  1. http://www.cybernations.net/nation_drill_d...ation_ID=334985 This nation ^ sent me a trade "out of the blue". I don't know it that was your doing Zapeta, but I am going to accept it. He is purple too, so happiness bonuses are coming with this trade.
  2. Why don't you message the guys via the links? There's only one guy right now I'm not trading with, three of the guys above were in my last circle and I asked them if they wanted to go in on this.
  3. ...and Vox no longer exists. So sorry.
  4. Wow Kain III was just reading this. Shame he won't reply...
  5. Go get em boys. That is pretty darn shady. I hope you guys get them, then string them up on the Gallows.
  6. Thanks. At least we can say we gave this an honest effort.
  7. Two resources left. And guess what? They guy who got paid "tons of money" to join another trade circle had them. Unbelievable. What a crock. Two to go guys and we can get moving.
  8. No problem. Just cause I'm not there anymore, doesn't mean I don't know how to back you guys up. EDIT: And thanks for the kind words. I'd pull my weight in any alliance and no one would be sorry they picked me up.
  9. Hey I give credit where credit is due You're always going to have those memorable ones, but unfortunately, people remember their bad experiences and the bad members more than the good ones. Lord Cynicus was a good guy too, if you remember him. He's the RL friend who got me into this. Its a shame he doesn't play anymore but I guess all good things have to eventually come to an end. I wish I could have gotten to know more people better. Its a lot easier to play the game the more friends you have.
  10. There I fixed it for you. Cooler? I tend to disagree. I always admired you though. You and Chairman Hal were great. If there was anyone honest and respectable in that alliance, it was you guys.
  11. Umm. If we're all going to leave anyway, why stick around? And of course someone in \m/ leadership would care to counter my opinion. I'm not real surprised. I didn't leave "when the going got tough". I stuck it out till the end and left like the day before they actually disbanded. We all knew they were going to and people fled long before I stuck it out. Just because I didn't stay the extra 12 hours didn't mean I wasn't loyal. I busted my *** to defend that alliance, and then was called a coward on my way out. Fine. I'm whatever you want to call me, but we all suffered the same fate. Still "backstabbing wastes". There's no changing that. That whole alliance was corrupt. You can defend it all you want, but \m/ is still hated by almost all. That's a fact.
  12. I was with \M/ during that war, and I regret every minute I spent there. Even though they knew they were going to disband, they still got all angry and ares-like when people started to leave, including me. They called us traitors and back stabbers even though we were all going to have to leave anyway. During the war, many of the nations begged for help, but were ignored. Most of the members were back stabbing, power hungry, wastes. CN doesn't need alliances like them and personally, I'm glad we lost.
  13. Seeing as he has a masters in English, yeah its pretty ironic. He'd lay waste to you. So next time you want to call someone out, you might want to actually make sure you are better than they are. Your loss personally. I'm a pretty good guy who's easy to get along with. If I created my own alliance, I probably would not recruit people who ridicule, and disrespect other members. Hmm. Who here would not be joining my band of merry men? You're smart. You'll figure it out
  14. There's things I would have done differently, like maybe not joined my first 2 alliances. I would have been packing on tech from the beginning, and a DRA would have been my first wonder to buy bigger amounts of tech. No regret though. There's things I wish I did/didn't do, but I have no regrets. Just need to make better choices for my next 1000 days.
  15. Oh I laughed. It was an honest effort, but I did chuckle a bit. How could I not?
  16. I'll help you out. Anyone who wants to send me messages can. I've only received like 5 total messages actually requesting help, so just send away. I'm in an AA of none. Its not like I'm doing anything right now.
  17. Okay apparently I have to stop bringing up RL experience and credentials, because I either don't know wtf I'm talking about or everyone else is here is better than me. I forgot online everyone is better than everyone else. I'll stop bringing up my college degrees because eventually someone here is going to hop over everyone else and claim their God. Don't bring up my RL attitude. You don't know anything about me so please don't claim that you do. Requesting a lock. Anyone who wants my help, because obviously there are some that do, you can feel free to PM me here on the forums or in game. Those who want to harp about my online attitude and what not, you can send me PMs too. Doubt they'll get read, but you can send them.
  18. I think everyone is being a little too critical (those who were offended for whatever reason). There's no problem. Basically I guess this topic was just to point out things that might make recruitment efforts better. Of the messages I received at least 1/3 missed the essentials like the links, channels and what not. I'm just saying, make things easy. I'm not trying to cut anyone down, I'm just encouraging an honest effort. I never claimed to know more than anyone until someone brought it up. And I am not going to sit here and say I'm better at this than anyone else. But a guy with an AA of none can clearly see what's missing. The recruiters themselves may not see it because they send out mass messages all day long. I'm merely trying to assist everyone. If I didn't want everyone to have an equal shot at this, I would have never made the topic.
  19. Alright. Easy guys. Let's not let this get out of hand.
  20. There's nothing wrong with being average.
  21. Its not an OOC attack. CN forums have a PM box if you'd like to continue this discussion with me. Let's get the topic back on track shall we?
  22. I'm just saying. Don't counter the thread if you know nothing about what you're talking about.
  23. Unfortunately what you want is large powerful nations, however, you want members fast. So what do you choose? You choose the quick strategy of getting scores of members with low NS and the uncertainty of whether they will be loyal or not. unaligned nations are difficult because they know what they want after playing the game for months or years already. Nations like mine are the most difficult to target, but the most necessary to make your alliance bigger. What's funny is though some people want to cut down and troll the thread (not you Metal), and yet, the majority want my help. Why would that be? Probably because I've seen almost 50 messages this week. And the bottomline is, the response I received earlier in this topic would have made me strike the alliance from the list. I dislike being trolled, and cut down. Also dislike when alliance members or players disrespect each other. I know its just a game, but have some tact. As for the recruitment message, they want a rating eh? I like this one. Its different. You discuss tech and nation profits which is good. You also employ a strategy involving fear...in a way. The fear of raiders will make nations run to your alliance for protection. You've got a forum link...essential. Overall pretty good. The unique strategy puts you above many alliances that have sent out messages.
