  1. If being nuked is your desire, just declare war and/or try to spy one of my nukes.
  2. Well, if you *want* to get nuked, you know where to find my nation.... Granted, it would not end well for you, but....
  3. Note to self: Advise all IS nations to use gather intelligence spy operations prior to raiding. And if they don't have at least 70% odds, pass that target up. Wow. Why wouldn't it? (Sorry, but I'm a firm believer in "know thy enemy", or at least, "know how to best make their day unpleasant". lolwut? Newsflash, both the Moldolvi and Revenge doctrines were repealed -- I imagine that asserting their 'validity' is just asking to get rolled.
  4. I know, but I have a theme going here.
  5. I've decided to send peace to Kobiashiy -- but he has to accept it before 11 PM (server time), otherwise, I will nuke him.
  6. I thought I just lurked 99% of the time.... About a bunch of other posts in here; Sileath offered 500 tech *to* nuke Kobiashiy, but then wonders how he's relevant to this discussion.... (I'm guessing that wasn't a serious offer, then.) IS gets compared to NPO over one member deciding to keep her infra intact by using a simple statement.... (At least I *assume* that was why the IS=NPO statement appeared.) (Probably need to revise my DoW reason next time I decide to attack someone.... (Which given how frequently I do that, won't be for at least another month.)) Kobiashiy can't make up his mind if he wants to be nuked or not. (Bipolar, perhaps?) The Sith want to kill him themselves (could be interesting to watch). And lastly, the two quotes that I like the most. (Although I have no idea which of HeinousOne's posts King DrunkWino was agreeing with, or who the 'some of you' were.) Mind if I put that in my sig? (That's to HeinousOne and King DrunkWino).
  7. As you said -- if I dueled you, I'd loose. This would have a lot to do with you having 500 more infra than I do, and twice the tech. But, if I nuked you.... Well, the last person I nuked lost 1600 infra, 1400 land (300 of which I took by GAs), and 430 tech.
  8. There's (IMO) a difference between someone deciding to raid someone, and realizing that they aren't particularly liked, and offering to nuke that person for tech -- and NPO. Among the reasons mentioned on IRC include him applying to another alliance, and then *TWO* days later, creating his 'new' alliance. I am interested in what NSO has to say on the subject -- seeing as Kobiashiy did copy/heavily emulate their theme.
  9. I get the feeling that someone's misinterpreted me -- (OOC: I'm not trying to run anyone out of the game (/OOC). Nor am I particularly prone to making threats. (Yes "retaliate=nuke" can be a threat, its also a statement, in other words retaliation equates a/several nuke(s).) Besides, I was more curious if someone would bribe me to, or not to nuke him. I don't really care about the politics involved with him. (Beyond his lack of a *treaty* with his supposed 'protector'.)
  10. No treaty, though. Hence, fair game. (A list of other reasons were gone over on IRC.) (P.S., thanks for correcting the typo.)
  11. Oops, I guess my instincts to type hit. (if the mod sees this would they mind changing the "Kobiyashiy" to "Kobiashiy" in the title?)
  12. Added a "what alliance is Kobiyashiy in now" poll question. (Someone mentioned the lack of it in IRC.)
  13. I found myself a raid, and being on the mercenary side, after finding that he's not particularly liked, I am now taking offers, both *to* and *not to* nuke Kobiashiy. Offers should be in the format of tech, at starting at 50 tech. Notes: In the event I do nuke him, it won't be until tomorrow, because of the nuke delay. Total nukes used limited to seven Tech is payable at a rate of no less than 300/month (actual rate of payoff to be determined after all offers are on the table). Also, this isn't a 'highest bidder', this is a 'highest/more appealing offer' (combined.) Example, if four people offer me a combined total of 200 tech to nuke him, they have to pay it off within two aid cycles. (Two slots each), payoff can be through third parties.
  14. tl;dr 3BR FF, Beer, Construction+Fish&Uranium circles: 1 needs: Aluminum, Marble, Lumber, Wheat, Sugar, and Fish 2 Needs: Marble and Pigs 3BR Fast Food, Beer, Construction + Uranium & Silver 1 Needs: Aluminum, Lumber, Water, Sugar, Cattle, and Marble And -bump-
  15. Often times, the victim 'knows' the attacker -- this is true for many RL crimes, and for online ones. One idea is to draw up a list of who might want to do that -- and you'll likely have the 'who could'. And I'd start with those closest to 'home' -- in other words, anyone with Admin rights, masking rights, moderation rights, the general users, and finally, those outside the alliance. Also, I'd recommend running a full malware sweep on your system(s), and then changing all your passwords, making sure that you don't reuse any -- anywhere. Also, OOC point: Its not hacking if you set your admin password to something silly such as "qwerty" or "asdfg". Nor is it hacking if you use the same password on 59 sites, including your forums.
  16. Which? Askar deleting? Kingzing being king? Or Zig trying to coup TCB?
  17. What's this? I don't recall that from when I was in TCB. It could be that I wasn't informed/never noticed, though. -- OTOH, its more likely that my original statement has more factual value. And IMO Askar could have picked a better time to go through the ultimate ZI.
  18. Looks like I haven't bumped this in a while. (I hope this doesn't count as gravedigging....)
  19. I thought this announcement was going to be about a new *Black* sphere alliance....
  20. *Now* they seem to work -- but when I posted (and after I was able to sell extra soldiers), buying and selling border walls made no difference.
  21. Yes, however, that doesn't address the border walls *not* taking care of it. Since I have 66% and 67% (without and with). (on the efficiency scale there) (I can't sell soldiers ATM, because I recently decommed a number.) To be a rules lawyer here, it only says that border walls can't effect the GRL -- so they should be able to counteract the pollution from my nukes, and from my army. Edit: The number of soldiers I had was having an effect, but.... That doesn't explain why I couldn't counter that, or the environment damage caused by having nukes with the border walls -- (yes, I know it wouldn't work like that in reality, but... Well, (Relevant part in bold for emphasis.) That means that border walls can't counter GRL. But that says nothing about *anything* else. Also, no other environment improving purchasable or importable item says that it doesn't work on the GRL....
  22. When I decommission my border wall, my army is 48% of my population, with the border wall, its 49%.
  23. My events are just econ (counterfeiters and housing market collapse, both of which I picked the -$3 income option for. (One has +1 happiness, though.)) If I take the GRL out of the equation, I have an environment of 3, taking out the 'extra' 1 that nothing can be done about its 2. Which is 2 environment that border walls appear to have no effect on.
  24. http://www.cybernations.net/nation_drill_d...ation_ID=279161 In searching for the answer to this, I stumbled upon a similar thread -- and it says that the 'best' environment I can get is GRL+1.... I know as a nuclear armed nation that it takes a toll on my environment, but it seems that border walls are useless to clean up the environmental damage from having nukes.... Seeing as my environment is 8.00 exactly, and adding or subtracting a border wall does nothing.... And will not go below that, both with and without my border walls. So do they really have a point other than as a +2 happiness, -2% population improvement?
  25. Ooh, interesting. Who's Sileath again?
