    Why should there by bad feelings when we've got an alliance pool running on how long it'll take before they come back?

    Grand Admiral, no, Grand Vizier Albion sat in silence as he rode from the command ship to his own Star Destroyer. The Imperial-class Star Destroyer [i]Shilla Reborn[/i] has been his vessel of command for some time. He had taken it with him during his leave from Imperial service and roamed the Unknown Regions to seek rest. However, his Empire had called and he had answered. Now, as he sat aboard his shuttle, he could only hope that the future would be a bright and brilliant one.

    "All glory to the Empire," he mumbled under his breath.

    He did wonder, however, if this Emperor would also not realize that he was capable of using the force and was, in fact, a full fledged Jedi.

    OOC: This is a semi-open RP. I request that only people who where on good terms with my former nation (Empire of Shilla) and my old character (Emperor Kee Hyuk Kim) to show up to this though I won't throw anyone out for joining in. This, more or less, is just a little reunion of old RP buddies (I suppose).

    IC:

    == Dalian, Rebel Army ==

    She had a very regal air about her. No one was quite sure how to put it or who she really was but she seemed to be a very familiar figure. She was more beautiful than any of them had seen and had the most peculiar hair color. It was very light, almost white, but had a bit of a blue tint. No one had seen anyone like her before and they were all mesmerized. Of course, she didn't spend much time on the streets of Dalian. In fact, most of the people who saw her only saw her as she walked from the door of her vehicle to the door of her hotel. As she entered, the marvelous lobby of Dalian's finest hotel was sparkling and, aside from those working there, was empty. As she entered, the two rows of maids arranged along a magnificent red carpet running from the door to the reception desk bowed deeply.

    She walked carefully but with unparalleled form and balance, almost as if she were gliding over the carpet rather than walking. Behind her came several men wearing black suits who all but had "SECURITY" written all over them and some attendants. Near the end of the carpet, the manager of the hotel bowed deeply in respect.

    "Sungyeong, it has been quite a while since we last met."

    "Indeed it has, your majesty."

    "That title means nothing, you know that."

    "It still does in this city, your majesty."

    She sighed.

    "Well if you must. Has my room been prepared?"

    "Of course. We have only but the finest of our suites prepared for Her Majesty, [url="http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showtopic=58621"]Princess Kim Hye Jin[/url]."

    "Very well, take me to them."

    "At once."

    The hotel suite was indeed large and well furbished, however none of that really phased Hye Jin. This suite was the same that she and her father had stayed in during all of their time in Dalian after the assimilation of the Empire of Shilla into the Rebel Army. Tears formed slightly in her eyes but she brushed them away and then turned to her aides.

    "Please send out the invitations as soon as they are finished."

    And so they did.

    Greetings. Most of you remember me as the little child who hid behind her father during his diplomatic visits as the Emperor of Shilla. Some of you have met me since the end of the Empire. However, all of you met and knew my father well. And thus, I write to you to inform you of his passing from this world. My father, who survived numerous assassination attempts on his life, has succumbed at last to the one bullet we all cannot dodge: fate. Thus, it is my sad duty to invite you all to the funeral and cremation of my late father, the former Emperor Kim Kee Hyuk that will take place on the 12th of July, 2010. The location of this event is enclosed.

    It is my great pleasure to announce to you the new ruling government of the Imperial Assault Alliance under the continued leadership of [b]Emperor Chimaera[/b]. The new additions to the Imperial Ruling Council include [b]Grand Admiral MercyFallout[/b] (hey, that's me!), [b]Grand Moff Stagger Lee[/b], and [b]Imperial Exchequer Dochartaigh[/b]. They will be joining [b]Grand Vizier Voodoo_Nova[/b] and [b]Imperial Regent Kevlar[/b] to form the [b]Tenth Imperial Ruling Council[/b].

    With the introduction of new Ruling Council members comes new deputies. I am pleased to announce the new [b]Director of Foreign Affairs Darth Andrew[/b] and new [b]Exchequer Deputy swfan[/b]. They will join returning [b]Academy Headmaster Kahn[/b], [b]ISB Director lightwave[/b], and [b]Fleet Admiral republicloyaltist[/b] to round out the rest of the Imperial government.

    OOC: Don't forget that this was his second nation. He said LAST time he wasn;t coming back... ;)

    OOC: Technically, this is nation number nine. If you take out resource rerolls, this is nation number 5. But unlike before, I have something known as college that gives me an alternative to my free time than before. I've tried to wash myself clean of CN (love ya'll but I've been here too long) before and I'm going to do it for reals.

    Hansong, Empire of Korea: After the renewal of the Imperial Senate and the first Empire wide vote since the last failed coup d'etat against the Emperor, the Empire has voted on a radical change in policy. By popular vote (94% in favor), the Empire has backed Imperial Resolution #103050709 in which the Emperor has formally petitioned to the government of the Rebel Army on the entrance of the Empire and all of its territories into the Rebel Army.

    So it is decreed. 09.10.06

    OOC: No, I don't know what is going on IC but I am able to see movement of naval ships of my neighbors. Those are kinda hard to miss.

    From the Office of the Ministry of Tourism

    For some time, the nation of Korea has been undergoing massive infrastructure overhaul and the construction of super sky-scrapers. The Ministry of Tourism is most pleased to announce that all of the projects announced some time ago have been completed and all buildings have been cleared through rigorous safety inspections and are now open for use. In addition, the KTX High Speed Rail Network is expanding to cover all urban centers on the mainland and an undersea tunnel to Cheju-do Island is under construction. Within the next few years, KTX is slated to completely overtake the rail networks in the Empire and all "slower" forms of rail transportation will be either scrapped or used for the transportation of cargo only.

    "We would like to send military consultants to Korea. If Korea feels there is someone threatening them, we would like to know who. With our guarantee of independence of South Korea, such aggression would also likewise not be tolerated by the Dragon Empire. Will Korea grant the required Visas and share intelligence with us?"

    The Foreign Office has issued the required visas to the persons of interest from the Dragon Empire. We assure that there is no such threat but this is simply a routine declaration of sovereignty in a world where nations rise and fall pretty easily.

    Preemptive nuclear attacks will go well for you, there's no way they wouldn't.

    Our standard procedures for the defense of the Empire are for us to decide and not foreigners.

    OOC: Yes, i admit it, i was one of those eyeing your nation since Korea interests me. Still, doing a search on all of your posts shows this as your last one:

    Which would be you UNlocking your nation some 24 days ago, hence the commotion. Either way, welcome back. :P

    IC: "Zargathia finds it good to hear the Korean Empire is doing well. Communications have been so sporadic we were getting worried. Perhaps we could interest you in a treaty?"

    OOC: Maybe I'm off a week. *shrugs*

    IC: The Empire is not interested in additional treaties at this time.

    Seoul, Empire of Korea: The Empire's ever vigilant information services have reported continuous buildups of new military forces from new nations in the Far East Asian region. The Empire does not discourage the technological innovation of our neighbors (especially since we have recently also spend great amounts for the furthering of technology and scientific development) but wishes to remind the world that ANY provocative moves against the Empire will be met by the full brunt of the Korean Armed Forces and that nuclear preemptive strikes are standard policy in the defense of the Empire.
