Auctor declared something like 6 hours before us so there should be a chance to stagger. Doesn't have to be a whole day, if I recall correctly.

That's not how this works. That's not how any of this works.

You have just conducted a spy operation against the nation of Loli Loli Loli. In the attack your spy efforts were successful as your spies were able to gather the following information about the nation:

The agreement hadn't been respected by Sussudio, we have been attacked with a nuclear weapon:

    That was the reaction:

    The Empress of Peace.

PS: expect a more harsh reaction when the Empress of War will wake up tomorrow :)

I think we all knew on some level it was just a matter of time before Phil Collins1 became sentient and destroyed everything we hold dear.

  3. Taking damage doesn't actually mean that damage you do upfront isn't strategically useful. The alliance forting up and having the ability to do incredible damage upfront is a lot more of a tactical consideration in most cases than "oh snap, they have a midtier" tbh.

This isn't to say maximizing other factors isn't wise, just that maximizing ALL factors is wise.

Fixed that for you. I know, you're from Umbrella, so you probably won't understand what I mean. But other alliances do actually fight when the going gets tough.

I get that this was 'sposda be some kind of clever retort, but he made a pretty valid point there about the mechanical nature of this world. Unless you're arguing that tech doesn't meaningfully increase damage potential, you aren't actually addressing his point at all.

Some of Sengoku's warchests in your range are fragile, it wouldn't be very nice if that happened.

Not all of us have had years and years of hitting peace mode every time a hint of conflict arose so we could collect billions and provoke fights with whomever we want for months and months later on? ;)

  6. This tech rate tangent is kind of dumb and a discussion better had elsewhere, but realistically if the majority of your nation's income comes from foreign aid after the first 90 days, your alliance is failing to provide you with the tools to succeed. There also seems to be a misunderstanding about what the value of tech to an alliance actually is being shown.

  7. If you do not want peace, do not participate in peace talks. That's how honest people conduct themselves. It's really simple as that.

You're welcome to go back and forth and to and fro about whether scotland should have agreed to the resolution, but unless I am missing something, scotland hasn't been attacked, disbanded, or forces to tech deal at reasonable rates. If that's going to be the narrative, you're going to have to put some meat on the table.

All due respect, I'm not sure that hartfw went out of his way to help SNX, unless appeasing a paranoid alliance completely at the expense of their ally Scotland was helpful.  I mean, honestly, did Scotland or SNX benefit in any way after a public forced disbandment attempt by an alliance who was jilted nowhere but in their leader's mind?  If Junka had just swallowed the pill like a good boy, was this a win for SNX or Scotland in any scoring rubric?  I honestly can't see any alliance leader taking this well, much less being thankful. Shoe on the other foot, can you?

I wouldn't've taken part in peace talks in the first place. Is scotland a nonsovereign entity that isn't empowered to make decisions for itself btw? Honest question. If it is, tywin should either cancel on them or abide by the decisions they make for themselves. If it isn't, maybe hartfw deserved to get harassed three nights in a row with ooc attacks? !@#$, I dunno.

  9. tbqh, some amount of displeasure would have been fine. Tywin coulda kept it all IC and out in public and by and large, it would have registered an eyeroll at most. I'll admit to not really paying attention or giving a good goddam about what monsters inc's interest is, but SNX was free not to participate in the talks at all if they'd not wanted to and that would have been alright as well.

Pushing a dude that went out of his way to help you and an alliance that is already primed to go off was prolly not an amazing strategy for someone that claims to value the interests of his membership. Unless SNX's membership get off on seeing how far tywin can push people. Then it was likely brilliant.
