Indeed we have had a good standing relationship, but if this has been such a pressing issue, or you have felt that the GPA has let you down, why has there been no post from your diplomats in our embassy with us since July (which was congratulatory) addressing these issues? If GPA has failed IRON in the past, IRON has clearly failed to notify their friends in the GPA regarding it, and I do not believe IRON would do that.
Aside from what Emperor Fu has apologised for and explained, which is most certainly a one-off, how have we been rude to you at all, ever? And what climate of the GPA? I do not know what you mean by this, but please, if it concerns you so much, please talk to our excellent diplomacy team, it is what they are there for! I too look forward to being good friends with IRON again <3
We shouldn't have had to go any further then we did the first time, I assure you if you were in our situation and brought it up with one of your military officers or even a diplomat to an alliance no one knows about we would have jumped on the problem. It wouldn't have taken more then a day to take care of it, and we wouldn't whine about it either. We don't need to "investigate" something thats right in our face either. I'm sure you don't think an apology would fix it all up, I understand that, but Apologies don't do much in this sort of situation. "Oh I'm sorry for not doing anything about that guy who sent money to this guy that your fighting, give me a couple weeks I gotta go investigate it." Now of course I'm exaggerating in that statement, but maybe that illustrates my frustration with this whole issue.

interesting....because the war screen doesn't show GPA aiding anyone in any alliance IRON is at war with...but maybe I missed something *shrug*

Please keep the facts straight at least James.The nation receiving the aid did not have any active wars, though his alliance was at war.The fact that the receiving nation was not currently involved in a war, but his alliance was, resulted in an investigation.Had the receiving nation had an active war, the sending nation would have been auto kicked immediately.
Emporor Fu has taken responsibility for not addressing this issue quicker, which is understandable what with everything else going on.

Mm, I can't really say whether I agree with this decision or not, because I don't know the actions by GPA that were deemed insufficient by IRON, but I have the feeling that a neutral reaction to this will only provoke the inevitable. Diplomatic actions will not likely be enough to turn the tide indefinitely. GPA's the main character on the world's stage. It's time to give the audience what they want
A GPA nation sent aid to a nation warring against IRON nations. It's a violation of their DoN, we gave them several days to take care of it but the only response given was "We're investigating."

If you read the sanction requirements you would see they followed the guidelines. GOONS were taken off due to lack of activity.

For whatever reason (I don't really care) GOONS does not have a sanction. Mod said it, not like you can argue with them. Move on.

Clearly this is XXXXX.
Inactivity has always been a factory in Alliance Sanctioning. I believe the minimium is %70 activity

It's common sense that at the time you do a sanction you should project out growth? Wow, thats some strange common sense thats....never...been...used...before.

Hello everyone, you may not know me but I am a former member of the \m/ alliance. I realise that this will instantly lead a number of the more ignorant amongst you to hate me. There is nothing I can do or say to stop that, but please bear with me - and I'd really appreciate it if you kept this thread flame free.
I would also like to point out that this thread is not about my nation - I am fighting to the death here (despite temporarily recovering in peace mode - well done to Legion, they certainly got me close to bill lock). No, this thread is in regards to a nation and former alliance-mate who is at war with CON.
You see, he is not out to see his nation reduced to a pile of rubble. He seeks peace. Now, most of my alliance had been dealing with NpO and Legion. I understand completely that these two groups hate us (in general) and that changing that would be very difficult. However, they were both very fair in their individual surrender terms for nations. As a result, I was completely shocked with the terms offered to my friend by CON.
CON demanded (and are still demanding) 200 tech as a surrender fee. I understand they are free to give whatever terms they want - they are on the winning side after all. But it's a little bit hypocritical if you ask me... There was outrage amongst the Justice Boys when we were accused of extortion (a practice which is VERY rare in \m/ and, although allowed under the charter, is heavily discouraged) and yet one of your own is comitting extortion on an alliance wide level. I know this post will change absolutely nothing, but I love how you can tar us as bullies, extortionists, thieves - the list is endless, and yet support such fowl surrender terms. We offered CON the same surrender terms we were offered by Legion. It's pure madness.
Say what you want about \m/ - I know that most of it is complete rubbish or backed only by wildly exaggerated anecdotal evidence - but at least apply this to everyone. As I say, it makes no difference to me - but it's things like this as well as other misapprehensions which the majority of this game seems to have about certain alliances which wind me up.

She took advantage of a masking error. Wars have been started for less. We are at war now anyway so I guess whether it was spying depends on which side you are on. Nice to know the IRON has moral relativity in full power.
Based on what Slayer said its obvious she didn't change the offline message. That doesn't change anything else in the thread.

Im not directing to you in anyway that you are absolutely dishonourable, im stating that due to the actions of your members in this thread and the different things they wish to bring into this topic, isnt exactly helping your stance in your being honorable, I posted in this thread for a sole purpose is because your member was basically flaming us, I gave my opinion thats not an honourable stance, and I get like 2 more IRON's on this thread trying to tell me im telling them their dishonourable. Im dont tell anyone their dishonourable unless I know they are, im just saying IRON needs to watch what they say on this thread especially because this isnt your thread.
There are consequences of war, and not being liked by the person you declare on is one of them. Do not expect to be our friends after you have declared war.

Have you taken a look at the Sides latley? It seems The Justice League has alot more NS then the UNJUST path. Regardless of the amount of NS GOON and TOOL and whatever else is on IRON, our enemy has lost about 8 to 1 in NS

Ok so you try and cover up your members disrespect by talking about how your big and bad with holding your own back? We honour our treaties and our helping our allies, now thats the honourable thing to do, by telling us thats something that was a lack of judgement in our area, that just shows how honourable you are.
You may be upholding your treaties as we are, but you are having no affect by declaring on our nations, more or less target practice.
Regardless of you upholding your treaties that does not justify the attack on our allies GGA.

The use of insulting words are not needed, I thought IRON would be honorable in having the utmost respect during the war to just fight, and get this over with. You may think we have no major affect on the war but every alliances contributes, no matter how big or small. I actually feel sorry for IRON now, leading down the road of no-honour.
We are being more than honorable, taking on anyone who wishes to hurt us, am I supposed to be praising or apologizing for TOOL's DoW on IRON, that seems to be the weirdest sense of humor. I think you will find our backbones are more than strong enough to hold up our own heads, while GOONS seems to need the assistance of yours.

IRON, I find your lack of respect disgusting, so unless you actually want to act like good boys and girls and actually use proper punctuation, I suggest you stay off this thread.
May I ask how we are not being Honorable? I don't think there is anything more honorable then fighting for yourself, when fighting for someone else you look as if you can't handle anything by yourself, which it looks very clear in this case. IRON goes to war in the interests of IRON, if TOOL went to war in the interest of TOOL I would be laughing like the rest of you, actually I am now, TOOL had no affect on the war.

I find it funny, and I quote, "TOOL fights for GOONS" and they are praised, IRON fights for IRON and we get criticized. That is a weird sense of "honor."

The irony of our enemies worrying about treaties.
If you are referring to the GOONS IRON NAP it expired a month ago, and theres a clause in there that goes something like if renewal is not discussed it is automatically canceled.
Article V: Cancellation of Treaty
1. This treaty may be cancelled, for any reason, and at any time, by the method of decision making among either alliance.
2. Notification of cancellation must be sent to the leadership of the other alliance within 36 hours, and for this purpose the rules laid out in Article II, Section 4 shall apply.
3. Should this treaty be cancelled by either alliance, a 72-hour grace period shall begin, during which neither alliance may declare war on or aid enemies of the other.
Article VI: Renewal of Treaty
1. This treaty must be reviewed for renewal every 90 days.
2. If it is not renewed, it will expire as though it were canceled as per Article V, Section 3
