understanding and get peace. This war seems pointless and needlessly destructive. I'm glad to see MHA doing the honorable thing and reaching out to Porkshrimp. Edit: And I'm glad Pork Shrimp is reaching out too.

The Roman Empire offers its full support to Mostly Harmful. They stood by us when we needed help, and we will offer them our support now. Although the leaders of MHA and our government have decided that the Roman Empire will not get directly involved in the war, if we are needed, MHA will have our help. Also, I would just like to add that the accusations about MHA being "arrogant" etc make me laugh. They are as far from the truth as can be. Please, can we help? Lol. Pork Shrimp deserves it.
