BG is right, if you look at the members of WOLF, you will notice that their treaty trails goes back several rounds and have stuck together for a while whether formally or informally. Anyway, how goes it BG? Hope all is well.

Hey Gabryal... My post isn't about blaming or bragging about WOLF. My post is simply to state my observations. There is no right/wrong answers in this game. Cybernations is a very dynamic game on many interesting and fascinating levels. Much of the game is really played in the forums. It's like chess, a battle of mind and wits. Like I've said before, I've lead large alliances and blocs and arguments both sides are making are valid. I have been lucky enough to view it from both sides and from leadership standpoint as well. People just need to deal with the dynamics of the game and find a way to make it work from themselves. Most importantly, they should be having fun doing so because if Cybernations TE/SE is causing them more stress than fun, they shouldn't be playing this game in the first place. LoL... Actually, I find all this politics in this round amusing, especially since I'm not leading have having to deal with the issues. It amazes me how many people give their hand away in their posts without evening knowing it. This is all comic relief. I'll take you up on a virtual meal

Though I am not playing politics this round, I have lead for several rounds and seen and have lead super blocs in the past. My view point is strictly my own and from my leadership experience in TE. 1) Positive View: Super Blocs can serve the best interest of the alliances that form them. It is advantage to its members as it forms a bond with other alliances which will help you protect your best interest. A large alliance in such a bloc will reap the benefits of protection all around and will secure its position as a top alliance. Smaller members are protected, to a degree, from other alliances attacking them. If there's a "common foe" this is a great rally call to arms. 2) Negative View: There are always two sides to the coin. The negative side of a super bloc is that is can alter the perception of game. When one bloc is to dominant, it can lead to resentment towards the bloc, its members, and its leadership. Worse, it can become a deterrent to new players or old vets because they keep getting curb stomped. Yes it is a war game but and if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen, but many vet players in SE don't play TE because they already have bloc politics to deal with and most don't want to think in TE. My Views: When MHA was leading a few super blocs a few rounds ago, MOST everyone cried foul because it thwarted their goals. Ironically, many of those people who complained then are in the WOLF super bloc now. When Harmful ended the practice of forming blocs and alliances, everyone went about their own ways. I left the game for about 2 rounds because of personal reasons (busy in real life) and come back to change. Evolution is an on going process and the politics change so Super Bloc seems to be the "in" thing right now. Being very frank, I hate whiners and hypocrites and there are a few of those on both sides. Most people only agree or disagree with something in the OWF when it suits their needs. I myself am guilt of that as well. When I was leading my goal was to establish Harmful as an established alliance and have dedication on similar levels as alliances in SE. Conclusion: There is no right or wrong answers. People can't seem to avoid making things personal and RE seems to have TE by the balls right now. All those alliances not in the WOLF bloc don't want to form because many probably fear they can't get the everyone on the same page hence they will get crushed. Too many on both sides love their pixels too much. I always believe you reap what you sow. So when the winds of change come along and you find yourself in an opposite scenario that the one you are in today, don't whine or brag about your situation. Deal with it and make the situation right for yourself, your alliance, and/or your Bloc.

You guys may or may not be surprised about how much spying (forum spying) really goes on... I caught a few over the course of my TE life but in rare cases have I ever confronted them because it's more fun to give them nothing and frustrate them or feed them false information which will end up with them outing themselves. I never had Harmful do any spying because it goes against my personal philosophy but with many alliances doing it maybe Harmful should start?!? lol Thaisport

I am 33 and have my degree already, I don't need to homework! And yes I know what Pax Romana is before wiki. This was for all those that didn't know. However Pax Romana, Pax Americana is trivial information. Knowing such information will not pay my bills or support my family unless I am a history major teaching History or working in such fields where it is relevant. That said, Wiki is also not the BE ALL END ALL answers for all those in school and want to use it for their homework. It is known to have errors and plenty of mistakes. A PERSON who wants to LEARN SOMETHING can use wiki as a starting point to bridge them to some other readings. And btw, tell me you don't use the computer and internet for research and learning outside of gaming... Thaisport

* I'm finally catching up with all of this stuff. Since I am starting to become more active plenty of people sending me logs, screen shots, links, tanks shooting cows, and just about everything I can think of outside of the all mighty kitchen sink. I've also read in between the line when I talk to people on IRC. * RE will always look like the bad guy for one simple fact, because they are the largest alliance and they are twice the size of the second largest alliance. Anyone joining in on RE's side will like GATO will look just as bad because people think it is they are being ganged up. * Why do most people think their actions are right when they are winning, yet when they are losing it is always unfair? * When I was leading Harmful, I can honestly tell you that is the one of the most difficult thing to lead an alliance that size because you are in a "catch 22" and you're damned if you do something and damned if you don't. I don't envy Tiberius12's current position because I've been there for several rounds (After all Harmful isn't great for nothing you know ). * In hind sight, everyone can be a critic because win or lose you always thing you should have done something different. * Truth is, this is just a war game. Like I've said in the past, war is never fair because everything is fair game. One can only hope the people are mature enough to avoid treating one's opponent with disrespect. Unfortunately there are people who have been disrespected already in in-game PMs. I hope leadership in the respective alliances will accept responsibilities for their members. * Finally, everyone should take their two pointer fingers, put them together, draw an arc in the air and tell themselves to "Build a bridge and get over it!" cuz if "You can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen!" o/ Harmful Leadership (Wolf, Opflex, Max) o/ ME just cause I can o/ Harmful o/ RE, GATO, NOIR, TPF o/ Crap this was too long Always Proud and Forever Harmful, Thaisport

Observations from Thaisport: It's been a a good 1.5 almost 2 rounds since I've been active (not saying I am right now either) but I come back to find friends are now foes. People talking smack behind the back. I amazes me how the dynamics have changed in such a short span. Maybe everyone wants a tee shirt and a flag. Alliances seeking the number #1 spot and smaller alliances that can't reach that goal building blocks for large alliances so they can have a piece of the pie. Quickly does greed and corruption set in when one has power... Here's one thing I would like people to know, Mostly Harmful Alliance is not and will not go anywhere. This alliance was reformed upon principles and the smaller but group you see today are mostly core members who have been with Harmful for many rounds. Win or lose a war, win or lose a battle, it is about members with a common cause building a community together. It's about the people you interact with and friends you make along the way. This is why Harmful did not fade in the past and this is why its core member will ensure Harmful will continue to exist. Times may change, people may change, but rest assured that as long as I and the core members of Harmful are around, that this alliance will remain. o/ Harmful Thaisport PS: Outside of this, It is nice to see old CN friends again friends and foe alike in the game. Time permitting, I will see you all on the battlefield once more...
