Actually, I started the topic because FARK FAILED to make a public DoW. I felt it necessary to bring this to an open forum since you guys couldn't handle it privately or even have the decency to DoW if feeling soooo justified.

I like how many people on your side have made mention that we don't know about the "world"... Our baptism of fire was karma, we are re-rolls not noobs. We never really cared for the choosing of sides garbage, because it usually doesnt benefit an alliance to follow others instead of making a stand on personal morals and ethics. In this case, we defend our right to deal with DT. Whatever DBDC means to you does not mean the same to us, we don't know them and they had no influence in our decisions or economics. You seem to make them out to be some sort of almighty controlling alliance. Does that tin foil hat mess up your hair?

I'm not gonna lie, I am kind of offended you posted this here, only because there is a reference to an alliance that has nothing to do with any of this and I made the embassy private for us... Why don't I just make it a public embassy?

Your embassy was certainly not messed with, I have no reason to lie and I feel that the above picture is more than enough proof if anyone knows how the admin log works... here it is again: http://oi59.tinypic.com/24nhe69.jpg I do not refute saying what I've said and I stand by our private deals, but I do not feel that this sort of claim is very fair... because it didn't happen.

That is how I feel, and why I made this topic in the first place. We started the WFF with the idea of being better than the larger alliances in regards to personal freedom but as well as moving as one alliance and making every decision carefully and as professionally as possible. This would mean that if we declared war on an alliance, no matter how small, we would make a public DoW (as per what I thought was one of the basics of CN). Forget tech trading traditions, what happened to DoWs? Or is this a Police Action?

We were awaiting a response for about a week now. Then I heard rumor that "WFF deleted the forum" which is false. No one has changed the embassy in any way, I triple checked the admins panel. The diplomat hasn't logged in since Jan 12, 2015 10:59 pm, leaving us on a cliffhanger. I don't blame him personally for this breakdown, I am sure he is busy with other stuff. Perhaps sending more than one diplomat to chat with us before making such a hasty decision could have been wise.

Consider the war aid as war bonds! WFF tries to make it policy not to take anything for free, for something given has no value. Tech will surely follow at some point :D

By that, do you mean that we were the first to choose freedom of choice over threats of terrorism and THEN extortion (recommended that we aid fark at one point, to cover "damages")?

Your diplomat would not understand my official response as our position of non-agression. And yes, after him repeating himself in various ways of the same thing, I said "I have been trying to get another DT tech deal but no one has gotten back to me yet today.". The point is that Fark wouldnt budge. We are small, why should we stop doing what we do? We participate with which alliances WE choose, not FARK or anyone else. Speaking of "sides", I was doing tech deals with your "side" during the war, and I even mentioned that to the fark diplomat. It doesnt matter, if Farkistan wants some infra and blood, we will happily make it as interesting as we can.

They attacked 3 of us at the same time. My major gripe is that they stopped talking to us and no formal DoW was made at any point.

Funny, I didn't realize that World Freedom Federation chose "sides" in global wars without being asked. It seems that Fark decided that for us. We will continue to defend freedom as well as the rights of all those who oppose it, hopefully our numbers rise to oppose tyranny on planet bob. Fark had the opportunity to hold diplomatic discussion on our forums. Instead, they just demanded we stop our cashflow AS WELL AS alienate our alliance from anyone they saw fit. That is unacceptable. Now we will do all we can to fight back.

There are many signs of a weakening empire. They usually involve at some point near the end, an undeclared attack on a small state. Remember when the Soviets invaded Afghanistan? Remember when Britain attacked the Falklands? Remember when FARKISTAN attacked the World Freedom Federation? Oh yeah, that last one is pretty recent... They thought they could bully us and tell us who we can or can't do tech deals with. We were willing to talk this out, but they decided to suddenly attack without a proper DoW. In the World Freedom Federation, we strive to always handle business in a noble fashion and expects just the same. We recognize your attack as a hostile action against the World, Freedom and Federations alike.
